Damn. This girl is (potentially) one of the most powerful and influential humans on the planet - of all time.
Even if it appears very late in the game, hidden away in the third mimic of the Duke's Archives, the Perception Box is, when used intelligently, one of the best items in Dark Souls I; since it changes the player view to first-person without inhibiting movement, you can use it alongside any ranged weapon to aim like a first person shooter.
The combination of the Avelyn, the Perception Box, and at least 99 lightning arrows (you will need Pocket Frampt for that) can make any character into a perfect PvP build, with the only stat requirement being a 16 or a 17 strength. It's wonky and unintuitive, but all of the best items, weapons, etc. in the Souls series are.
