Yeah, It's an "in-cre-dee-ble machine" especially when you look closer: In the TV series: - Merely 1/3 (or less) scenes was filmed during real flight, rest of them was staged / post processed - Machine guns and missiles were fake because there is no room to pack up so much ammo which also weights a lot - Jet thrusters deffinitely could not be real because it contradicts the laws of physics / no room for extra fuel - Even customized or modded Bell 222 could NEVER be "that" quiet as it is shown in the series After the series has been finished: - So called "weapons systems" was removed and the Airwolf has been sold to HEMS for a pittance - During one of it's HEMS flights Airwolf crashed because of both - Aircraft damage (that they didn't noticed) and pilot error - And to think that in early 90s I deliberatly threw away new bicycle and saved money to buy a VCR to record that piece of crap👎
The hell does in-cre-dee-able mean and what the literally hell is the rest of ur rant aimed at. You couldn’t pay me a million $ to try to explain what u just said

Years ago when I was wearing young mans clothes, I'm 58 now i asked a helicopter pilot why they were so loud. He told me it was the propeller breaking the sound barrier. Beautiful helicopter by the way 👏👏👍👍
Most helicopters will never have any part of the blade break the sound barrier, even with the rotor at max speed and the aircraft at max speed, such that the tip of the advancing blade has its own speed plus the speed of the craft. That's by design. Numerous bad things start to happen, so you avoid that.
That was amazing! The retractable wheels, the sound of the rotors whipping the air. I can't imagine what that cost to build and outfit with all the electronics. Simply amazing!
That's just AMAZING! Gave me chills watching this fly with the Airwolf theme playing in the background. Would be cool if he added a speaker with the distinctive howl that the helicopter "made" on the show. GREAT STUFF! Thanks for sharing!

This demo may very well be the nudge I need to secure my mechanical engineering degree. Freakin' AWESOME!!!!
It’s tough, but worth it.
I’m an ME who now owns his own company and love what I do. I highly recommend it, if it’s your passion.
I’m a Butcher and I also think you should do it…
This is pretty friggin wild.
Go get it! We have an Enterprise to build one day :)
After this demo I want to get my degree in UAP/UFO building, or atleast computer graphics. Whatever to fool people.
The amount of hours that would have gone in to that build is staggering I’m sure 😲 what an incredible machine
Yeah, It's an "in-cre-dee-ble machine" especially when you look closer:
In the TV series:
- Merely 1/3 (or less) scenes was filmed during real flight, rest of them was staged / post processed
- Machine guns and missiles were fake because there is no room to pack up so much ammo which also weights a lot
- Jet thrusters deffinitely could not be real because it contradicts the laws of physics / no room for extra fuel
- Even customized or modded Bell 222 could NEVER be "that" quiet as it is shown in the series
After the series has been finished:
- So called "weapons systems" was removed and the Airwolf has been sold to HEMS for a pittance
- During one of it's HEMS flights Airwolf crashed because of both - Aircraft damage (that they didn't noticed) and pilot error
- And to think that in early 90s I deliberatly threw away new bicycle and saved money to buy a VCR to record that
piece of crap👎

@@MaurycyRogowiecki tf are u talking about 😂😂😂 thats sooo off topic what are u even trying to say

Indeed 😢
That is so cool :)
Airwolf and Blue Thunder for us 80's kids. This was really cool.
I think I was into voltron and thundercats then, just surpassed JI Joe days maybe. I grew up on Navy bases though, so I used to build models of Blue Angels at the time. I definitely grew up in the south and used to call the rebel flag the yeehaa flag as a kid lol.
I was thinking the same thing.
🤜 Airwolf for the win
they put children into these things??! these should be banned, why would you put children in there???
@@Blox117 Lol No dude. Airwolf and Blue Thunder were a TV Show and a Movie in the 80's.
@@JimmyBeanz13 you should be arrested for child endangerment!! this is not a joke!!

Real one

This is unreal! Hands down the best I have seen yet.
thanks a lot eric
Where can I buy one?

Ist aber Geschmacks und Ansichtssache!
Even tho this guy has WAY too much free-time and money on his hands this is by far the most impressive RC I've ever seen!
Hello sir, I'm not rich. I don't drink I don't waste money. I save my money for models. that is the secret.... Thanks a lot
@@fischer859 well that's quite a response. I drink and save money and get females good luck with your toy and remember to tell your mother goodnight. Say when are you moving out?

Congratulations on the great job!
@@fischer859 why don't you get a PPL/PPLH and fly real aircraft ,That's where real fun is

Man that thing looks real when it’s on the air. Impressive

I like the pretend rivets. Such a nice touch! As a prior UH-60 Black Hawk repairer, seeing these guys put that little bird together took me back to my time in the U.S. Army (2000-2006). No other video has triggered my memories and feelings. I'm a bit choked up. Must be the size of that thing, ha-ha.
Wow... What a beauty.
One of the coolest RC I have ever seen. That sound is just beautiful
I like how he actually recorded himself setting it up, I like being able to see how it works
That is so cool!
Magnificent! I loved that show as a kid. What an amazing creation. Thanks for sharing this!

Incrível. Depois de muitos anos é realmente maravilhoso ver o “Águia de Fogo” (assim ele era chamado no Brasil) fazendo mais um Vôo.

anyone else could hear the Airwolf theme song in his mind when he hide that landing gear? :)
Beyond cool...as somebody else commented, the landing gear retraction is a proper "woah, cool" moment. Loved that, thank you!
Que saudade dessa serie, poucos tiveram o privilegio de assistir................Época boa.....
Verdade mesmo! Era top d+👍🏻

What a beauty! I bet the producers back in the 80s wished they'd had a couple of these.
The studio did have 3 rc models bigger then this model, I have photos of all 3 side by side I think they measured 14 feet long
@@feracopictures9322 Wow!
From distance hi looks like real helicopter
Well, this makes my 1/7 scale AIRWOLF model look tiny! Very nice!
ua-cam.com/video/TLBWysjr1L8/v-deo.htmlvvv
That was amazing! The retractable wheels, the sound of the rotors whipping the air. I can't imagine what that cost to build and outfit with all the electronics. Simply amazing!

Tree fitty
That's just AMAZING! Gave me chills watching this fly with the Airwolf theme playing in the background. Would be cool if he added a speaker with the distinctive howl that the helicopter "made" on the show. GREAT STUFF! Thanks for sharing!
I was just thinking the same thing. Add the original sound effects would be so awesome.
@@samanthakelly483 And then maybe shoot fireworks out of the cannons!
that would be the cherry on top wouldn't it tho he did well tho! eh clip it and edit that in and make a short

I enjoyed watching this.
Simply wow! I've seen the smaller version of the Airwolf copter before but at this scale it looks sooo real!
All we need now is the ability to retract the weapons and use the turbo to achieve Mach2 😁

Gorgeous model. Love seeing the internal mechanisms and craftsmanship. Feels a tad underpowered though. Might consider retrofitting to actual turbines.
Maybe the next one will have turbines
That is awesome.
This video needs the original soundtrack!!! XD
This is beautiful, I love how detailed it looks and the sounds are amazing it like the real airwolf chopper 🖤😀👍🏼
it would be interesting to catch on to it and fly.

Fantastic
I instantly knew what it was without reading the text. Airwolf! When it raises above the grass I lose that sense of scale and it looks like a full size helicopter. An incredible testament to the detail. Suddenly, I'm a kid again.
Impressive. Next project : working armaments :)
Wow... now you just need a hollow mountain for a secret hangar!
