Yeah the mobility of Necro almost forces you to get run speed on boots and neck but 3 evade charges on boots helps overcome the lack of any movement abilities
@@setoriusbelle 30’s-40’s lmfao that’s not that good at level 80 bro, I’m doing 65 with Werenado which it isn’t even good for pushing. Pulverize is not an viable endgame build pushing hard content. Get mad all you want but it isn’t.
This video is a perfect example of why you're such an amazing content creator. The fun factor is VERY subjective and I was a little skeptical on the way you might approach it. You examined each class in detail and you gave the reasons for your conclusions. This way every viewer understands exactly where you're coming from and can logically follow your train of thought. Most people only give their opinion without justifying it. Very well done!
For me what made the Barbarian fun was the sound design of Lunge which sounds like a sonic boom, and the visceral satisfaction of squishing mobs with Death Blow and having its cooldown reset continuously.
Play Barb, equip Hota and use Berserker Ult. Every hammer hit sounds like you gonna unleash an earthquake when you hit the Ground. And yes, the difference is noticable, i checked.

I would love to see a Necro build that revolves around a minion army where the player acts as a support for them to keep them alive and apply buffs to them.
The problem is the player can't really interact with minions in any real way, now you can use your curses to at least choose who to attack, but that's it, you summon, when they're max summoned you can heal, but that's it you can't temporarily buff Defenses or Offenses, you just sit an watch them fight
I was a minion build until about 53 and those 3 levels after I hit 50 were difficult. The minions just died way to quickly in all the end game content now I've switched to a bone spear crit with corpse explosion running 4 reapers and I can tank pretty good
I’m here for a good time AND a long time, because who knew having fun meant I’d play a game longer :P very informational and genuine, great content as always! Very appreciated.
Solid list. Nailed it with Sorcerer. I have always used Sorcerer as my first character since Diablo 2, 20 years ago. There are always going to be "meta" builds better than everything else. The problem with this game is it feels like all other builds on sorcerer are pretty much obsolete. Yeah you can probably make it to mid game with whatever you want, but once you get to the much harder end game, you're basically stuck with one build. I'm sure they will eventually work all that out though.
This isn’t really true. People have beat NM 100 with both Bliz/Ice Spikes, as well as Fire Hydra. Maybe Ice Shards too but I don’t recall. But that’s at least two builds capable of pinnacle content. Probably more will be discovered as players figure out the class better.
Blizzard creates the Meta, and players just discover it. Later on, they'll nerf that wizard build, then buff another to where that one was, so on and so forth. Sometimes a build reigns supreme for a looooooong time, sometimes it barely sees the light of day. I get why Blizzard does it, but I'd really like if every build on every class was meta tier lol.. But of course that'd make people lose interest quicker. So they cycle builds. Bugs me with the Necro in these games. I only like minions. If the minions are the nerfed build, I don't even wanna touch necro. Lol Diablo 3 did what you're talking about too. Only 1 or 2 builds are endgame viable on a class at a time. Metas are artificial. Blizzard knows the meta when they tweak balancing. They decide what we're playing, and I hate that design.. I wanna play what I wanna play, not what they want me to play.
They really should make the ultimate have its own button. As it stands now, you need so many utility casts that no one ever uses the ult, which I think would make all the classes feel a lot more fun
Loving the emphasis on fun and what you're personally enjoying whilst gaming, such a breath of fresh air amongst what feels like a storm of negativity within gaming content these days.
Druid for me is S tier just because of sheer build diversity it has. Theres easily like 6-8 good builds with it. One of it being one of the strongest builds in the game.
Yup. Its the one class where like 90% of the skills have at least some viability end game and even those 6-8 builds have some wiggle room for preference/customization. And as mentioend, these builds all feel pretty distinct. Unless you were set on boulder druid, pretty much any skill you want has a viable build attached to it. As someone who leveled druid at launch at WT2, I think the leveling issues are valid but overblown (at least with a LS build). The biggest issue with druid is how many of the builds are locked behind uniques/legos.
Any recommendations for a werewolf only build? I like the concept of shape shifting, but I find it slowly getting harder to stay alive as I only have the blood howl to heal rn
A "fun" ranking when everyone else is doing "best" rankings... you, Sir, have a new subscriber. I've seen a couple of you videos over the past few months, and I love the friendly and wholesome vibe your channel has. This has cemented it for me as content I want more of. Thank you for explaining the pros and cons and working through what makes these FUN!
I got really frustrated with Sorcerer in the early game because it felt like I was in a low-resource situation constantly, wasn't doing a ton of damage vs the expenditure of mana, and was having to back off fights frequently to recharge. The skill tree passives felt like I was investing in them to fix a problem rather than add to my build.
My early game with sorc was fine, it’s late game that really makes me mad. I’m constantly getting one shotted by lvl 75 enemies even though I have barriers up and 5000 armor.
@@nabe999 I started running two shields like every other sorc build. Ice shield is primary, and flame shield + healing is my bail out skill + using a healing potion.
