@@ExitiumD yeah no software with the mic but none needed honestly all you need is the volume control dials on the mic for your microphone volume and headset volume which plugs into the mic and you can hear back feed of your voice which sounds crystal clear.

For using a USB connection, we recommend around 60%-70% on the mic dial and around 90% on the computer. And then adjust on that basis to make sure the level meter of your OBS or other software moves around -12dB.

@@OriginalSirSpeaksAlot Yes, it does. But the problem is that if your plan is to use it mainly for PS5, you won't have a need for the XLR, so there's really no need to spend the extra on the XLR feature. We have USB mics with lower prices like the A6T and A8 available.
Please do research on a side and front address microphone and a dynamic and condenser microphone. 50 seconds in and I already feel like I can’t trust what this video says just based off that information being incorrect alone.

i been thinking of going too a xlr mic i might get this mic and my first mic was a fifine mic so i am coming from a elgato wave 3 i do a final review for my mic because i been getting annoyed from my elgato wave 3 it causes problem and the programe interface wave link app caused glitches and problems for my capture cards the hd 60 pro mk2 2k 2.0 one not the 2.1 one . also my hd 60 pro 1080p internal pc card

If the T669 works fine for you, especially if you don't have any complaints about the noise rejection or the tone of it, then there's no need to replace it just because the AM8 is newer. Otherwise, it would be the perfect time for you to replace it.
Is the am8 or a8 better for gaming and discord? Like which one will not pickup my keyboard sounds etc?
I had a condenser seiren mini condensers always catch keyboard sounds, clicks, and the pc vents, so Am8 its better if you dont want too pickup any sounds, just your voice.

@@ImFruzy Well comparing them, the razer seiren mimi is truly a god mic, but I just buy a dynamic cause they dont catch so much noise but with dynamic mics maybe you Will have some problems with the volumen cuz you need to be too close to the mic. So, for me, yeah it was an upgrade and I love it!

For anyone who don't like to hear much of the keyboard sound, please don't get any condenser mic from any brand. Just buy the dynamic to let it pick up less of those noises.

Make sure your volume gain isn’t
Too high and your connection is solid. Maybe try another usb c cable. Otherwise I’d contact FIFINE support. They have a website you can reach them.

I haven’t used the A6V but the AM8 and FIFINE in general is super good at keeping noise out of the mic!

I have one of these mics. My mic has a crackling sound when I speak and record. I have tried different ports, cords, and even have removed all background noise. But When I play back it still sounds like an old record. Anyone have any ideas?

@@omatheeeus could be of a fan on or a very noisy room? But that’s not very normal. FIFINE is good about replacements though if you reach out.
@@LuckyStrikeTech I don't have a noisy room, and it's possible to hear this white noise even with the microphone gain set to zero. I don't know if this is a problem with the microphone itself or possibly a power issue in my house that can generate this static sound

No. I typically use condenser microphones for music.

This is a dynamic microphone, so it requires it to be really close to your mouth like 3 to 4 inches or less. You might be better off looking at a condenser microphone like the a8

It depends, but an easy fit would be getting the AM8 for gaming and streaming for its deeper lows to reject more background, while the K688 for recording because of the more balanced tone.

Yes but you need an adapter. USB lightning to usb that comes with the mic. Even then, some devices report “this device requires too much power” tho the adapter solution did work for me

It's quite easy actually. If you don't want to bother with the difficulty of setting up the XLR, and your use environment is pretty quite, the bundle A6T could be better. If your room is noisy you will up your audio game in the future, no sure the AM8 is the way to go.

Dear friend, A8 and AM8, which better for ASMR video?
Well the A8 is a condenser mic and the AM8 is a dynamic mic. So I would think the AM8 would be better if you plan on being extra close to the microphone.
I picked one up yesterday to replace my Audi Technica ATR2500X nd I got the Ampligame XLR to go with it, I havent had the chance to mess with it too much but so far I am loving both.
I just wish that the Custom buttons could be used to mute apps via software as I dont see myself clipping much in the way of audio anytime soon.

This mic does not use phantom power and if you use it, it can cause issues. But plugged into a an xlr mixer should work. Just make sure to flip 48v off
No need of phantom power for its dynamic capsule that doesn't require power to activate it.

It depends on your use scenarios and the budget, the K688 is more of an all-rounder to fit more applications than the AM8.

How much mic level on windows and gain knob on mic you set?
I usually let it default. I think around 60-80 range? And mic I set so that it has a perfect balance between no background noise and good voice pickup. Just have to plug in headphones and listen.
Pretty cool mic for the money. The USB c connection does add a bunch of background noise, though.
It is more than the xlr but still extremely quiet
I read another review that said it was the usb C cable it came with, they replaced it and the noise was gone.

@@TLippyIV plug in some headphones so you can hear. Turn it up so you can hear your voice and little to no background noise. Too much background noise means too loud.

Tbh, it's quite an easy pick since they're actually two different mics. If you got a budget of around $100 and you're not a huge fan of the HyperX brand and you will use the mic only for yourself, then the AM8 is a better pick. But if your prefer the clear sound over the warm and deep one and your room is pretty quiet, then the Quadcast will work better for you.
