HEMI Momma Omg sorry for your losses! That’s so wonderful that the surgeon told You to get that testing!!! It probably saved your life! I hope you are doing well! Hopefully your concentration will come back! I had a brain injury from falling down a 20 foot high concrete and steel staircase, I started having epilepsy afterwards (my head cracked open and I was found 4 hours after I fell unconscious in a pool of blood) , I would have granmal seizures once a day then once a week then every two weeks then once a month etc , it took 10 years to get down to once a day so I’ve had over 100 seizures and it’s caused not only concentration problems but short and long term memory loss! I don’t remember anything from 0-26 years (I’m 36) and I only remember small chunks of things from 26 until now. I can go see a movie and a week later I’ll tell my husband I wanna go see a certain movie and he’ll be like “we saw it last week”! It really sucks because people will think I’m lying about forgetting things and that I just didn’t want to do it, like my ex friend (it caused us not to be friends) we would set up dates to go do things and I wouldn’t show up or he’d tell me to call someone and I would forget in 30 seconds or I’d promise to order something for him and forget immediately etc.! Some people don’t understand how difficult it is for others with concentration and memory problems!! I forgot my husbands birthday this year!

I love this! We’re getting our tub replaced with a walk-in shower, and the vanity was next on our list. Watching your video, I’m thinking what the heck! I’ll try this with our nasty yellow 1970’s vanity. We were going to replace it anyway.
Love It! Followed the guidelines, tips, and tricks. The StoneCoat white base with rust and black marble counter top turned out beautiful and covered the '80s style dark blue color with no problem. Some lessons learned. Take your time and don't rush it (each coat of epoxy took me 3 hours to "baby" the epoxy up the edges) Don't worry if the spray paint looks too definite at first, as you put on to epoxy coat and chop in color it layers beautifully. Finally, COVER the overflow port in the drain. I'm glad I filled up sink to ensure the overflow worked... spoiler ,it didn't. A lot of epoxy ran through drain hole during the process. I had to drill a hole through the epoxy to relieve the overflow.
Thank you! I have two bathrooms with integrated sinks, and I hadn't tackled them yet because I just wasn't sure how. This video has given me the confidence to tell my husband, "I've got this!"
Hi Vernon sharp here. I find your product to be the best on the market. As the owner of Sharp Design Home Improvements in Georgia we have just completed our 7 project. Just let me say WOW. I love it
Its soo cool to see someone who gets genuinely excited about using the product they are promoting!!! Sure gives the buyer some added confidence!! Getting ready to tackle our brand new kitchen countertops!!! 🙆
I love the posibilitys the clear epoxy has brought to my projects. I have been buying pour on clear coat from Michaels for 12 years for my projects but its nothing like i have been seeing from stone coat. I have not actually bought the product yet but I am going to invest once I find the right project. Videos are very informative in creative! Love it! Thanks!
Its called fish eyeing, on the flat surface you can put fresh drops of resin on the eyeing area as it dries and they will go away but the back splash it wont work till its dried. You guys are awesome, Ive learned a lot from you and you've showed me something I can do with a busted back plus I love doing this kind of stuff. Thanks guys.
Wow I always think that the society we owe you a lot cause you are amazing with educative videos, I can't stop watching you over and over thanks once again
thanks! I have counters that I want to do and don't have all the tools to take the backsplash off like you do in some of the countertop videos. Plus I have a vanity in the main bathroom that is stained discolored and this helps so much to figure out how to do this and make it look amazing. thanks again!
Mike, thanks for covering this topic. I have a double sink vanity in Corian, with the sinks built in, I new there was a way to do this but wasn't to sure where to start. You have covered it beautifully for me, so I will be doing this project soon. Thanks again, I have enjoyed all the videos.
perfect tutorial, I've done so many different projects using Stone Coat Epoxy and these videos have really made the learning curve a lot more bearable!
Never get tired of watching people create. I loved watching Bob Ross painting back in the day and these videos give me the same enjoyment. :) Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing this in a simple way My new home is an meditarrean style built in 1993. I wanted to do some upgrades. I am going to try some of this. Wish me luck.
Wonderful! Well explained. May I note: I wish you would use more towels or re-usuable cleaning cloths as it would cause way less trash. Many people watch this and may follow.... Thank you and kind regards from Germany
I liked how you did close up shots at the end. That is what you were missing in most of displays. Keep it up... also would love to see metal flake done in a project.
I had those same dimples on a table I did. Now I know how to fix them. Glad I didn't throw that table out now! I am learning a lot from you. Thanks for all the videos.