@@nabe999 Maybe I'm playing it wrong but I just did a small experiment just now with my lvl 44 sorceress that I haven't played in awhile. I found a basic marauder enemy in the open world, invested 5 points in spark (no upgrade skills). It took 8 hits from spark to kill. It took 4 casts of ball lightning and another took 3 casts of chain lightning. For a basic trash mob enemy. I realize you're supposed to get them vulnerable or frozen or stunned and combo off of that, but it still seems really underpowered compared to my rogue, especially given how expensive ball and chain lightning are.
@@TheLizardKing752 was one shotting everything with a similar build at level 40 on my sorcerer? 🤔 You might need to check your gear and maybe check some guides.
I've genuinely been enjoying your videos! They are really informative, chilled, and helpful. Thanks for taking the time to share your experiences with the community :)
Blood builds for necro are good when you build around overpower damage. Youre gonna rely on nova aspect which allows you to use blood surge twice in 1 hit and when your blood surge OP’s does tons of damage when youre fortified. Fortification/OP damage/ essence regen are the three things you want to optimize and then look at attack speed buffs to do blood surge faster
It’s so interesting to me to see the differences you and I have. I found the Druid to be abysmal honestly. I also had the same issue with Sorc and Barb being that you feel very locked into a style of use buffs and spam one move. My list is closer to: S Tier: Rogue A Tier: Sorcerer & Nercomancer B Tier: Barbarbian C Tier: Druid
Been playing Rogue since day one and planned on picking up Necro for the first season, had my eye on both for a while so i'm glad that they both are doing well on enjoyability. Also for Rogue, you should try dropping the ultimate and using two imbuements, really added another layer of versatility and enjoyability for me
Dash + 2 imbuements + poison trap + twisting blade, and then speccing into lots of CC like knock down, daze etc, and then the paragon board that boosts your CC damage, was very successful for me. I'd recommend it. Although currently I am using Shadowstep + all imbuements for the nothing personal meme factor and to blow up with imbuements. The trap is probably better though.
I'm running two imbuements, poison trap, death trap and rapid fire as main core. My boots have 4 evades for movement and a bunch of speed boosts can be built into the class. Single fire of rapid fire after setting a poison trap will clear most groups (which stuns/knocks down, then dropping nades on evade will add stun with legendary effect). Death trap can stay up if you use it right, only ultimate that's decent imo.
I have a level 23 rogue but stopped playing it so I can play it on season 1. Super fun class to play. My main now is a Summon Necro and it has been a blast. Best summon class in an ARPG ever.
yeah haven't played my rogue build but I did put shadow and poison imbuements...was destroying mobs...playing my necromancer minion build, got a total of 12 now lol
I totally agree... I started with Necromancer and Reap+Blight+Minions, later switched to Bone Build+Minions and after level 50 and currently I enjoy Blood Build+Minions. All in all great fun and class variability.
Absolutely love this tier list! Need more of this in gaming, especially great idea before season one starts. Really enjoy how content genuine your content is!
Necro should get negative points for ruining the fun of others via their not being able to see. 😂 I also previously hated how minions sometimes messed up public events that required you to kill within specific areas, but they’re now able to target with them via curses, which is a nice change.
The curse mechanic they implemented yesterday is not a focus target mechanic. It dosent actually make the minions focus the ones with curse applied on them. They added the mechanic so that if you were to make a build which has no damaging abilities, necromancers can still make their pets attack mobs/walls etc through their curses.
One thing that can help Barbs is the lunge - death blow - hota - walking arsenal builds. You get a real rotation of your abilities and use them all a lot instead of basically just....spamming shouts and pressing 1 button. The buffs to Iron Maelstrom are really really strong now and can get it to come up extremely quickly by just playing that build normally. It's not as powerful in the sense of gigantic HOTA crits, but the playstyle is a lot more rewarding. I'm at level 90 and in nightmare dungeons 10 levels above me can just melt elites and bosses with no problem. Maybe not the best for like uber lilith or max nightmare pushing, however very fun and effective.
WW built out for comparison is doing 10 tiers higher than you at 85 without full uniques (missing chest) at pretty well built id say 85-90% min maxxed from my personal experience. sometimes the most simple is fun toi
@@jordanmatchett6155 I'm aware it's not as powerful as the two meta shout plus X core skill builds, just saying it's more fun personally to play while still being effective.
@@jordanmatchett6155WW is so braindead, no one wants to play that shit. I can't believe they even brought it back, they need to just finally axe the ability
I Rogue main - I agree it's S tier fun. Super fast, speed farms, feels great. I also agree that the Ultimates are lacking. I don't even use an Ult in my build, but honestly it's so snappy that I don't want an ability with a long cooldown. It's so much fun I get the feeling my friends are a bit jealous when I'm zooming through dungeons and helltides 😅
Not even close, I’m clearing high nm in under 3 min no class can match the speed of rogue Rogue is the only class with enough movement that can just go from elite to elite abs objectives How you gunna say necro slow ass could even compare 😂
Coming back to this. I think Barb's levelling experience is super fun. Unlocking chains or leap or stomp and eventually call of the ancients was super fun for me. Also the armor/aesthetics of the barb is second to none and that feeling of carrying 4 weapons all the time is awesome. I can see it get super bland at the end game since it seems like its either you go HOTA or WW and have to carry 3 shouts
Walking arsenal adds a mini game to his combat. I don’t see a lot of people using it but having two core skill builds on Barb with walking arsenal is interesting and fun.
