Walker was the heir apparent to Kershaw a few years ago, he was going to be the Dodgers star ace for the next 10 years. He unfortunately suffered two surgeries that took him out for last two years, he comes back and doesn’t look the same like he once did, but he adjusted his approach to compensate for his lost in velocity and he still wasn’t afraid of the big moment. I hope he does stay because he still has alot of good baseball left in him.

The Freeman take is 100% accurate. Remember that the Braves didn’t want to pay him and had concerns about his age. He just won WS MVP on a bum ankle and to say he was WS MVP is an understatement. He smashed this series to pieces.

The Braves offered a contract of similar value to what the Dodgers offered. It’s unfortunate, but things play out the way they play out, and the Braves are still very happy with Olsen. Very confident in Braves ability to win another championship with slightly better injury luck and a couple tweaks to the team. Shout out to the Dodgers though for the championship and to Freddie

Walker Buehler earned himself a payday because he proved -- on the biggest stage -- that he's learned to be a pitcher, not just a flamethrower. That said, I think what really exemplified this game was that on the three Yankees' errors, those plays also required the Dodgers to do the little things right. Hernandez doesn't get to 2nd without a quick read and hauling ass, Judge was pretty shallow in center. Next play, that error probably doesn't happen and he doesn't make it to 3rd without a great jump. On the Cole / Rizzo mixup, if Mookie had jogged out of the box because of the liner to 1st like 90% of players would have, he doesn't beat Rizzo to the bag. The Dodgers did the little things while the Yankees lost focus, and that got them the game.

@@ARes13FOX I think he proved it. And I think he earned the right for more than 1 year. I think the Dodgers are pretty good at paying their players for what they did, at least with this front office. And he has got to want to stay, right? He won twice, they didn't give up on him, they let him take all the time he needed, they put faith in him, and he loves being able to compete. In his lowest of times, he said he wanted to be a Dodger. I believe he still does. And just like Kike, he shows up for it. They need arms, he's home-grown, he HAS to stay.

I watched the Dodgers AAA team play against the Angels AAA team in the final series of the MiLB season. I watched the whole series. Game after game, the obvious difference in the organization was spit and polish along with talent. From the almost synchronized preparation hop of the infielders as the pitch was delivered to the pregame high five line of the bullpen to the starter was impressive. By the end of the week, the Angels bullpen started doing the same thing. And I don't even like the Dodgers. But I love baseball. The Dodgers are good for baseball. They act like a marquis franchise. At this stage, the Yankees need some readjusting to compete. Tighten it up or other better run teams are right on their AL doorstep.

So, I'm definitely happy for everyone on the team and it's great that Mookie and Freddie who had been criticized the last couple of years really came through this time, but I'm already looking toward next year to see Ohtani pitch shutout innings, hit home runs and get the last out on the mound during the WS.

Trevor, please just go mask off and be the Jomboy Media Dodger fan. Someone's gotta represent us in that office.
There were times during the regular season where you spoke about it a bit more loudly but kinda backed down from it during this run until the World Series!

The WHOLE WORLD keeps saying, "The Yankees gave away the game and helped the Dodgers score and tie the game." No, they didn't. The Dodgers played with EVERYTHING they had and NEVER GAVE UP even when it seemed IMPROBABLE to come back due to the momentum of the game and stadium crowd. That's why when the Dodgers put it all on the line, the PRESSURE was TOO much for the Yankees to handle, which is why Yankees made error after error after error.

Agreed! One of the things I loved about this collection of networks was how they postured themselves around integrity, from the Astros cheating breakdown on, and around positivity. I don't even care as much about them laughing at the two mooks mugging Mookie as I do with Jimmy saying over and over that it was awesome, and then trying to rewrite the facts on 3 Things that they weren't in support of what these fans were doing in that moment. Don't insult our intelligence, particularly when the origin of the company are firmly rooted in respecting the integrity of the game. Guess integrity only matters when it helps the Yankees.
Trevor and Rose are about the only JM thing I can stomach right now, and I used to watch pretty much everything this network did all day long. Just for Jimmy to treat us all like idiots.
