Per Aztercross's vid, the full magazine of Prospector (highest damage GL) is 700k +. It's clear that this new type of GL and the envious roll, w/o Vorpal has surpassed many known single weapon DPS options... Please compare once more, there are other vids online citing the same, saying it's not good at DPS is misleading.
@@DrewEcho The damage comparison between Templar and this dungeon ogre is what's really misleading. They're totally different and anyone whose watched enough of these videos would agree. Things that only do 700-800k on Templar can get like 1.2 mill plus on the ogre. If you're going to compare them, you need to use them against the same boss. Every test I've ever seen with the ogre shows numbers higher than what can be achieved with Templar with the same weapon, super, or build.

Unique as in the only wave frame that does insane self damage if shot anywhere near your feet
There are plenty of good DPS heavy 'nade launchers already, like Wendigo and Regnant. When I get my last 2 patterns for the choid, I'm planning on crafting it with unrelenting and chain reaction. They really need to tone down the self-damage on this thing, though.
Maybe try this next season. I have a feeling that bungie will do something with stasis and arc. Nowdays we have a lot of element synergy to play with outside stasis.
By the way, we have raid GL with chain reaction and hatchling for similar purpose, so it depends on season element interactions.
Regnant and Prodigal Return are both craftable from HELM. They are gonna be as great craftable weapons as IKELOS SMG 3 and Tarnished Mettle which both gets Demolitionist and Voltshot, and BxR which gets Demolitionist/Pugilist and Incandescent. Prodigal Return has Voltshot, and Regnant has Destabilizing Rounds. That’s insanely good.
Voltshot on prodigal is definitely not insanely good.
Forget all grenade launchers. Cry mutany is the only 1 you need. Its bugged atm. Incandescent and vorpal make everything explode with 1 shot. Just keep holding cry mutany.
Vorpal in general is bugged. If you apply a poison dot and switch to a weapon with vorpal it keeps the damage going indefinitely

IMO the only roll chasing Just4Fun is Devious + OFA. 1 round into the adds and you have a nice burst dps

like its cool an all but i cant bring myself to use it being a heavy like there is so many better options in that slot. if the made this a special wave frame it would be great.
Harsh Language is worth taking a look at. It's a special Void wave frame that gets Envious Assassin in the third perk column and a choice between Distabilising Rounds or Repulsor Brace in the fourth. If you get rapid kills with something like an LMG, it's quite common to have three rounds loaded into Harsh Language when you switch to it. Pair that with Volatile Flow this season, and you have an add clearing beast. Mine has Repulsor Brace, so not only am I getting Volatile explosions for days, but I also have an overshield almost constantly. This will be the weapon that I'll be using in GMs next week, paired with Gyrfalcon's Hauberk + Stylish Executioner.
Definitely worth a shout, imo.

Raegant is pretty fun this season with the Volatile artifact mod, I run it all the time for content that doesn't have a million bosses/champions to deal with.
How do i farm red border neomuna weapons?
Golden patrols are great and the special public event idk the name.
Load into terminal overload and sparrow to the other 2 locations looking for heroic patrols. Rinse and repeat.

I really wish this weapon was better, should be more like the dead messenger with 3 beams, i tried it during the craftening and it was ok, wouldnt of called it op in the slightest

Crafting is killing this game for me.
Collect borders is a rng grind, level up weapon is a time consuming grind and with so many weapons is overwhelming to level up a weapon to get enhanced perks then you finally finish it and it gets vaulted till needed smh
Yep I feel the exact same way. They need to make it faster to level weapons or reduce the levels needed for all perk combinations. I’m not sure but it’s clearly too time consuming.

It's definitely worth a craft imo, if only because it's its own unique weapon archetype.
I think it's pretty decent. It's not really that great for DPS. But in something like GMs, when boss DPS isn't the main priority (and instead it's about surviving adds), this thing might put in some work.
I definitely think it's build dependant. I'd only really bother to use this on Stasis builds (the biggie for me would be using this to smash Stasis crystals and frozen enemies as part of a Hoarfrost build), whereas this season you can stick a Void heavy on pretty much any element build and it does well. This weapon might be handy in future seasons, when we're given any Stasis mods through the artefact.