100% and brawling skills add a lot too. I think Blizzard wants to make the Barb a dynamic multiple weapon brawler class, but are stuck with the legacy of shouts and WW.
For me running 2 core skills is counter productive. Are you leveling both to max rank? Then you're wasting 7 points which you could use to max 2 passives, and barbs have a lot of useful passives. And if you're running only at 1 point (+2 upgrades), then it means your second core (or even basic) is there just to help you maintain a 6-second long buff. If you're happy with it - good for you, but i abhor the idea of putting that much work and thought just for a short maintenance buff. Also at end-game - even if you come with full fury from the previous pack, you'll be doing very low damage until you build your Arsenal buff, which is 3 casts away from max bonus, and in that time i think it's entirely possible to die because for 3 skill casts you haven't killed any monster yet. Not to mention the wasted fury for building your stacks with a second core...
@@geistmachine2373 Agreed, i feel bad for those who feel "obligated" to 3x shout. My HOTA lvl75 runs an endless reset loop of Leap+groundstomp+kick after getting bored with shouts. It's funny as hell yet surprisingly strong too. Try other builds peeps
@@Fullgrym I just play the game I’m level 86 and it’s a fun build imo I never have a fury issue it’s almost always at max and it only take like 1 seconds to get the full buff the two sets I used were: upheaval, lunging strike, double swing/ upheaval lunging strike, Hota. The hota one was better but not by a wide margin (this was post patch on double swing) and your right not worth maxing upheaval. Rotation was upheaval with two handed sword, lunging strike into pack w/ dual wield, and of corse blow everything up with hota. I know it’s not the best build but it was fun to play for a week or so.
Necro can use a shield and is pretty good if you have high power SH weapon, my main build is using wand and shield (wand because of high lucky bonus needed by my build).
Havin a blast on my ranged rogue (lvl 56 so far) Started barrage and went pen-shot after lvl 30 when I got the aspect from the dungeon. Feels absolutely amazing to blast a whole group of enemies with one shadow-imbued pen-shot. Tried melee a bit, but the ranged build is more complex because you need to dodge a lot since you’re very squishy and you meet to position well to max your clear speed. Can definitely recommend this to everyone wanting to play the rogue differently.
I'd say a lot of enjoyment of classes come whether or not you hit the endgame and start working on your builds. I've had the most fun with the Druid, personally. Leveling was enjoyable even though it felt much slower than other classes, and I absolutely adore the Pulverize Build; I've tried nearly all other endgame builds for Druids but Pulverize still is my favorite.
I've managed to make a barb build that uses HoTA, Kick, Leap, and Ground Stomp. Idea is that kick & ground stomp reset leap cool down, leap generates fury for HoTA, brawling skills grant berserking. Makes for a really involved and mobile play style. Not the most viable, but definitely fun as hell. Nothing feels better than kicking an elite through a group on enemies into a wall, leaping on them, and dropping the hammer
I like Barb because it's fairly simple and was a good way for me to learn the other mechanics of the game. Whirlwind barbarian was pretty boring for me. I've been running my own flavor of HotA and enjoying it a lot. Season 1 will be my time to try a more "technical" class.
I enjoyed Barb too. Tried Sorceror and Necro (Necro is better those two), and didn’t like as much (guess I don’t like ranged). Rogue mele is a ton of fun, basically a faster and easier barb in early game. Need to try Druid.
Great video! I'm a lvl 49 Druid (my only char so far) and I've still had a blast the whole time in the early game. I'm a jack of all trades, master of whatever I want :P I'm excited to hear everyone say druid is the more fun late game, because I've had a ton of fun so far.
This seems like a tier list of how much focus you have to have to play each class. Which I understand as a streamer is more captivating. Rogue and Necro are super fun, but you have to pay a lot more attention to set up. Where as barbarian is easier to not pay full attention and still roll through content. For someone who is playing to relax I feel like this list would change.
I don't think it has anything to do with being streamer. I play to relax as well, and Rogue is the most fun for me. Once you get your build to work properly, you don't have to focus that hard. I do get that spinning through mobs as Barb is kinda relaxing, but it gets too boring for me real quick. It's depends on preferences, I guess.
Seeing a good person get rewarded for their efforts the way you have is really heartwarming. I thought I was subbed, but realized I wasn't when you called me out. You've definitely earned it dude!
