I would guess it would have the same characteristics as Quatz and won't support a hot pan. Quartz is man made with resin and heat will brake down the resin and cause marks. I would imagine this surface would have those characteristics. Stone however such as granite is more forgiving to heat and hot surfaces as it's not man made.
I would be quite concerned with elements of the topcoat and underlying epoxy finding it's way into food. I, as a homeowner, would need to see detailed information showing the safety of the applied materials.
@@LeggariProducts ..and you have independent analysis showing the safety of your products for the preparation of food? Or is this just another company looking to make a fast dollar, and if any issues should arise, they are long gone...
@@damon6852 plus it's a urethane top coat. There are better to coatings to use. Im a coating pro of 20+ and im not using urethane on the surface where my food is. Plus the orange peel look is bad for a countertop, especially for cleaning.
@@nathanjones1700 so you would not use this product on your kitchen counters based on your extensive experience...I am suprised at how many people just look at the looks alone, not even caring about if this product is safe to use as shown in this video...
@@damon6852 i most definitely would not use that top coat. Also who in the world wants a stippled orange peel look on a smooth, horizontal, cleanable surface? It's begging for microbial growth. This is something I would fire someone or be fired for doing a job like this. People on the internet are enamored by shiny objects and things that they can't do. The dude did an okay job people are just uninformed.

I tried A laminate paint kit and it turned out snake skin. Sanded it all off, tried it again then a third with the same results. Gave up but some thought the effect looked cool so just left it. Been better just to replace it. It held up 5 years before I moved out.
as always i am fascinated by resin and the creative ways to use it, the colors to blend and the final results are always stunning! I bought a whole gallon of resin 1 to 1 and just when I am ready to create with it i see a new video like this and it somehow stalls my last idea.
1-looks better without the topcoat the way you apply it. Using a roller that is not saturated enough means it dries out, and causes air bubbles, thus giving it an “orange peel” look. That’s kinda the first rule of applying urethanes. 2-the music you chose does NOT go with your video, which is a cliche UA-cam video. Why does everyone seem to choose the same music? Because they’ve watched some UA-cam personality, and copied, thinking their videos would be just as hip. Applying epoxy is not hip or cool. Use appropriate music dudes.
PerpetratorX Yes. Absolutely. There is a library of music available for use when producing online videos. It isn’t a very large library, but it does offer enough variety that one can usually find music suitable for their type of video. I’m saying the music genre chosen for this video does not match the genre of the video.
Andy PeeDee You have a 3-syllable word in your vocabulary. That’s a big one for you, bro! Good job! Now, do you know what it actually means? Obviously not. Probably heard it from some T.V. show, cuz if I was an imbecile, I wouldn’t have the brainpower to own you right now, meathead.
Andy PeeDee Yes. That’s what I’m doing now. boo-hoo. You’ve hurt me so bad boo-hoo. Do you have a hanky so I can wipe the tears you have caused me to she? boo-hoo. boo-hoo. boo-hoo.

It's absolutely beautiful!!! The colours is breathe taking...
Thanks Connie for the comment
If anyone can tell me how I ended up from puppies to this video on a Sunday morning that'd be great!
Good job though.
Just wondered how it copes with heat. Could you put a warm or hot saucepan on it and it would be ok or nothing at all?
I wondering the same thing...lm looking online but l can't find anything about or scratches...🙁
I love these colors!
Thank you, take a look at our brochure below.

OMG gorgeous...I'd love to do this to my counters but instead of a gray base, i'd use white with gray tone accents. Love it!

