Here are 3 simple steps to import an additional SRT: 1- Drop the SRT file into your Premiere Pro project, like any other piece of media. 2- Drag and drop the SRT from the Project panel into your sequence and place it anywhere in the sequence. 3- Premiere Pro automatically creates a new caption track that includes all of your subtitles. Your tutorial was the clearest, most efficient and easiest. I'm doing a video for a language immersion school. Mandarin and Spanish were the prominent languages. I had to to have English translations of those languages. The two tutorials I tried before yours seemed to be good. But once through the process they weren't. Yours nailed it! I seldom write comments, but I had to for you. You nailed it. I can proceed with my edit. Thanks for posting.

Following your method, I uploaded an English .srt file directly into ChatGPT-4.O and asked it to translate into Spanish, French, and German while keeping the original timestamp intact. ChatGPT analyzed, transcribed, and linked to three separate .srt files for download. Then I imported all three .srt files into Premiere Pro 2023 project bin and dragged each one ono its own caption track above the video file on the timeline. Thank you for your advice.
It did not translate on Minute 8, it responded in Spanish. The workaround in Minute 10 is to convert the original Captions into Graphics, as you said on Minute 11-40 Seconds

just deactivate the caption track (eye symbol). This also gives you the option to import an srt file.