Man, it's so refreshing to see someone with some humility creating content. I'm the same way; I make my own builds and I know they aren't the greatest, but I like to find it out on my own and brush against the meta. I stuck with blood spec on my necro for a long time until switching to bone, like yourself, and I also did not like the twisting blades meta on my rogue, and just swapped back to flurry after running pen shot for about 15 levels. Great video, you have yourself a new subscriber!
I really like druids options. They have so many builds you can do and be very strong. Only downside is wolves and ravens are not very good. Other than that they seem to have more builds than anyone else
Best thing about the wolves is how they distract enemies for you. On a side note, I managed to find an aspect which increases core skill damage by 15% per active companion. Plus another aspect which gives you plus one companion. So two vines three wolves and 4 ravens all contributing to a nice boost in damage. Otherwise never saw much use for ravens
THAT ENDING. I normally hate it when ytubers bring up the viewers to subs ratio as there is always an unbelievable sense of entitlement. Love that you mentioned trying to earn those subs. You the man
I learned minions are amazing with Blight and corpse miasma. It's also imperative to use skeleton priest every 5 seconds to keep you skelly damage buff active and they will mow thru things.
Still trying to piece together my old Army of The Dead D3 playstyle. Just tons of skellyboys, help them/watch them mow down enemies and then nuke with huge, angry moshpit/explody skellyboys. It was honestly a lot of fun to me, and I really wanted to keep that theme up for D4. I will give Blight and Corpse Miasma a go. I did try it a bit earlier on but I don't think I dedicated enough into it to see any hard results. Sounds like fun!
Necromancer is always my go to class, I love it thematically, but I truly hate it in this game. It just feels so boring. I'm doing the same spec. It's successful sure, but it's so slow and boring and mindless and full of annoyances. The 5 second skeletal priest thing, make sure to cast it every 5 sec, but don't overcast it and waste corpses. I guess this adds room for skill but I don't see where the fun factor is. Then I'm just slowly walking around the entire time. I feel like Joe Biden walking around a sound stage. I couldn't take it and quit Necro for Rogue and Sorc and never looked back Obviously this is just my opinion but given I always love necro, I was surprised at how much I hated playing it in this. I think the biggest thing is the lack of movement skills. And very few ways to increase speed outside of gear, and other classes have movement abilities, and talents to move faster. Necro gets 15% movement if you use shadow damage and that's basically it.
@Pinworm4 I agree with you totally. Necro is my main in every game that has them. Last Epoch kinda spoiled me cuz Diablo Necro is pretty Meh. I've been pushing thru and just trying every thing I could to make it work. Level 52 and hitting Nightmare is when the class clicked for me. Oddly enough the same time the buffs hit but really I just figured out the rotation for my build and landed figured out what I like in the build. Now my minions are never dead and I can almost just RTS my way around dungeons. It still feels like it's handicapped in what you choose. It's still not a Necro I'm used to but I'm working with what they got for now.
Great video, really enjoyed your thoughts! I think this tier list could change substantially based on if we're talking about group play or solo play. For example, Necro kind of sucks for group play if your party are speedsters. You end up just following them and collecting loot. But Necro is my favorite solo class. Sorc on the other hand is the opposite. I feel like Sorc is god tier for group play and not nearly as fun in solo play (like C Tier)
The rogue for me has been so much fun, don’t really know much about the other classes but I feel like a good balance of things to try and do with the rogue
I've been maining rogue my only complaint is that I feel really locked into my rogue build and I'd like to try a different setup but they just don't feel as good.
Level 74 rouge here, late game is awesome doing t40 nightmares lvl 93 monsters still super easy, enough health and mana back to just keep on spamming all abilities
@@hidden1319 I don't see the rouge hitting 60m with bone spear, the rouge is literally stuck using twisting blades. The rouge def needs help to make the variety of gameplay better.
I just found your content when you went over the patch notes yesterday, and I really appreciate your perspective on this game! I've been bouncing between classes without finding a main and I think this tier list is spot on for how fun I've found them so far.
I'm new to diablo but I have been having an absolute blast playing as a rend death blow barbarian, I recommend you check that build out for your barbarian play through so you don't get to dizzy spinning around so much. Stacked with the right passive, you are literally invincible as long as you keep using your shouts. Tons of fun with a super sayan mode to do even more damage!
It's refreshing to see a video that isn't just "HERES ALL YOUR BIG DAMAGE NEW META" and instead is focused on fun! Great video, great channel :) I think not enough people focus on a enjoying a game and just on what's "The best"
Barbarian: You have to try the Weapon Swap builds, which turns melee combat into a tactical dance where you alternate abilities depending on the situation. I suspect this is a unique gameplay style for ARPG.
Arsenal seems really cool, I've almost regretted pigeonholing myself into berserking until it started picking up a lot with ancestral gear. I've gotten those weapon swap unique boots twice at this point. What skills are you running for your builder and spender?