This is the exact video I needed to see. We have a double vanity in our upstairs bathroom that needs to either be replaced or refinished we replacing it would be too costly. It has buff marks and what appears to be some super glue or something in the middle. We're gonna give the bathroom that nice rustic look so a gray rustic marble would look nice. I'll have to look into rustic color schemes to see what'll really be perfect because we also have to repaint the wood parts. I'll send in some before and after pics when we get that far.
DONE 2 COMPLETE PROJECTS..BEAUTIFUL..I USED GREEN PETINA IN COPPER/RUST MIX..ALL SINKS, FAUCITS.AND BASE WAS STONE ..VIDEO OF YOURS ON DOING A SINK WAS GOOD FREE STANDING.. MINE CANT BE REMOVED BUT IN REALITY MY HOME PROJECTS ARE ALREADY SET AND HARD TO REMOVE...THE SINK..WAS DONE WITH A LOT OF YOUR TALENT IT TURNED OUT GREAT..LOOKING TO DO MORE...
I have enjoyed watching your videos. I have plans in 2018 to do my kitchen counters, bathroom vanities plus vertical back splash in kitchen. I have a double sink in kitchen, I assume this procedure can be done on it. Excited believing I CAN DO THIS!
Stone Coat Countertops, you guys ROCK!! I have been watching your videos and I subscribed to your site. I really loved the quartz black countertop with metallic glitter and mica chips. I want to practice on a small board before I do my kitchen tops. After the kitchen, my next projects will be the master & guest bathrooms. Will send photos!!
I've watched lots of the SCC videos trying to figure out how I could use the products and techniques to update my bathrooms' integrated sinks short of totally gutting them. Now I dont have to. Thank you! Now I just have to decide on which color scheme... decions decisions. But excing decisipns

I love what you did with Stone Coat! Can this be used on a Corian countertop with an integrated sink? This could be the answer to updating the look of a 35 year old countertop.
If it is an undermounted sink, just cover it with plastic and tape. If it is an overmount you probably could loosen it from counter and lift it a couple of inches, but it would be easier to use to product if you detach it from the water supply lines and drain and remove it completely.
@@marieblocher7017 My bathroom counter with double integrated sinks is 7 ft long. I don't feel like we can remove it. Wondering if that is too much to try and do.
@@sandrablehm8735 I'm pretty sure there are other videos (not necessarily from a company) showing how to do full kitchen cabinets. It shouldn't be any different. As long as things are covered with plastic and taped off, you shouldn't have an issue.

I am getting ready to do my bathroom and kitchen countertops and wasn't sure what exactly I wanted to use on them but after watching a couple of your videos I'm confident I can do it with your product. Thanks for explaining it so well . Wish me luck .🙃

Tq, tq n tq so much. I like your creation a lot. N i learn so much from you. Now, i dare to do a make over to my kitchen sink n kitchen countertop. You definitely get a LIKE from Malaysia.
Thank you, this is wonderful and you've rejuvenated my 'inner, lurking artist'. The only thing I think would be really great if you could possibly add it to your videos, is to show us the finished product installed in its final destination. Let us drool over how amazing it looks in its designated spot... that's all I would ask for any kind of improvement. Thank you so much for taking the time to inspire us!
You are an artist!! It was a delight to watch you paint! Great video and instruction. My combined sink and countertops are from the 70s so all three have cracks rising from the drain area. How can I fix these before painting? Or can I?
if you send the surface is because you waited too much between the first and the second coat. the perfect time is one hour, cause in that case you are obtaining a chemical grip. in your case is mechanical grip and is not as good as the first one. said that your idea of using spray colors to prevent the mess when the surface is not flat is pure genius and the results pretty awesome, bravo
Wow- I am doing this!! Couple questions: When you remove the drain flange and the epoxy drips and dries in the hole, will it affect the size and not allow the flange to set in? If so, what precautions can I take? What is the work time of the wet epoxy before it starts to set up? I would like a gray base and add veining - will painting the counter first with the paint/primer be enough, or should I tint the epoxy, and if so, can I use acrylic paint to tint? Are your products available at stores? Thanks GREAT VIDEOS!
Yeah could use an answer to "When you remove the drain flange and the epoxy drips and dries in the hole, will it affect the size and not allow the flange to set in? If so, what precautions can I take?"
@@Celtic-Warrior - I haven't actually tried it but you SHOULD be able to "finger" out excess thickness in the flange seat area then torch or heat it to blend it in. You will have to do it 2 or 3 times
I love it …just what I’m looking for. I will more copper & gold to achieve the look I’m going for. I have a mixture of gold, bronze & silver hardware. It’s for my parents bathroom and my mom likes to change up the bathroom a lot so having something that will go with everything would be awesome.
