Filming on stage with an entire orchestra and you still are able to hear the birds and the crickets outside, yet downstairs is complete silence. What a miraculous build 😊

I’m really excited as I got tickets today to see Lyle and The Large Band at the Gaillard Centre in Charleston this coming Friday ! It’s gonna be great !
I love the chaotic music of an orchestra warming up. It can be as intuitive as jazz, but before anyone could corral a label on it. I am always struck by the interiors of these facilities that can handle most any production to visit. I worked as skilled labor and seeing the different work shops and how they are set up is telling, they are not all the same. The back stage and dressing rooms are fun and when you meet up with that ‘old dude’ give him a hello for me. Best wishes for everyone to have a good show.
I loved playing in the orchestra. There's nothing like it. Listening to everyone warming up and practicing was exhilarating. As the principal oboist, I had to sound the A for everyone to tune to. It was incredible. 🎶😊
