The campaign is the best way to learn the counter and what everything does. Cause it gives you situations like "Oh hey! I can just place these things and beat this easily" (proceeds to get steamrolled cause they counter that simple tactic)
Fun fact Mark: Projectiles like Arrows and spears. Hale Bales from the Farmer faction can block them. Since it has Hay as Armor. But i dont know if it can stop bullets

A while ago, TABS was going to look quite different, with competent battles between every unit. They ended up scrapping it because it made battles take too long. tl;dr They had the capability to make 1v1 fights interesting and intentionally threw it away. XD

@@cgillis3989 heh yea. Been watching and playing TABS since some of the earliest builds (Alpha, Beta, EA, etx) Big reason why Jarl is my fav too. He’s always been a powerhouse, and is amazing at demolishing armies. God I remember raging at a specific level in the early builds (Beta I think?) where there were only Jarls going down an ramp to your units. In my opinion, that was THE MOST tough level in the game. Not even the final boss, Chicken Man Man, rivalled it.

Mark, tabs is a game of rock paper scissors. i'd recommend playing through the introduction campaign and the faction campaigns, since they'll give you an excellent grasp of what the units do.