@@StoneCoatCountertops Do I need to remove the sink vanity from the cabinets and remove the faucet pieces? Or, is there a piece I can disconnect under the sink? I probably watch this video 20 more times before I actually get started.
Love what you did to the sink . Would it work better if you let epoxy dry a little before brushing it into sink and backsplash so it doesn't run as much ? Never done it myself , been watching your videos , love every single one . I did practice on a ceramic tile , just to get feel of it. Love it even more now. Will be purchasing one of your kits . Thankyou for sharing so much knowledge. You guys are great .
this is exactly the question that was in my mind from discovering/subscribing a few weeks ago, plainjane manmade builder sinks and tops. Thanks for another great video.
Hey Mike, could you have added some of the vertical wall epoxy kit for this that way it would not be as apt to flow downhill? I was just wandering if that would work, as i would like to do something like this on my vanity top.
Totally awesome. I have one of those old vanity's it's a green "sea shell" mold bowl. Now i'm definitely gonna clean it up and coat it new with Stone coat epoxy. Thanks Mike for the wonderful how to. Wicked awesome.
I have been wanting to do this with my bathroom vanity but was concerned about the integrated sink. This video alleviates my concerns and gives me the confidence to go forward with my project. Thank You!
Hey!! Love watching your videos. I'm obsessed with it all. Very informational and helpful. I would like to know if it is possible to do something like this for refinishing a tub?
I have an almost identical integrated bowl cultured marble finish sink, that has the integrated backsplash along two sides. I want to do this without removing the sink, and in one solid color. Could you please make a video of a solid color, I know it’s probably more simple but I’m sure a lot of folks would like that sort of easy modern look for smaller projects like this, or even for bigger counters too, you have so many amazing colors on your site!
Thank you for watching! Stay tuned. It is the same process! You would just fog on or paint the surface a solid color before epoxy. Give our project support a call we would be happy to go over more details!
Nice work. I think when you have used the base silver coat or gray no need to add more powder color to clear epoxy. Some spray color can give the effect of marble. Is that right? thank you for the demonstration.
Great im glad I found this video.. been wanting to do this one.. but question..... Why wouldn't you use the wall epoxy on the counters with the built in sink?
I have a shell designed sink that I've been really reluctant to replace because our household likes it so much. However, it looks dated: but now I have an idea of how to spruce it up and continue to keep it!
Hello, Great videos and tutorials you give, we really appreciate that. I am curious about the longevity of your product as opposed to a sink refiinishing kit. I noticed you did these videos for display purposes about two years ago. Any updates from actual customers who may have actually resurfaced their sinks with this product? I'm curious to how long does it hold up with daily use. Thanks.
I have used this product on 7 countertops so far and daily normal use has not affected them at all. They all still look amazing!! I have not done a sink bowl yet but I believe it would be durable and work wonderfully for a long, long time!
Hi, I love all your videos, especially the new one with epoxy marble tip. Is there any other way to create that white marble metallic veins look with this type of integrated sink countertop without spray painting it?
Hi Vy Le, this video could be of help to you! ua-cam.com/video/52VdjSCu8LQ/v-deo.html Its a different take on our spray paint method for projects of this nature.
you have very good artistic senses about color. I'm wondering about the durability of epoxy. I have used fiberglass and know about gel coat for fg repairs to cover the resin and glass repair but that is not a countertop that gets lots of dishes sliding and etc. Also what does the chopping accomplish? removing air bubbles from the brush strokes? and would a gelcoat gun work just as good outdoors?
Is it possible to paint the tub to match the sink with Metallic Epoxy? I have looked everywhere and have not seen anyone demoing how to do this. I think it and the stool would be beautiful
The tub enclosure is an old really disgusting one what if we framed it in and aligned it was plywood like it was a walk in shower so we didn't have to remove it could we then put your product on the surface and get around that elasticity do you think? Or flexibility I think you called it
Really enjoyed your well-done how-to. I would find it extremely helpful to know how much time after each step it was left to dry or cure before each following step was performed. I'm excited about this project but I am hesitant at the moment wondering how to do this with the countertop remaining in place. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
All of your projects look incredible and thanks for the work and time to upload. For some reason though, this one just looked weird to me, not sure if it was the orange peel or maybe that was on purpose? But just didn't look like it really went that well.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I really like his videos and I've been really interested in using his product but this video looks like there is orange peel left and it's not smooth. That would be a deal breaker.

Nice project,👏like to see you do a tub with lots of crazy colors.
It turned out very nice. I love the colors. Thank you for sharing.

You are most welcome.
