Can’t get over how good it looks coming down the runway! Time to mount some GoPros for some cockpit footage. 😊

Make sure one thing , you have enough negative in the blades for auto rotation. It sounds good in flight!

Looking really good, for a brand new build! You're probably still in 'overload', but what are your initial impressions of the Hummingbird, compared to your Hughes? Does yours have a governor?

No governor. Correlator on the throttle, just like the Hughes, so I am used to that. So far I like it. Lots to do yet to get through phase I.

    G,day Vic from Sydney Australia.
    Congratulations on flying RWY heading.
Are you finding any loose connections (linkages, nuts and bolts) from vibration?
Do you have engine management sensors and data recovery storage for analysis?
Any wet engine oil outside the thunderbolt?

Everything has stayed tight so far with 1.5 hours. Yes, I have an Advanced Flight Sytems 6600 EFIS and I’ve downloaded the data after every session. I’ve decided to put a richer jet in the fuel servo as a result of the data.

Vertical aviation advertise that you can built the kit in 1200 hours, since you are know done do you agree with that number ?

I took a little over 1750 hours, which included paint, instruments and interior. It’s a big complicated project. I’ve heard some have accomplished it in 1200 hours.
