I follow many on here, but you are one of the few people, i sit and watch with no skipping. Your videos for me are relaxing, a nice reminder of my childhood. Sheep not cows, but just as hard work. Hugs too all of yours.
I appreciate that greatly and glad you enjoy our videos, I try to keep things moving along at a fast pace so people don’t get bored. I don’t talk or walk this fast in real life 😜👍
Hi Adrian, I am watching your video from West Australia. You mentioned that tea in a field always tastes better, and I agree, i remember as a young lad making hay on my parents farm near Delvin my mother would bring us out bottles of tea, and homemade bread. It was the most enjoyable part of making making hay at least as far as I was concerned. I enjoy your videos keep up the good work.
Hi Adrian, really enjoy watching your videos over here in the Adelaide Hills South Australia. I love how you can fix things, and the improvisations you sometimes have to make. I recently discovered a qick way to go back to the oldest videos and have started from number 1 in 2019. I'm up to January 2021, and am enjoying the "history" of the past few years and seeing all the changes taking place 👏👌💕
Silage season is always a fine balance between weather conditions and machinery issues. I remember my Uncle renting extra land for a few bales one year. They were baled and wrapped late evening so the plan was to draw them home in the morning. What a disaster..... The crows had been there before us. 36 out of 54 bales had to be wrapped again before we could stack them. A valuable lesson learned around 35 years ago. Another enjoyable video as usual. Thanks for sharing your week with us
Funny you should say... I've recently noticed that next door's young dad and his small son have started singing very loudly when I've uttered a minor something or other under my breath in the garden... I haven't broached it with them yet, but maybe now I've noticed I can catch myself 🤣🤣🤣😇
I loveeee it too and I'm an old 75yr old woman, wouldn't miss any of Adrian's youtube clips.. he's such a pleasure to watch and a pleasure as to how he never let's anything that's almost broken to just lye there, he's onto it straight away and repairs it. Cheers from Omagh.. ❤
@@paulineheaney6945 @paulineheaney I agree, i'm a 57 year old woman that can't farm anymore, and you are right,Adrian doesn't let anything go broken, he's talented and makes all the repairs look so easy, and that is from a woman who is not mechanically inclined! He's awesome!
Well played Adrian and the family, you done well to get them all in despite the issues. They can all give bother no matter the colour or the numbers on the bonnet. I know.😩😩.
Fantastic video Adrian, fantastic wife and family, those girls are not only bonny lassies, but very good at the farming. Love watching you all, every Sunday, you make my day. Keep well and happy all of you. ❤
I probably would have left the bales in the field until the morning, but that might have bitten me later 😮. It's nice to have someone else to help you out with a quick fix to save you from dropping what you are doing to deal with it.Well done girls 😂
I did that once before and couldn’t believe the damage that was done in just a few hours, grey crows mostly. I certainly would rather leave them if i could.
A great video as ever, Adrian. Tanks for me breath of fresh air, I dunno where I’d be without it every week living in da Smoke as I do. Girl power was a blessing after the runaway bale, sure you’d be lost without the Morris Women 💪💪😜🤪😂👏👏👏
Adrian you should be very proud off yourself that you were able fix as you went and that your amazing family are so good I so agree them owl masseys letting you down 😂
Great video - of the charms and hassles of silaging - and the blessing of having a supportive, creative and hard-working family. Here's to your 3rd cut!
Hi Adrian. You may of had a few issues but like usual with your quick thinking and familys help all was taken care of.i always look forward to your content on a Sunday/ so thanks .take care
Adrian, always look forward to your videos. There's always something positive to come out of it even if you have to look hard. Thankful for Sinead and Sophia being able and available to help. That's awesome 👍
Great video Mate I’ll never forget making wines of hay and the bucket with bottles of tea and sandwiches fresh corn beef Best mugs of tea ever out in field with the smell of hay brings back memories
Ahh the smell of fresh cut grass, and agree you can't beat eating out-doors! Great team to pull together and deal with the problems! Cheers, from Fife, Scotland
Hi I would like to know when are you starting more work on the cottage again plus I like watching you work on your farm just to let you know my dad had a farm and in the summer time on school holidays I helped out and got paid for it and I loved it so much anyway more on the cottage please hope to hear from you soon keep up the good work you do on your farm I'm all for farmers what they do all year round 24/7 thanks Jon
Lucky that bale didn’t hit the calves. It could have been a real disaster. You really do work hard, between the farming and the video production. A great video. I loved the shots with the camera low down on the mower.
By forgetting to put the leg up on the mower and getting away with not damaging it, you tempted the gremlins to try and get you again. Still, you foiled the little rascals again, so they thad another go and made an oily mess. The bale stacking looks fine. They are only there temporarily anyway. The wonderful paint job camouflages the tiny bit of disorder well, so I doubt anyone would have noticed anyway. Good to see you happy and having fun at the end!
Brilliant another masterclass in farming this is essential viewing there’s nothing wrong with Massey Ferguson brilliant tractors the cheeky so and so probably got a Lamborghini like Clarkson 😂🤣😂. I live in rural Suffolk and I follow Ipswich Town FC AND WE ARE THE TRACTOR BOYS 😂😂😂
Your right Adrian sandwiches and a cup of tea do taste better outside l used to love a picnic as a boy and now my grandchildren love it too weather permitting. Really enjoy your videos can't believe a year has gone by since l last saw you stacking bails, also love the smell of a field which has just been harvested.
Another interesting video Adrian, they say problems !,,,they come in threes , two tractors two oil leaks and bracket broken on the roller bale spike, but again you take it all in your stride,👍 nice to see not many flys around the calves, and perfect for your family to help out at busy times 👍🍻
Your throttle problem reminded me of a similar incident my wife suffered with her Fiat 126 many years ago, she fixed it with a hairgrip, it was still there working great when she sold the car 3yrs later.😄
that was a long working day but a good job done - doesn't matter what the stack looks like it matter whether the quality is good the cattle don't care what the stack looks like
Is it funny Adrian, how it is never something in plain view that breaks, it is always something in the most awkward place. My fafher used to say it makes you exercise your mind!!!!!!
Youll have to lend your ear muffs to your baler man ,for the next time hes out for pints! If it had of been the baling Olympics he'd of got the gold!🇮🇪 Great video ,& a great back up team !!!
Great video Adrian you can’t beat a bit of help and the job the lady’s did on the fence was very good for an emergency you could find yourself unemployed very easily . Did you get the bale out of the bog .
Another great entry to seasonal farming journal ….. and you’re right - well not the only one who thinks tea and cake tastes so much better in a silage or hay field - it’s a fact!
Great crack as always Adrian, drone shots looked fine you would never have known a 4 year old was not flying it 😂, that's the problem with having massey you can never have enough oil about you, lucky enough with the bale I had that happen here once hit the steps on the contractors big John Deer and snapped them off lucky no on was standing as we were stopped for our tea at the time, these things happen to every one and your right tea tastes much better when your out in the field how is that, I wounder if its to do with childhood memories, when like you life is stacked against us I always say well there is another day tomorrow not even touched yet and sure enough the next day is always worse 😂😂, good luck to you and all the family
Never used a double bale handle, but wondering could you place a 3rd bale on top, before leaving the field, so you'd bring 4 rather than 3, every time?
How many weeks do you leave grass growing before cutting it you said you're grass ls leafy I find you drink more tea when out in the field great job on the fencing 👏
I follow many on here, but you are one of the few people, i sit and watch with no skipping. Your videos for me are relaxing, a nice reminder of my childhood. Sheep not cows, but just as hard work. Hugs too all of yours.

