Sherri thinking: Don't act like you screwed up. Just keep going. Gene thinking: Let's move on to Stevie Ray, and try to downplay what just happened. Stevie Ray thinking: What's my line again?
Come on book. How is that the worse day of your life bro. That was one of the rawest purest promo statement of all times. You displayed authenticity. You aint black grimey from harlem if you dont speak the lingo. Your disappointed in that yet not getting buried in wrestlemania 19. Book is the g.o.a.t to me. But this playing politically correct crap is annoying
@@RealityOfWrestling i understand booker t Huffman won't use it. But im talking bout Booker t the wrestling character. The booker t of 110th street. I dont think yah really understanding what im saying. Booker T talks about wrestling as theater correct. Booker T in that promo sounded like a tough street Harlem dude from Harlem. Why people still talk about is because of the rawness, the authenticity of the character. Im from harlem myself. So harlem cats related to the harlem heats. They played it so well Nobody thought they was from houston. So Booker cant contradict himself comparing what Huffman the person wants to do and what booker t the wrestler had to do because like he said is theater phantom of the opera. And when i bring up Wrestlemania 19. If Booker t really was into what the youth may feel or anything of that nature. Huffman wouldnt agree to get beaten by HHH knowing the seriousness of that promo. And that moment was a symbol of overcoming. But yet Booker the wrestler played his role. If you ask anyone. That lost affected more people than the N word in that promo.

Yeah that’s when my ears perked up too... like ahhh that’s the truth right there... who and who he was around was saying it all the time... so when it happened it didn’t seem out of the ordinary because it wasn’t for him... but book being on the other side of that coin was like “this can lose me my career” - hogan has never thought about losing his job for saying the nword... that’s why it didn’t register..
@@rashaanmungo6114
Neither of em really should've had to worry about such a thing. They were both so used to it that the word didn't register as anything abnormal to em.
😂 nah! 💀
I remember when Kofi tried to parody it a while back lol
It was big e not Kofi
It was E lol
Bruh that shit was funny asf 😂

Booker: Vince please don't fire me it was an honest mistake-
Vince: Don't sweat it, my nigga.
Booker:.......I know you just did not say that.
We've all had a few times when something we didn't even mean to say flew out of our mouths and had Booker's exact "oh shit!" reaction while failing miserable to put the proverbial toothpaste back in the tube. Shit happens, live rolls on, and Booker's always gonna be a legend in the wrestling world.
Great interview. I always wanted to know what Hulk Hogan felt about that moment.
It completely contradicts an old story I had heard years back, but the story I heard is that Hogan did come up to Booker T and said, "Why'd you call me the n-word?" and the Macho Man immediately shot back, "Because you are one!!" but maybe that's just a fake story
I wish Ron Simmons said that same thing Nuggah!!! 😂😂😂
DAMN NIGGA!!
*Ron Simmons voice*
Yeah, Farooq got that deep southern voice
@@rodprops This seriously got a good laugh out of me!
That footage had me laughing for days😂😂
Metooooooo
Me too , You can see Booker go super worried.like damn I messed up. But the speech was so natural and intense. It's funny as hell. Till this day 😂
0:19 WE COMIN FOR YOU......
That was the realist promo in the history of wrestling!!! I felt that shit Booker!!!!!
HH: "Train, say your n*ggas and eat your vitamins!"
LMAOO. Damn Booker is such a professional tho
I KNOW the Hulk was dying laughing his first time seeing that clip 😂😂😂😂
That clip is legendary! And not for a bad reason, booker was just so intense and in his amazing character. I love it, and I hope booker t grows to love it too
I knew watching the ppv live that he didnt mean to say and it slipped up bc the word is used so much around our culture and community.
And that's the sad part
It's used on a *MINUTEdaily basic😁.. but we have to do better.
Lmfao! Worse moment ended up best the best moment!!! Now can you dig that SUCKAAaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!
Facts
Hahahahaha 😂😎
I’ve met Hogan and Booker both. Everything I have ever heard Booker say about this and the incident where Hogan used the word himself has caused my respect for him to grow that much more.
We the fans loved it. I think it added charecter to the moment
Hogan: “it went in one ear and out the other cause I was so used to hearing it.” Hogan really meant he was so used to saying it lmao.
He was completely immersed into that promo and just kept it too 100. You can tell he regretted it immediately. I’m glad that brief lapse of judgement didn’t ruin his career.
One of the most legendary promos of all time
Talk about giving a word too much power
You must be stupid
@@ericlane2249 He's not at all
Talal egos
100% agree. People are way to sensitive
Too* sensitive
We coming for you nigga lmao that was so real and the irony with hulk hogan later in life I love it that's an amazing moment in black history
@2:54 when hogan said he was so used to hearing it . . That look they gave each other lmfaoooooo
Sherri thinking: Don't act like you screwed up. Just keep going.
Gene thinking: Let's move on to Stevie Ray, and try to downplay what just happened.
Stevie Ray thinking: What's my line again?
God bless you King Booker!
Booker was the only guy in wrestling that just played a regular black guy
You’re worst day became one of the most hilarious videos on UA-cam….You good Book lol
I think it was the funniest because 😂😂 he was so into what he was saying and so in character that he kept going, he wasn’t being mean he was being him
Come on book.
PUNSH DRUNK BOXING if you read his books or interviews booker won’t use that word in his life anymore and ashamed he use to because of its negativity
PUNSH DRUNK BOXING This type of mentality is why that word is still so loosely thrown around, sad
Imo, He held a bigger responsibility to the young black males watching at home, he knew that would always be brought up in convo
@@keysepulliam if he did. Why did he allow a promo like his and hhh to go down and agree to lose at wm19?
That was one of the funniest things ive ever seen! 😂. Respect Booker T
2:20 that’s cap
This was a hilarious moment in wrestling history. He was in the moment and went straight G.
Two 🐐🐐 and class acts with mutual
respect. Loved this.
"look, the hood came out" haha
Didn't Vince McMahon say the the n word in a segment with John Cena and booker t?
He sure did
yea and that was a bit awkward
Yep
@Jonathan McCully noooo it kinda does. For a white person to use that word is extremely derogatory and anyone who doesn’t know that is just plain stupid
One of the best episodes of bookers podcast, bring some sting next!!!

Sherri’s reaction was priceless. She was like “Oooo, baby!”
Hogan was just like welcome to the club brother!
👑King Booker is the GOAT ❤