@@Smuggers. 2h Bash and Double Swing. I build fun over power, and mostly aim towards high-stun chance with 3/3 Concussion), Anemia (Outburst/Tough As Nails/Hamstring/2h sword Technique) and Luckbringer aspects. 3/3 Furious Impulse means that you only need 8 fury before attacking with Bash to allow next attack to be Double Swing. And Bash will stun 42.5% vs non-bleed, 65% vs bleed, 75%+ vs bleed w/walking arsenal bonus active, so that Double Swing is highly likely to return the 25 fury investment plus an extra 6 from the swap. Got to 65 hardcore before a lag death, but still enjoying the heck out of it at 90 softcore.
I really like what you said when talking about the sorcerer about “getting into your character” and looking to follow that thematic. I just started playing, my main is level 22, and I picked Druid. I wanted to be a Werewolf specifically but I feel it’s so much weaker when I focus strictly on Werewolf skills. Trying to find a balance between keeping my build real and also keeping it viable.
I was waiting for something like this. Everytime i google and search and on youtube as well, all i get are most meta tier lists, most effective, most damage etc.
Necro feels more like A tier to me. Bone spear being so much better in terms of viability than anything else, and missing the mark thematically by not having minions be viable unless you build 100% around them. It is still super fun to play, and a few tweaks in the coming patches could see more build variety but without that it's hard for me to see it as S tier.
you dont HAVE to build into them 100% 3 aspects maybe 4 depending on if you value CC that much and minions can hold their own. skill wise picking up warrior and mastery along with 3 passives and rest into your toons damage is very viable. couple builds floating around showing it off in nightmares
As a necromancer mane, I would like to add just one thing. After messing with each character (admittedly only early game) The Necromancer feels like the one that's most thematically correct. A large portion of the game revolves around Rathma, which is the first necromancer. There is a definite and wild imbalance, which is really the only time these guys show up. It feels like all the other characters are more involved in the world as a whole, whereas the necromancers ( specifically the Disciples of Rathma) only show up when this specific kind of s*** hits the fan. Now, that's just my take, and I admit to being heavily biased towards the Necromancer and the Sorcerer specifically.
@@grandmama94nteresting take.. can't even blame them. At the end of the day it's like seeing 2 superpowers fight one another while mortals can only watch everything turn to ash since no side cares about consequences
@_Tomon I guess to expand on your idea a little bit is for Diablo 1 thematically it was blatantly The Warrior. I guess aside from Diablo 2, every game has one character where it feels like they fit into the story a little better than the rest.
I am actually starting to have fun and feel powerful with my Lvl 45-47 Sorc now. Ice build w/ fire shield and enough equip to withstand downtime on skills. For the first time yesterday I saw a small "event" at Kor Dragan "starting in 2 minutes". Ran over there (why not, eh?) and me and 4(!) Barbs took on the fort bads and Blood Bishop in the end. I felt like my contribution of the chill/freeze really helped accelerate the Barb gang finish them off. It was fun and I can understand why folks like multiplayer a lot. I have this auto shield from a ring or amulet that puts a dome of invincibility over me which is nice. Wondering if other players benefit if they stand inside it? Anyway, I only get to play 5-8hrs/wk right now, but still having a good time. Looking forward to more.
My sourc is at lv 86 now and I have to say that the damage is really low compared to the other classes. Don't get me wrong here I love the sourcerer but they need a buff where all abilities are somewhat viable
I just like watching this guy. I think its his voice or the way he talks not sure but i need more videos. I hope they add more diablo content so it dnt get stale
Shadow Necro is good for minions, because of synergies in the talent tree to boost minion damage to mobs suffering from Shadow/shadowblight and curses. Legendary aspects are also important...You can buff minion life, buff minion attack speed, buff minion damage, and buff minion count that way. +2 warriors and throw the +2 mages onto an Amulet to get +3 mages. Run around with 6 Reapers generating corpses for Tendrils and Corpse Explosion (with the Shadow damage talent for CE) and 6 Shadow or Ice mages - Ice mages can be buffed with Blizzard skill if you get it as an aspect on a legendary. The minion paragon board also has some good stuff in it. I actually ended up sacrificing Golem to free up a skill slot to throw curses because my skellies are pretty powerful on their own now. In WT3 and above I do need to cast their heal pretty often and some bosses/elites that throw a lot of AOE damage will still melt them, but for the most part they are great. I feel way more confident walking into most situations with my minion Necro than I do any other class in the game.
I feel the same... I like variety. I like active classes. Spin and win is a one liner... novelty, but doesn't get your heart rate up. I like being able to build a class. I REALLY REALLY hope they add build options. Sometimes I want to be melee, sometimes I want to be distance... and later in the game your items trap you in your build. When you Respec you have to grind for gear to make you viable again. ESPECIALLY with Sorc. So squishy.
Ice Sorc is fun as hell. 61 atm Round em up, Blizzard the area, freeze em solid, and ice spear bouncing off frozen enemies+high dps to frozen enemies + Deep Freeze Ult is just Annihilation of the map. Lot of shields and Oh Shit buttons(like deep freeze ult as well) Fun as hell havent even thought about making something else yet, besides a 30 druid so far. Might go Rogue when season 1 comes, or if theres a Paladin/Templar type definitely would go that route. Good Channel DM 👍
I played Barb Thorns from 1 to 80 and it's very fun and satisfying. I did tier 4 capstone at 55 or 58, it's very tanks and it scales progressively. Adding the hooks was saw much fun, it's really good!