Keep up the great tutorials!
Exactly the tutorial I was looking for! Thank you for the great content!
I love your channel! It's a great service your doing. I have learned so much! Thanks love it! I'm gonna do my bathroom like this.
Awesome! Thank you Michelle! Will you be using the same colors or trying something different? -Nathan
@@StoneCoatCountertops i really liked this color. I'm gonna practice first. You guys are really good!
Amazing....recently purchased. Will let you know how it went. Really looking forward to this project!
You will have to do it 2 or 3 times
thank you! exactly what i was looking for, looking to do a fiberglass tub surround also!
I just have to say, you have the coolest job ever my friend.
I love it …just what I’m looking for. I will more copper & gold to achieve the look I’m going for. I have a mixture of gold, bronze & silver hardware. It’s for my parents bathroom and my mom likes to change up the bathroom a lot so having something that will go with everything would be awesome.
That sounds great! We would love to see how it turns out Shandra. You Got This🙌
@@StoneCoatCountertops Do I need to remove the sink vanity from the cabinets and remove the faucet pieces? Or, is there a piece I can disconnect under the sink? I probably watch this video 20 more times before I actually get started.
Love what you did to the sink . Would it work better if you let epoxy dry a little before brushing it into sink and backsplash so it doesn't run as much ? Never done it myself , been watching your videos , love every single one . I did practice on a ceramic tile , just to get feel of it. Love it even more now. Will be purchasing one of your kits . Thankyou for sharing so much knowledge. You guys are great .
Wow the sink came out fantastic! I don't know maybe one day I'll get creative after watching your channel.
Wahooo this is so exciting! I am steam punking an old hotel so wanted to reuse the stuff I already have there!
this is exactly the question that was in my mind from discovering/subscribing a few weeks ago, plainjane manmade builder sinks and tops. Thanks for another great video.
Thanks for showing this. It looks great.
I like the metal sliver rustic look it's awesome.
Hey Mike, could you have added some of the vertical wall epoxy kit for this that way it would not be as apt to flow downhill? I was just wandering if that would work, as i would like to do something like this on my vanity top.
Do vertical 1st ..let dry...then finish job. Should blend fine since it’s not perfect anyway.
I would like to know if it is possible to do something like this for refinishing a tub?
great idea ..... looking to do the master bed vanity ... that music at the end though !
I love the copper top table. Great product. I will definitely give it a try. Thanks
Nice work. I think when you have used the base silver coat or gray no need to add more powder color to clear epoxy. Some spray color can give the effect of marble. Is that right? thank you for the demonstration.
Coukd you chop on the top coat rather than using the trowel? In other words pour and chop. Also can you use metallic paints on the base?
Great im glad I found this video.. been wanting to do this one.. but question..... Why wouldn't you use the wall epoxy on the counters with the built in sink?
Hi. Oh wow this looks fantastic! But what happens if you have a brown integrated sink and you want to go lighter maybe a cream or light gray
I have a shell designed sink that I've been really reluctant to replace because our household likes it so much. However, it looks dated: but now I have an idea of how to spruce it up and continue to keep it!
Hello,
Great videos and tutorials you give, we really appreciate that.
Good video, beautiful job. Love the gloss and colors...
Hi, I love all your videos, especially the new one with epoxy marble tip. Is there any other way to create that white marble metallic veins look with this type of integrated sink countertop without spray painting it?
Hi Vy Le, this video could be of help to you!
ua-cam.com/video/52VdjSCu8LQ/v-deo.html
Its a different take on our spray paint method for projects of this nature.
Very creative, and nice blend of colors, though I wasn't too keen on the finish to the right of the faucet holes. Why does it look so rough?
you have very good artistic senses about color.
Another Great video! Can't wait to try on my outdated and ugly bathroom, really gives me hope. Thank You!!!!
It's so fun to do..hardest part is knowing when to quit!
I would love to see an entire shower tub combo done! I SO BADLY need to redo mine and I think this will work for me but I'm not 100% sure.
StoneCoatCountertops
The tub enclosure is an old really disgusting one what if we framed it in and aligned it was plywood like it was a walk in shower so we didn't have to remove it could we then put your product on the surface and get around that elasticity do you think? Or flexibility I think you called it
Really enjoyed your well-done how-to. I would find it extremely helpful to know how much time after each step it was left to dry or cure before each following step was performed. I'm excited about this project but I am hesitant at the moment wondering how to do this with the countertop remaining in place. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
I Love The Look.... I Can't Wait To Give It A Try
So many questions about this sink prodject and a better way to a video productions.
Would like to see marble lines and gold and silver alcohol spray on the vanity
