This is a Ukrainian melody written by a Ukrainian poet to his favourite lady music came later . There's 3 or 4 Ukrainian melodies that have become jazz greats such as Summer time , Yes my darling, Minka by Beethoven altogether 5 melodies out of 100 jazz numbers.
