definitely a rigged fight, but assuming it was legit, paul was so scared of mike he sat there for 15 minutes just throwing max range jabs because he knew getting close enough to try for a knockout would've ended with mike taking paul's head off

Tyson used to punch through his opponents.

His short and stocky physique matched perfectly with his peekaboo style.. practically curled up in a ball, bobbing left and right, always moving forward and keeping the pressure on.. avoiding the taller fighters lengthy jabs and catching them one to the body, then one to the jaw.. lights out.
Hard to imitate unless you have similar physique. In almost all cases, it's better to be tall with long reach like current champ Tyson Fury and late great Muhammed Ali.

Especially when the media and seemingly most of the fan base writes them off after 1 or 2 loses. That’s why I’ve stuck with watching the ufc. Epitome of speed and power. I get the power part, but so amazed by his speed. The strength it takes to throw that much power in a millisecond. Unbelievable 🤯 he makes it look easy. Mike is great and deserves all the recognition. But so does Cus, and I want to know how Cus reached through to Mike. I need a Cus in my life.

Finally a wise man.. im growing up.. The lethality this man possess is hilarious when he's, just psychologically focused.. It's not about size, and merit or pure instincts anymore.. Iron Mike is just so savage, jesus..

Watch the Jose Ribalta fight…that dude took some shots and still got up. Tyson said he had one of the best chins. Watch the fight. If I was in that ring with Tyson they would’ve had to bury me twice 😂😂😂

You really see the force with which he's punching when he misses. His arm goes through the full range of available motion in the air, and anything that gets caught in it's way is going along for that ride because the dude hits like a train.

I remember as a kid, when boxing was still legal in Norway we had a boxer fighting a match in Las Vegas. We had to watch it at my uncles place, he had a satellite dish. Our guy was mediocre he lost, I remember its was still kinda interesting in a way. But after that came the main event, with Mike Tyson...
I looked at Mike and thought, tsss this dude is way too big. Slow af, heavy weight is boring. A boxing match has never again made the same impression on me. This was the Iron Mike up and coming at his prime, he was as fast or faster then a feather weight, with lightning fast reflexes and a technique that was godly. I cant remember who his opponent was but he was totally outclassed. He didn't stand a chance.
Later on the sports news we had a interview with our guy, and they started talking about Mike. He said yeah I know Mike we used to train in the gym together. I was like wow, he knows Mike?
    I was a instant fan.
