If you are questioning why my damage is so high and everyone elses is so low its because it appears this weapon doesn't work well with multiples being used so I just so happened to get the first hit most of the time.
It’s funny how winters bite (which is also stasis) has the opposite to this effect. Bungie need to do better with their coding on this game and their weapons damage.
Also consider the fact that artifact mods might have increased the damage even more

We love a weapon with fucked up hit detection that has absolutely no reason to be fucked up but will never get fixed
Which is to say we love every single weapon in Destiny
i feel as though these should work differently than normal wave frames since it's heavy slot
maybe they could've made the wave linger like a line of damage. keeping its base function and also going a little extra damage over time as it lingers like that one Void grenade.
Or make the lines seek enemies

It appears this weapon is only good for cheesing Riven
Any weapon is good at cheesing riven, she’s the only raid boss that like never gets updated to match seasonal weapons. I remember when guillotine was destroying her in like 13 seconds, and way before that it was cluster bomb rockets
This would honestly be good if it was a special weapon single shot GL instead. Maybe it could have been part of Vow's wepaon pool so that the Souldrinker origin trait can have a stupid amount of synergy with the Chain Reaction ad clear potential.
Perhaps changing it to arc so that it can do arc blind on a arc subclass with that one fragment that works with special weapons
Maybe even give it ambitious assassin to overflow the mag on every reload after a kill.

This should have just been a kinetic WF GL, either as stasis or strand, not a heavy.
Wait till they do a thing to validate these new weapons like how the silly Collective Obligation can easily become volatile+weakening and deal anti artier this season plus overload from suppressive rounds.
Bungie definitely intended people to use this weapon for add clear, but no one is going to do that so this weapon serves no purpose

And this weapons has a smaller but longer wave which is about the stupidest way you could do a heavy waveframe.
I had this crafted the first week of the dlc and this is the first video I've seen on it lol

I agree with Dawnables, the wave should linger over time for at least 5 seconds.

If your shot to Caiatl foot will add more dmg to her plus Bounce dmg , try this one with Cabal tank and Riven

Don't you get an impact damage and wave damage by hitting at the feet? Shooting that short is a good way to test the wave damage sure but it might do more with impact then wave.
In my experience this can be inconsistent with wave frames, as the grenade may bounce off and travel in another direction leaving you with only impact damage.
GLs need a big buff, this is special damage level

It’s currently bugged,when multiple people use it at one target the game gives the damage to a random teammate, or the damage completely disappears for some reason.
Still don’t get the purpose to this gun

its best used for shattering crystals en masse with behemoth titan, but even then doesn't excel much there anyways since the waveframe will disappear too early if it collides directly with a stasis crystal. If Salvation's grip gets its rumored changes next season, its one utility might be outclassed anyways.
Basically just testing something new and not wanting it to be broken, unfortunately its just ass for everything
