Dear Stone Coat Countertops Recently, I was walking by the graveyard and saw with great sadness that some people do not have a headstone. In my opinion everyone is special and deserve their fame. Did my first pour of clear on a 2X4 laundry counter and it turned out great. A little soft after about 3 days but I know it will harden. I will definitely order the UTC soon for when I do my kitchen counters. Watching the amazing exotic pours inspires me to give it a try, although I'm going for marble for my kitchen. I might try an exotic for the bath vanity which now has a cheap, 1/2 inch fake stone, plastic top. It's an under-mount sink and I'm afraid it will still look cheap being so thin so maybe I rebuild it with MDF?! Oh yeah, the vanities you guys just did, I loved the blue veins as well as the fire orange colors...just awesome!
I would highly recommend you use pinstripers tape from an auto supply store. It will make it so much easier than just masking tape. You will get much better results when you do your silicone. You guys are great though and I am amazed at what you do.

I made myself a "mold" out of 2 cheap metallic bowls (from a set of different sizes). Love your videos, gonna try the same with some leftover e45 the next days. Might order from you depending on shipping costs to germany next time.
I love this video. All the techniques are beautiful. Makes we want to try an exotic pour. I’d really be interested in trying to make the backsplash tiles. I’m sure I could do something similar for a kitchen. Do you have the link to make the molds. I didn’t see it in the Description box.
You gotta try the exotic pour, it's so simple and pretty when you pour it out. You can't mess it up! How long have you been watching Stone Coat on UA-cam?
@@mitchquist For the past few months regularly. I’ve seen a few of your videos over the years. But I really started watching you after I went to Rhonda’s class RK3
This is beuatiful! Question? What type of jigsaw blade would be best to cut the hole for the sink?
Hi Mike.... I was in Rhonda’s first epoxy class where you and your wife came down to help. Im really interested in learning how you did the backsplash PLEASE. Did you make the mould? Buy the mould? And what cement did you use to pour in mould? Thanks for any help.
Those are all great questions! We made the mold for the backsplash! this link will show you the process of making the mold and backsplash as well! ua-cam.com/video/hiz9ugQKgSo/v-deo.html
That sounds Awesome! Thank you for the comment and I would love to see watch projects you have done! You Got This!
I would highly recommend you use pinstripers tape from an auto supply store. It will make it so much easier than just masking tape. You will get much better results when you do your silicone. You guys are great though and I am amazed at what you do.
How do you join the insider group? I seen the backsplash section and you know got my full attention!! About to remodel our main bathroom and the Mrs. wants stone wrapped around the bathroom, at $10 a Sqft. is crazy! What is the polymer ratio with the concrete mix? Already epoxy our kitchen counter, so she is on-board!!
