Certain design decisions will never please anybody. But the fact that you build a complete kitchen on your own in the ICF- house you build your own is amazing. Normally getting a kittchen made from a company costs a fortune, and they seldom deliver that quality and unique style. Thanks for the video, has been a great series so far :)

Know it’s an older post but I have to agree 100% with what you said. Being in the cabinet and remodel business myself I always give the customer what they want. It’s their investment and they have to look at it whether it’s something I’d do in my own home or not. Thanks for sticking up to the naysayers all they have invested is their opinion 👍🏻.

The part that I noticed the most was your little boy wanting so much for you to examine & be proud of him for his turtle catch. You praised the little one about his bullheads. That turtle was beautiful with the red markings. I think your comment was "back to work".
And for sure you are an adventurous & devoted craftsman/artist.⭐✌🏼

They "look" awesome, but how do they perform as counters? Epoxy is relatively soft - I'd worry about it getting scratched up and looking like crap in short order. Also I don't think it's very heat resistant - put a hot pot or pan down on it, and it'll probably bubble. Even the LEDs - they're cool for a youtube video, but I bet after you live with them for 2 weeks, you'd hardly turn them on

    • @jmuller86

44:33 phosphorescent and fluorescent pigments are usually labeled with two colors around here: the day color (in this case white) and the night color (blue). phosphorescent emits light after you turn off the lights, while fluorescent shifts wavelength and reflects in a different color, e.g. UV light goes blue.

You did an outstanding job on those counter tops, like the way the lights bounce off the shiny black epoxy. The cabinetry is beautiful. Everytime watching what ever job you do is so exciting not knowing what you will come up with. Great job, Jesse.

I cant believe you are criticising your work. It is stunning and a quality that many of us wish we had the skill to achieve. I would have to pay real good money for a kitchen like that.

😊 Very cool. I get a giggle how guys tend to really like decorative wood things, not minimalist, but also techy black and red glossy things. And have zero concerns about mixing the two. My interior design brain is screaming but this was so incredibly cool to watch and you're making many men happy with the choices!