Rogue is the way, I keep telling my friends they gotta for sure give it a try. It's a super active class that keeps you on the move, the versatility is there with the imbuements, it's freaking awesome. Rogue is for sure my main, next one I'm making is a sorcerer, hopefully by S1 Blizzard fixes the Resistances so that Sorcerer's defense can be at the level it SHOULD be. I also very much enjoy necromancer, but in comparison to rogue, good god did it take me take me quite a bit to get used to the slow pace of the necro's movement speed. It's a world of difference of slow in comparison to rogue. I will definitely try out all of the classes, but I've been enjoying the "I'm over here, no I'm actually over here" feeling on rogue too much lol. I want A paladin back as well. Thx for sharing your thoughts.
Personally think your channel is the best and the most relaxing Diablo content uploaded I’m always glad to see a new video dropped all are very consistent aswell good stuff!
i’ve been playing necromancer and i love it so much. been doing a blood build with hemorrhage (fortify, blood orbs, occasional overpower from rathmas vigor) and reap (guaranteed corpse), blood surge (insane ability, favourite skill in the game), corpse tendril and explosion, and a blood golem. of course with other abilities built around it but it’s so much fun for large groups of mobs, it feels like a literal bloodsplosion like krieg in borderlands 2
I appreciate the effort you put into your videos. For a new player, not just to diablo 4 but to the entire franchise, I find your videos very informative and helpful. Thank you very much.
I started with bone spear being my end goal and honestly, I enjoyed my class from start to 100. Endgame is where bone spear really starts to shine. I have used both Rob and Maxroll as a guide for my build and I am really excited to take what I learned and apply it to my new bs necro in the new season! Great vid and you earned a sub from me! Peace.
I think an issue with "builds" is that if a content creator doesn't cover it, or a guy on one of these websites doesn't cover it it just disappears into the miasma. With the way stats and aspects work you can pretty easily and safely take ANY skill to nm70, my first character was a rogue I hit 100 with and ran a stun grenades build, with grenades on evade and shadow step, with shadow step resets on kill and 'grenades are traps' and was able to get up to nm85. Now I'm playing leap/kick barb with no basic or core, all cooldowns and its a blast, you kick enemies into each other and into walls and jump resets after every brawling skill. Builds take aspects to get going, experiment, have fun, don't just whirlwind if you find that boring.
Just found your channel and I like your very reasonable opinions. Playing a rend barb with death blow through lvl 50 was so much fun! I switched to HotA later game but it was so much fun.
I really appreciate your candid takes on this game. I've been maining barbarian trying to find the fun in the class, and it's been tough for me. I can't tell you how many times I've respecced already trying to find just an enjoyable playstyle.
I feel you fellow Barb, I am only 58 rn on my own Barbarian but i don't enjoy it as much as i usually do having played Barb as my regular class since back in the days in the previous games. Deathblow spam can be fun but otherwise it feels soooo slow currently for me at least. Which buld/spec have you found most enjoyable whilst leveling from the ones you tested?
@@pistolPablo I've tried a few builds but the one I think that was the most enjoyable for me was a dual wield focused build where I was trying to focus on attack speed and crits. That was most interesting to me. Now I'm playing a lighting sorcerer and it's scratching that itch better.
Can't wait for your revised opinion on Barbarian, I first started playing Whirlwind but got bored of it after 15 levels, and I'm now playing a Rend Barb and I find it really enjoyable to play unless I'm facing 15 Poison Elites that don't allow me to get near 'em.
I only watch your videos for Diablo 4. Straight to the point in every video and you generally understand the mindset of the casual player like myself even though you're masterclass of Diablo
I've always been an archer in most of my games because I love killing and 1 shotting things from afar. That's why I always start with them on launch. But I did not do this in D4 beta because a bow rogue felt underwhelming as it seemed TB was the meta. So I started with sorc on launch day. Got my sorc to 66. Ironically, I started with a melee build as arc lash was pretty fun and tanky and obliterated mobs and elite packs quickly. I switched to blizzard orb shards around 50 and found that was fun too. When I found a viable bow build for the rogue, I switched immediately and finally found the fun I was looking for in the game. Started off with a Pen shot build and switched to Barrage in my 60's. I'm now in my 90's and may be finishing with Barrage as it feels uber fun to shoot from range or face tank multiple elite packs without flinching as I discovered rogues can be pretty tanky. 🎉🎉🎉
A work around for the barbarian snap shot for whirlwind is just tap one of your shouts while on cooldown, it resets the whirlwind and also pops gores bracers ability if you have them. Yes the snap shot is annoying but once you get gores it doesn’t really become an issue since you want to stop and recast a bunch

This is the only channel I've watched repeatedly for D4. No clickbait, great format and genuinely informative videos to watch. Keep it up.
