Please accept my condolences, never a good thing when a family member passes away. Wishing you and your family all the best 👍
Cheers lad 👍
I love the way you don't ignore issues for another day. If something breaks, you fix it and all the while looking after your animals so well. Your dogs looked so happy running alongside the quad. And you have your medium and longer term projects bubbling away in the background as well. Fair play. Hard, honest work deserves rewards...👏

Sorry to hear about your lose. Your animals are so well looked after and you have thought so much about your shed and the gates are so easy to move when ever I had to move them yrs ago it was a rusty gate and baler twine. Your maintenance is second to non you are a credit to the farming industry and many a farmer could learn from you how to help themselves. Keep up the good work
Cheers Earle 👍

Great video Adrian
Sorry to hear bout your aunt.. I used to hire out a bull for the cows it was a great job only had him ere for bout 6 - 8 weeks and then gone no worries bout anything great video again
Great video Adrian, who was doing the Drone worked great, do the other girls help as much as the young one or is she Dads girl, could you may be have found a bigger adjustable to fix that water pipe Ha Ha, your right about fittings no matter how many you have you never have the right one, calfs look in great fetal, it will be nice to see things starting to happen outside, wet weather is a nightmare you can't beat the sun on the animals backs to see a magical time , any way great video Adrian nice to see different things around your farm, good luck
I do all the drone work myself George, when you set it up right it works away by itself. Be great to see cattle outside 🤞
A the good ole Harling trowel, a handy little tool with many uses 😄
Your a man of many skills toatal respect chum
May God be with you and your family
Condolences to you adrian and family
You inspired me alot adrian i love your videos
Great video as always Adrian. Looking forward to seeing you brace that wall, have an idea for you, will p.m you.
Those wheels don't need changing on the Massey 🤭 🤣🤣
Adrian you need a pair of rothenbrgor grips you can get ones like yours but with out the button all you do is lift up one handle and slide it up or down to suit
Condolences to you and your family may she rest in peace.
Looking forward to the Fergie video! Great video Adrian 👍
Great to see ye back 👍👍
Cheers lad 👍
Nice to see how a one man family farm works
Sorry to hear about your aunt Adrian
The Wrench you mentioned in England we call a Grip, and it is for holding against in pipe fitting etc, it's just very flexible and is easily applied by one person with Stillsons in the other hand, you do not have to mess about adjusting it.
good luck adrian👍👍👍🇩🇿
Fine farm
Best off luck
A pump plyers or a channel locks (as our american cousins call them)is what you want to help hold the brass fitting Adrian ,they are similar to that plyers you bought but lock and dont slip ,handler than the big adjustable 🙂👍,another super video
Adrian my deepest sympathy to you and all your family on loss your father ,he must be proud dad in heaven to see what you have continued to achieve on farm he started ,take care and give some time to yourself to think about your dad it helps, latersssss
It was my aunt Edward, thankfully my father is doing great, thank you 👍
Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. It’s never easy when you lose a loved one. My mam passed away in June of last year. It’s still as raw today as it was then
Sorry to hear that, thank you
If putting a dribble bar on your tank you should get a new rubber seal and new hook bolts on the back also it's a good opportunity to drop your back door and wash out grit and stones wont be so easy later on!
You should get a set of knipex cobra water pump pliers. Great tool. And make/buy a 3 point linkage adapter for the front loader so that you can use the bale splitter on the front loader and not have to take the weight block off at all
excellent video Adrian, loved the drone footage seeing all the water lying about shows you have had a lot of rain
Knipex pipe grips are the best had mine 10 years now use them weekly and they’re still good
I swear by a shear grab on a teleporter for feeding cattle pit or bales. Tip for opening the bales move the bale off the wrap be4 u take off the net so its easy to pick it up
Quick tip for you Adrian, feed the meal up at the head of the cubicles for a while it will encourage your heifer to go up into the cubicle. Sympathy to you and your family on your loss
Sorry to hear about your Aunt, my condolences. All sorts going on today! Also you know when a bit of kit's really got your goat, you're usually very deliberate in not naming brands, to call out that wrench specifically it must be proper awful!
I'm assuming a dribble bar for the tanker, Adrian. Yourself and Gerry 6420 love to keep the gear perfect. Good Video, Sorry for your loss.
Nipex grips all day long. Another great video 👍
Yep….that‘s farming. Always repairing something!
Knipex cobra water pump pliers are a brilliant tool adrain check them out. Happy to see the videos back
I will do, lots of people mentioning them
Good video. I have one cow that refuses to lie up on a cubicle, I spent weeks trying to get her to but no good
Sorry to hear of your loss Adrian. Yet you managed to put another great video up. Classic l'oreal hair moment when ya jumped off the quad made me laugh😂.
I was thinking about your dilema of bracing the wall you can prop that with timber ! Either a 6x3 or 2 9x2 '2s flitched and bolted. It would be a lot simpler and handier do than trying to prop that RSJ on yer tod. Or you could get real funky and run a cross brace with 150 x 10 FB on that wall, but with those winds id say youd still have movement. Few laurels as a wind break the far side of that stud rail on the cow pass ?. Either ways you know your yard and buildings better than anyone. 👍Great to see ya back.
I though about using timber but it’s a 14ft span and I’d be afraid it would bend under pressure. You be a lot cheaper to do for sure
Ye u hear ya. Most buildings are 16 foot or 4.8 in new money. Some run to 20 foot even with a 6x3. That bending your talking about is Euler buckling (me engineers hat is on 😉!) If you put the 9x2s on edge like a joist in a house and flitch with a flat plate ( sandwich it in between the timbers) and bolt it say every 600 on center id say your on a winner. And you've not as heavy a solution on an already weak wall. Again tis your shed. But i know what its like to be trying to do stuff on yer lonesome. And beam work is heavy lad.
Great content
here in New Zealand Angus is the main bull breed as the clean up bull but some are also using the Wagyu which is also a docile breed - Wagyu cross with the marbling gets good returns - I grew up on a dairy and crop farm with Friesian and we had Friesian bulls - my Grandfather had breed and showed Jerseys and he had Jersey bulls and they are mean and crazy
Sorry for your loss Adrian.. would you consider beef shorthorn if your getting a bull easy calving, docile and will leave great colour that sells well. We will have two young bulls available later in spring
I would highly recommend a saler bull if you are looking for one. Ease of calving and hardiness are second to none
Did you get rid of your old tyres from the silage pit yet and if so where’d you get rid of them?
Those pliers you were using, I always used something similar but they were made by Knipex I think they were called. Really decent quality.
Just priced them online there now, €120 for the same size 🤔. Stuff has got crazy expensive
Sorry to hear about your aunt rip
Make the chute on the meal bin like the extension chute on a ready mix lorry.
Yes that would work great 👍
Sorry to hear of your loss. I don’t know if you are aware or not (I am no expert) but when you weld galvanized steel you are supposed to wear a respirator. When you weld galvanized steel there are toxic fumes given off which can cause “metal fume fever “, I know you only welded a very small piece of it. Would hate to see you getting ill from welding galvanized steel.
