You guys are on a winner, filling a niche, with absolute quality using minimal expenditure n labour. I think Stone Coat is on the cusp of "reinventing the wheel", with its innovation, determination, professionalism, n great fore-sight. Bravo, gentlemen!!
Stone Coat has to be one of the most informative kitchen renovation companies out there. You never stop impressing me and dang you make it look easy for anyone could do. God Bless and you have done this!

I have ordered twice from stone coat and had an issue with the pricing that they put on their website I called well I emailed 1st and got no help I called someone they laughed at me had another guy get on the phone and say it was my phone the reason why things were messed up customer service is horrible. Never again will I order from here.
Just finished our laminate countertop with your carrera marble kit. It turned out awesome!!! And you are right about the ease of use. This was our first time using epoxy but your videos helped to make it successful. Thanks
Your videos are not only captivating and appealing, but you answer most questions before they are asked. I especially appreciate your tried and tested tools for the job recommendations. Everyone who does this will feel like a fabulous artist!
This may be my favorite design yet! I'm now convinced that I definitely need to do a rock edge to my countertops as well. This actually looks like a uniquely organic stone that would cost a FORTUNE to buy if it were. Thank you for sharing all of your videos with us. I found your UA-cam channel after realizing how expensive (10K) the quartz countertops (just for stones, no labor included) that I priced to update my kitchen. I'll save SEVERAL thousand dollars when I'm ready, and am confident that I can do the entire project myself, with the help of a few other people that are artists/tradesmen to make the process even faster!
I actually learned a lot off you and developed a real passion for doing my own take on it. I will probably do video's and give a shout out to you... Because i love the passion and drive... that's where your alive the most.. in the work you do and not the money... I'm all about that as an old soul.... my angle at life is calm, collective and good energy always emit and examplify . Any thanks for all the lessons. Appreciate it.
I have to tell you, before and after the topcoat BOTH look stunning! I would love to see the full height back splash too! Thank You So Much for being so Inspiring ! ! ! ! ! !
I loved the pour and both the high/low sheen. The high sheen was very intense and beautiful. The low sheen looked like carmel and was gorgeous! So winner/winner!!! If it were in my kitchen I'd prefer the low sheen, but in my bathroom or my desk in the office I'd prefer the high sheen. I'm going to do my office desk top first and the matching tables. A end table and a high boy table for behind the couch. I think it'll be gorgeous. My kitchen is going to be done in a white granite look with greys and a very small touch of black. I learned about the process from Soap and Clay (a handmade soap business), Chantine is promoting you on her channel, you should say Hi to her. They are redoing their whole house and they are using your techniques. She's done her bathrooms, soap studio, pontoon so far. Their biggest project is coming up, the kitchen! @@jeaninemorgan9118 Don't be too scared. Buy a gallon to use for test panels. Do about a dozen test panels with 1/4 inch MDF 12 inch squares before committing to your counters. I am almost ready to pour my counters after having tried powders, metallic/hammered/flat/glossy spray-paints, dyes, tilting, tourch-moving/blowing, and layering. I haven't done the alcohol spray yet as I don't want the granite blotchy look. You won't know if you want powders or paints or both until you see it in action and how they merge and mix together. And boy does it move around after you pour. Come back in an hour to a completely different look. I like your Frankenstein mix to get an effect. Yes it is a bit busy, but it definitely works! I owned a concrete construction company. Everyone had seen stamped concrete where you use coloured powdered release agent to give color contrast. But I experimented with dashing on more than 1 color release (even using small amounts of the more expensive metallics). It gave me the ability to ‘match’ the existing house stone. I’d also do a cost saving trick. A complete coloured concrete drive loses the ‘effect’. But forming the drive so that the bulk of the drive is plain natural crete, but then to use coloured crete to create veins. Then to use more than 1 color of release on the coloured stamped veins, provides a definite eye catching POP. (Added bonus- breaking it into 2 pours removes stress 😉)

Ok, I gotta say, using bonds to create the rough stone face look is genius! I saw the thumbnail and watched the video just to see the rough stone face.
I definitely like a good high sheen, but I guess that the low sheen will make it look more realistic, even though it looks real to me. Beautiful work there.

Dragging feathers through it can also give natural fault lines exactly where you want them!🤗
That's an amazing idea Nancy! We would love to see your designs! -Nathan
@@StoneCoatCountertops that's a technique used in faux painting to create marbling veins when you want to imitate honed marble. I've done a green one and black one for fireplaces.
I really like the high gloss look, however, everything you do is wonderful. thank you so much....
Before....the high gloss looks much richer.
This reminds me of pouring paint on a canvas! I'd love to do this on my warn out granite kitchen counter.
Watching him sand without a vacuum made my nose stuffy🤧
But there was a vacuum attached.
I love both the high & low sheen, it would b hard 4 me 2 choose which I'd want in my kitchen. Probably the low sheen 2 keep glare 2 a minimum but please do show us the tile back splash tutorial!
I want to do my laminate countertops so bad. I will just have to wait until I'm not pregnant.
Love the high gloss. I would also love to learn how to take the epoxy up the wall three or four inches to make it all look like one piece. I am definitely interested the tile backsplash as well. Thank you 😊
Thank you o much for your feedback, stay tuned! What is your favorite color combination?
Having runs as “texture” on the sides is horrific
I agree, it looks like obvious drips and not a “rock face edge”. But I like the rest
I like the low gloss finish. The high gloss looks good too but the low gloss finish seems more natural. Over all, it's beautiful.
Nicole thank you for your feedback my friend! Would you use the same colors?🙌
@@StoneCoatCountertops absolutely!!
I love the high sheen. I just did my first table, not as wild but I loved getting into the art of doing this. I wish I wasn't so messy. this is fun, I may have to quit my real job!
Yeah, prefer the low sheen. Love the videos. My wife and I are considering this system when we renovate the kitchen next year. Love the looks one can achieve.
I would love to see how you guys do your tile backsplash and to me, the high gloss was rocking! Thanks for sharing your content!
I preferred the high gloss much more...it helped the epoxy stand out
I really love this video, the commentator makes it sound so exciting.
Ok, I gotta say, using bonds to create the rough stone face look is genius!
I saw the thumbnail and watched the video just to see the rough stone face.
HIGH SHINE!! Awesome guys I am obsessed LOL
We appreciate the feedback my friend!
I definitely like a good high sheen, but I guess that the low sheen will make it look more realistic, even though it looks real to me. Beautiful work there.
Definitely looks better with the added veins. Thank you!
I like the matte sheen and would probably leave out the veining step. Beautiful work!
I love the the natural look of the edge very nicely done. Adding the veins gave he end result a more high end look; great call. Both the glossy and Matt finish looks great I myself prefere the glossy
Wish I was as confident as you guys to do that. Love the black metalic look..would definitely try if I was self assure
I like the high gloss look. Both are beautiful.
Yes, I'd love to see a video on doing backsplash tiles!
Awesome work. I liked the high gloss myself. Does this work as easily over old marble bathroom countertops?
I do like that edge, almost looks like the stone was broke off and laid up there, very nice!
Many thanks Beverly🙌 Have you had a chance to make rock face edge? You Got This!