I don’t see people mention death blow enough. I love it and it complements whirlwind well.
That's the overpower sound I think. It happens with hota too
Oh yea mortal blow made barb for me, until my main skill outscaled it though.
Play Barb, equip Hota and use Berserker Ult.
Every hammer hit sounds like you gonna unleash an earthquake when you hit the Ground.
And yes, the difference is noticable, i checked.
such a shame deathblow is just underpowered even with the unique. I love the skill too but you just can't build it to the point it's effective

I would love to see a Necro build that revolves around a minion army where the player acts as a support for them to keep them alive and apply buffs to them.
I could be wrong here but that doesn't feel like it's a endgame high tier nm dungeon kind of build
The closest thing I guess is kripps build centered around the unique ring. It kinda sucks though compared to s and a tier builds.
The problem is the player can't really interact with minions in any real way, now you can use your curses to at least choose who to attack, but that's it, you summon, when they're max summoned you can heal, but that's it you can't temporarily buff Defenses or Offenses, you just sit an watch them fight
already working it...2 aspects dropped on 2 different legendary items, 1 for 2 warriors and 1 for 2 mages so including the golem I have 12
I was a minion build until about 53 and those 3 levels after I hit 50 were difficult.
Lol
Diablo 3 did what you're talking about too.

As it stands now, you need so many utility casts that no one ever uses the ult, which I think would make all the classes feel a lot more fun
tbh, this and/or make the basic the same as well ... given that we *must* put a point into it
@@willistan3562 I like the basic idea if they really want to push that build/spend playstyle atleast make the build button "free"

Did you not use a basic attack with early sorc??

Or just use bone spear
Gonna get 200k today man so happy for you. Keep iti going dude your awesome !
I'm with you - Necro has become my favorite class now that I have mine more finely tuned. Been incredibly fun.
It’s so interesting to me to see the differences you and I have. I found the Druid to be abysmal honestly. I also had the same issue with Sorc and Barb being that you feel very locked into a style of use buffs and spam one move. My list is closer to:
S Tier: Rogue
A Tier: Sorcerer & Nercomancer
B Tier: Barbarbian
C Tier: Druid
I went with shadowstep dash poison trap and destb trap essentially turns you into an aoe machine with enough single target doa to melt
I randomly came across your page for D4 content, and you've grown on me dude, easily one of my fave streamers to follow currently!
Necro should get negative points for ruining the fun of others via their not being able to see. 😂 I also previously hated how minions sometimes messed up public events that required you to kill within specific areas, but they’re now able to target with them via curses, which is a nice change.
Its fixed so, sadly. I loved Black screen of deaths
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve died cause of not seeing fire or poison on the ground cause of necros stuff.
@christopherhall6155 and it's gone now 😢
And more negative points for bone prison in groups. They either block me from meleeing the mob, or trap me from leaving.

Rogue is not better than any other proper build. Sorc and necro can easily match rogue clearing speed and even beat it.
Not even close, I’m clearing high nm in under 3 min no class can match the speed of rogue
Rogue is the only class with enough movement that can just go from elite to elite abs objectives
How you gunna say necro slow ass could even compare 😂
@@geistmachine2373and thank God they are stuck with ww and shouts. Because ww and shouts are sick and class staples.
I used to watch your stuff back in my RSL days. I recently got back into Diablo and it is awesome to see you again.
i really hope we get a some sort of knight/paladin class. im a big fan of shields so hoping they make class that can utilize them.
Necro can use a shield and is pretty good if you have high power SH weapon, my main build is using wand and shield (wand because of high lucky bonus needed by my build).
A death knight class would be pretty dope.
Havin a blast on my ranged rogue (lvl 56 so far)
Started barrage and went pen-shot after lvl 30 when I got the aspect from the dungeon.
This might be one of my favorite UA-camrs right now it’s like watching someone you know so it feels relatable
Ive been having a blast messing with necromancer builds, the options are pretty good honestly. Bone, blood, blight or minions or mix n match

I think it will be interesting to see how other classes hold up in expansions. I really want crusader to be good.

@@jasonbrody8724 yeah I've used this with a lightning storm build
Sounds like fun!
not mush use at level 88 plus they get one shotted by 90 percent of mobs
I'm sure minions are extra good now that curses can be used to focus your minions
I couldn't take it and quit Necro for Rogue and Sorc and never looked back
Obviously this is just my opinion but given I always love necro, I was surprised at how much I hated playing it in this.
@@TheLizardKing752 yeah I can definitely see that later on I’m only level 44, so not a ton of time but still a good amount
Level 74 rouge here, late game is awesome doing t40 nightmares lvl 93 monsters still super easy, enough health and mana back to just keep on spamming all abilities
Not trying to complain but the rogue is dumb strong doesn't need any kind of buff or anything lol
Do you mind giving a quick breakdown of your build, I've been trying to find some fun with the barbarian
Yeah I’ve been having a lot of fun with my walking arsenal barb
Definitely trying walking arsenal on my next barb. Swaping weapons like mad.
