I get a Lebron James feel from Ohtani. Both picked LA for the easy fame, $, and glory. It was the easiest path possible. Also why do you need an interpreter after being in America for 7 years?
Because since he isn’t fluent, a little spoken mistake will be magnified due to his stature. He also wouldn’t be able to express himself properly to full extent besides basic words. He gave a small pep talk in English to the team after clinching and can speak pleasantries and baseball, but anything else goes downhill like finances.
It’s a “bad” look because the Dodgers, who have made it to the postseason every year since 2013, decided not to pop champagne to celebrate another postseason berth. They want the division; everyone in the clubhouse knows it. Please move back to Cleveland
This type of thing was inevitable once MLB bought Rawlings to juice the baseballs AND all the rules to make stealing bases easier. Players were like "someone is going 50/50 in the next couple of seasons", someone else will do this in the next 5 years.

MLB made it easier to steal so we will see more 50/50 seasons.
Nice
When they said Ohtani should not be MVP, they woke the sleeping giant, poked the bear, grabbed the tiger by the tail, played with fire, opened Pandora's box, bit off more than they could chew, walked into the lion's den, shot themself in the foot, let the dogs out, stepped on Elvis's blue suede shoes, put a hit on Vito Corleone, lit the fuse, said hello to Tony Montana's little friend, drank the Kool-aid, unleashed the Kraken, wrote a check they could not cash, crossed the Rubicon, told Tommy Devito to go home and get his shinebox, leaped before looking, painted themself into a corner, tried to kill the goose that lays the golden eggs, called Marty McFly a chicken, rocked the boat, stepped on a crack, pissed off Bruce Banner, did not stay in their lane and know their role, assassinated Archduke Ferdinand, ate the poison apple, captained the Exxon Valdez, touched a nerve, stole John Wick's car and killed his dog, jumped out of the frying pan into the fire, checked into the Hotel California, counted their chickens before they hatched, put their foot in their mouth, brought a knife to a gunfight, bombed Pearl Harbor, broke a mirror, walked under a ladder, crossed paths with a black cat, barked up the wrong tree, snatched defeat from the jaws of victory, looked a gift horse in the mouth, stirred up a hornet's nest, called the kettle black, bit the hand that feeds them, dropped a bar of soap in a men's prison shower, brought cannabis to Russia in luggage, screwed the pooch, made it completely FUBAR, let the fox in the henhouse, ran with scissors, licked a frozen pole, judged a book by its cover, put all their eggs in one basket, took the blue pill, effed around and found out, cried over spilt milk, got a taste of their own medicine, gave up their day job, went on a wild goose chase, smoked at a gas station, kicked against the goads, ran with the bulls, stepped on a rake, painted a bullseye on their back, slipped on a banana peel, dropped the ball, stirred the pot, crossed wires, swam with the sharks, danced with the devil, tripped over a land mine, became a fly in the ointment, a monkey in the wrench and a pain in the ass, went down in flames, burned their bridges, did not play with a full deck, went up the creek without a paddle, doused fire with gasoline, cut off their nose to spite their face, pooped their pants, threw stones in a glass house, told Clint Eastwood they feel lucky, invested in Enron stock, sailed aboard the Titanic, tugged on Superman's cape, spit into the wind, pulled the mask off the old Lone Ranger and messed around with Jim.
why is it a “bad look” that they did a champagne toast for clinching a playoff berth? you guys say it ALL the time, it’s world series or bust for the dodgers. they expect to be in the postseason every year. they’re not gonna go all out for something they expect to happen. they’ll do a full champagne popping party when they win the division. good grief.
That’s a baseball tradition bruh. It’s not a Dodger thing.
Imagine if you will
Michael Jordan getting a quadruple double while shooting a 100% from the field!!!!!
That still would not equal what Ohtani did last night in nine innings of baseball....
Wtf......
Greatest athlete we have ever scene in history ....EVER
Ohtani is beyond 5 tool... beyond 6 tool. He is a whole Home Depot.
Well Thor was the son of Zeus, so why can’t Thor-tani smash AND throw lightning bolts too? Can’t wait to see what he’ll do next year on the mound, with the support of the excellent coaching staff of the Dodgers. Olympic God is in residence at MLB’s best school.
40 touchdowns and 15 sacks? wtf is Chris Rose huffing
I wanna listen to this show really, but every time when I hear Shohei’s name coming out from Chris Rose it makes me literally physically sick. I think how he handled the Ippei incident traumatized me. Such a hypocrite. Before that I really liked him so it hit me even harder. I thought he was a better man.
6:23 I saw him during his 50-50 season didn’t hit a Homerun though hit a single against the Cubs
Lmfaoooo they are not popping bottles for just being in the post season they want to win it all. The jobs not finish why celebrate. SMH 🤦🏽♂️
9:02 anyone know what clip he is talking about regarding Ohtani and Spring Training?
i believe its this one
Rose 13:03 "sorry that's my little dingy"
Me: yours comes with sound effects 😮
Not the greatest, bit has potential to be if he's consistent for many years
Is there anyone who is more loud, obnoxious and grating on the ears as Tom Hamilton's fired up calls. My ears bleed every time I hear him. 😂
Ohtani said let me hit 50-50 and everyone will forget about the gambling 😂😂
Shows how much you know....they have made the playoffs 12 straight seasons not just 2020 till present day!!
This type of thing was inevitable once MLB bought Rawlings to juice the baseballs AND all the rules to make stealing bases easier. Players were like "someone is going 50/50 in the next couple of seasons", someone else will do this in the next 5 years.
Champaign celebrations for going to the postseason is so weak...
1 of 1 to invade gambling scandals 😂😂😂
Truly looking forward to seeing Shohei in the playoffs 😅😂
Let’s see what he can do against very good pitching, not the garbage Florida Marlins
