“Stop The Massacre” is such an ominous message in that mission, knowing, you just cant cause of the circumstance Yuri had just endured

Yuri may have been in the side of villains against the Heroes, but died a True Hero!
Like Ink said,he's the most influencial character in the series,he deserves honor.
And never included that shot in any video of the end of mw3 yet 🤷🏻♂️😳
this is why if you kill yuri in One Shot One Kill, it's a friendly fire and you fail the mission
"Yuri..." Was Price's last words before he died in og mw3 and Yuri's last words were "Leave me! Don't let him get away!" And they both die after a bit
Introducing Yuri into the narrative was a brilliant move. I honestly thought he was just some random merc or jobber who joined the team but discovering that he was involved from the very beginning was mindblowing. One of my favorite parts of Modern Warfare was their willingness to kill off main characters and bring in new ones. Instead of just following one small group of heroes we get to see the conflict from all sorts of different perspectives and it gives the story some real dramatic weight.
Honestly in MW3 I was hoping Price took down Marakov as Yuri was shooting at him :(

Ever since I played MW3 for the first time (which was my first CoD game and still my favorite), Yuri was my favorite character. I don't know why, but I just liked him.

An interesting detail is that how Yuri saves Price.When Price seemed like he was gonna die,Yuri shoots Makarov,but Makarov shoots him back,killing him,like in the events of MW2,when Yuri tries to save the civilians by shooting Makarov,but failed,falling to the floor and leaving him for dead(until the medics saved him).

The thing that I like is that you make moments in Cod more understandable, more meaningful and more on the character's feelings than our reactions.

Yuri's such a badass hero after he survived the massacre at the airport.
After playing through the new modern warfare campaign, i realized it wasnt nearly as dramatic or theatrical as the originals. It was a good story but it was missing some kind of spark. There were no hostage rescues or quick time events or badass chases or split second chances to shoot before you're killed with a machete. Our characters in the new one are basically never put in a really dramatic or seriously threatening situation and that's what it was missing

Frost was actually in Down in the Rabbit Hole but with his own mission. In the SpecOps DLC, Black Ice, he was the one who activated the self-destruct sequence of the mine. We don’t know this but Frost’s call sign is Metal 0-4 and what does Price/Overlord call you in this mission? Metal 0-4.

MW3 was the very first up to date game i played back then, i only knew about yuri, soap, Nikola or however you spell it, and price. I litterally didn't know what the crawling at the airport meant or even was about. Yet i still shedded a tear when yuri died.

can you imagine the theories inklasher would’ve come up with if these easter eggs like this yuri one and the makarov one were in the original cod 4 and mw2.
I like Yuri because he reminds me of a solider who fought that they were fighting fro the right cause but once the nuke went off and he was left for dead by Makarov he realized he messed up, and he wanted to do what was right and redeem himself for fighting the wrong side.
This is just like Barloume de las casas when he saw the horrores of what colombus and his men were doing the the natives so he decided to tell the king and queen of spain about what was happening to the natives and he turned against columbus and became a priest

Here’s a crazy theory about yegor for MW 2019. Yegor might be one of the shooters in no Russian because one of his operator bundles you get a skin of him in a suit with body armor and he gets a LMG blueprint and the background for his bundle show him in an elevator with his LMG. It could explain why Yegor is the only multiplayer operator that shows up in the campaign.