Too much orange peel in the clear coat.
Dunno why add that clear coat at all. Epoxy stands wear and tear really well even in garage floor so for sure it will hold in counter top.
agreed. That much texture will just make it hard to keep clean.
If you’ve ever done floors or any work with urethane, you’d know that those bubbles dissipate when they’re exposed to flowing air.
Pretty cool. Recommend the cameraperson SLOW DOWN. I was getting sea sick.
YES; It has been 30 minutes and I am still nauseated.
Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful.....I was going to buy new counter tops now I will epoxy them much cheaper. Thanks for the video awesome!!
Thank you for watching the video. Have a look at our brochure. Thanks

I would be quite concerned with elements of the topcoat and underlying epoxy finding it's way into food. I, as a homeowner, would need to see detailed information showing the safety of the applied materials.
Once the epoxy is cured there is no outgassing at all with the epoxy. Thanks
Very nice! What is the countertop made of underneath?

Beautiful
Good job guys 👌👍👌👌👍👍👌👌👌👌👌👌👍👌👍👍👍👌👌👍👍👌👍👍👍
The finished countertops are absolutely beautiful.
Thanks Karen for watching the video
Why...why..why does "everybody" run background music..as if Silence Will Not Be Tolerated.?? I so hate background music. The countertop is gorgeous by the way.
Music👎the Counters👍
Looks so sick!!

erica zamora so enthusiastic about a counter...but yeah it's nice.
it looks nice but I don't think it really looks like marble.
Thanks Tim for watching the video
I liked both looks before with just the drizzles and with the brushing of the colors.. It turned out awesome!
Thanks Bridget for the comment and for watching the video
Круто! Очень круто! Хочу себе такую столешницу!
Trump on the TV was a nice touch. 🇺🇸

I think it was really cool before you blended ut
That is beautiful. I had no idea you could do that to your countertop. It completely changes the room. You made this look too easy

Thank you
I don't like the "orange peel" finish at all
Nats J.v.R We have 3 different top coat options. Glaze coat is our super high gloss top coat that lays out glass smooth just like the countertop before we added the the urethane top coat. Our WB Urethane comes in high gloss and leaves a minor texture and we also have a WB Urethane that’s a Matte/Satin finish. This Client chose the high gloss Urethane because it’s our most durable top coat and is maintenance free unlike the glass smooth top coat. You would be surprised at how many people want the urethane top coat and the matte finish top coat instead of the glaze coat that lays out glass smooth. We have a top coat to meet everyone’s preference. Here’s a link that shows the glass smooth top coat option ua-cam.com/video/A5703LI2RAM/v-deo.html
Ah ok. Thank-you
Glass smooth sounds nice. Amazing how that thick mess turned out really looking good👍
I tried A laminate paint kit and it turned out snake skin. Sanded it all off, tried it again then a third with the same results. Gave up but some thought the effect looked cool so just left it. Been better just to replace it. It held up 5 years before I moved out.
Does this level itself out smooth?
Topcoat ruined it! Before you applied it it looked expensive but with topcoat it just looks like those cheap cheap panels from sale
I think it looks good but i did see it kind of ruined it. It did look better before the last coat. It looks white maybe a clear coat.
I really liked the white & black look before using the paint brush.
The cool thing about our product is that you can do your own design. Thanks
Love it

More beautiful before you smudged brushed it smh
Song: Head under water - myra granberg
as always i am fascinated by resin and the creative ways to use it, the colors to blend and the final results are always stunning! I bought a whole gallon of resin 1 to 1 and just when I am ready to create with it i see a new video like this and it somehow stalls my last idea.
Go with your first project then tackle the next. Thanks
I’m guessing most of the comments are about seeing Donald trump on the tv
1234 u mad, bro?
Andy PeeDee You have a 3-syllable word in your vocabulary. That’s a big one for you, bro! Good job! Now, do you know what it actually means? Obviously not. Probably heard it from some T.V. show, cuz if I was an imbecile, I wouldn’t have the brainpower to own you right now, meathead.
Andy PeeDee I used “meathead” because I thought you would understand a 2-syllable word, Twit.
Andy PeeDee Yes. That’s what I’m doing now. boo-hoo. You’ve hurt me so bad boo-hoo. Do you have a hanky so I can wipe the tears you have caused me to she? boo-hoo. boo-hoo. boo-hoo.
I honestly can't decide if this is pretty or just tacky. LOL