You know I'm here for it let's gooo
Havent tried bone, i am a blood/minions build. Made it myself. Level 64 now, and i burn through anything. My minions tank alot.
@@marvin_demonswitch to a bone spear build and don’t look back. Got a level 100 necro and have tried plenty of builds
@@ashtonpeschel8057 i have to much fun with my own build tbh.
Love your content, glad you're blowing up, getting all the love you deserve!
Shut up, nerd!
Necros are all about the balance so its possible they'd be on the Hell side if the Angels start crushing them
@@grandmama94nteresting take.. can't even blame them. At the end of the day it's like seeing 2 superpowers fight one another while mortals can only watch everything turn to ash since no side cares about consequences
I get it. Felt like the Sorc was the only thematically correct for D3 (main story wise with the Nephalem power and what we know about them from lore).
Cant believe the sorc is so bad. I literally dont want to play anymore.
Same, super disappointing. Pushed her close to 60 thinking it would get better.. it didn't.
Yep. Arclash is cool ad stuff but sadly its kind of garbage and pushing frm 50 to 70 has been terrible
Firewall sorc is cool for me, im playing it since 50 (75 lvl now, still fun)
Stopped at 52. Don’t think I’m going to touch the class again until it gets some major buffs (if ever)
My sourc is at lv 86 now and I have to say that the damage is really low compared to the other classes.
Don't get me wrong here I love the sourcerer but they need a buff where all abilities are somewhat viable
Corpse explosion has the most satisfying sound and animation. That little screen shake during explosion is a dopamine spike
Love seeing this guy blow up, good for you man.
I just like watching this guy. I think its his voice or the way he talks not sure but i need more videos. I hope they add more diablo content so it dnt get stale
Bro so excited that your now doing this content. Started watching you during raid shadow legend, and you killed it there. Keep doing what your doing!
My dude….this channel is just blowing my mind. You’re about to hit 200k already hahaha. Still happy for you & proud of you homie.
I remember when this guy had 20k subs, look at him now, it's insane. Always look forward to your vids while I play D2R.
Honestly didn't even realize I wasn't subbed yet been loving your D4 videos since launce you definitely earned my sub keep up the great content.
So squishy.
I’m the same way, I love having that “mini-game” mechanic feeling you mention.
Ice Sorc is fun as hell.
61 atm
Round em up, Blizzard the area, freeze em solid, and ice spear bouncing off frozen enemies+high dps to frozen enemies + Deep Freeze Ult is just Annihilation of the map. Lot of shields and Oh Shit buttons(like deep freeze ult as well)
Fun as hell havent even thought about making something else yet, besides a 30 druid so far.
He's a breathe of fresh air now that that D2 player being negative about D4.
i’ve been playing necromancer and i love it so much. been doing a blood build with hemorrhage (fortify, blood orbs, occasional overpower from rathmas vigor) and reap (guaranteed corpse), blood surge (insane ability, favourite skill in the game), corpse tendril and explosion, and a blood golem. of course with other abilities built around it but it’s so much fun for large groups of mobs, it feels like a literal bloodsplosion like krieg in borderlands 2
also would like to point out my second character is a rogue lol, im the exact same, i love the mini games and need them to be engaged
Peace.
When you brutally honest and genuine and not scripted. That’s why I always come back 👍🏾
I have never felt so "i have to subscribe" in youtube ever again.
Props to the wisely picked words on your outro !!
Thank you for the marks 😊 Rogue is my second class to play.
Loved the insight! Hit 50 recently on my druid and having fun gearing up but am also looking towards that next class, this was super helpful.
It may just be the play style of a hack and slash character. Not enough eye candy in its skill system.
@@soulsmith792 How has the catchup in "progress" been feeling once rerolling? considering the option
Love the videos! So glad to watch you blow up! You deserve it🎉
Can't wait for your revised opinion on Barbarian, I first started playing Whirlwind but got bored of it after 15 levels, and I'm now playing a Rend Barb and I find it really enjoyable to play unless I'm facing 15 Poison Elites that don't allow me to get near 'em.
Fellow Rend man!
Popping Berserker, chunking some rends into a boss and then oneshotting it with Death Blow is an amazing feeling
I love how brutally honest you are with the video I'll sub up
I only watch your videos for Diablo 4. Straight to the point in every video and you generally understand the mindset of the casual player like myself even though you're masterclass of Diablo
I took my necro and my Druid to exactly the same (lvl 30 first time ARPG player) and I wasn’t sure who to go to 50 with first. This helps a lot.
You're the most humble gamer I ever seen, keep up the good work m8.
Man I can tell by playing all diablo games since the beginning that you are doing exceptionally objective videos.
No bullshit, no bias 👍
You 100% earned my sub! I really appreciate your content. You have an amazing personality. A real joy to watch!