The family that farms together, laughs together, otherwise, you would cry alone at how often things go wrong at the worst time.

that was a long working day but a good job done - doesn't matter what the stack looks like it matter whether the quality is good the cattle don't care what the stack looks like
He would have done you a favour if that bale flattened the cottage 😂
Good stuff
hello hello interesting video
Crows are the main pests when it comes to silage bales as bales can be attacked by them if they’re not painted or hidden out of their flying sights.
Is it funny Adrian, how it is never something in plain view that breaks, it is always something in the most awkward place. My fafher used to say it makes you exercise your mind!!!!!!
Sinead is a handy one! :D
All's well that ends well.🤞. 🤗❤️🌈🙏🕊️
Youll have to lend your ear muffs to your baler man ,for the next time hes out for pints!
If it had of been the baling Olympics he'd of got the gold!🇮🇪
Great video ,& a great back up team !!!
Thank god one of the calves wernt hurt 🙏
Great video Adrian you can’t beat a bit of help and the job the lady’s did on the fence was very good for an emergency you could find yourself unemployed very easily . Did you get the bale out of the bog .
Yes and we loaded it back on the baler to be wrapped again. Surprisingly there was only one little tear on the plastic
4:54 Food outdoors always Tastes Better than Food Indoors, which is why so many Food Establishments offer Outdoor Dining.
Hi Adrian good video love the bale art, tell the massey critics if it ain't red leave it in the shed.
Hola buenas noches, podrias decirme para que son esas ramas que tienes colgadas del techo del establo. Gracias un saludo desde Asturias
Mr ifarmwefarm 😂.
I heard it was 3hrs in the pub !😂

4:49 your not the only one adrian, whenever i was working for a contractor, i had the habit of eating my lunch at 10:30am.....
Hi Adrian, do you test your silage for DMD values etc.
Agree with you about the tea, seems far nicer out in a field, think when you are out doing something, you appreciate the tea more.
i like pit silage it fun
Them bloody Massey’s……always up to no good 😅😅😅 we all have those days.
Never used a double bale handle, but wondering could you place a 3rd bale on top, before leaving the field, so you'd bring 4 rather than 3, every time?
