Booker has always proven to be one of the truly good people in wrestling throughout his time in the spotlight, but I gained even more respect for him than I already had due to the way he handled this situation. The things that Hogan said were unacceptable by any stretch of the imagination, but Booker handled it like a true gentleman. He was once given a second chance and proved to everyone that he was greater than his own mistakes, and decided to give Hogan an opportunity to do the same. If we all believed in forgiveness and second chances, the world we be a much better place.

Yo, I remember my boss was a racist at my job and no one knew until he admitted it one day after I spotted a swastika tattoo on his arm. He use to hide it with his long sleeve shirt but one day he had them rolled up. I say that to say that there some people that are really good at hiding it. Just because they are around black people or there kids are well behaved doesn't mean that they are not racist. I was shocked when I found out that he didn't like black people and he was honest enough to come out and tell me the truth when I asked him why he had that type of tattoo. He told me that he didn't like any race including black people and that white people were superior to all racist. I learned a valuable lesson that day. This isn't a situation of "oops I [Hogan] said something wrong". It's a bit deeper than that. Context is everything.
Here's what Hogan said: “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to f-k some n--r, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n--r worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player! I guess we’re all a little racist. F-king n--r.”
This is the same Hogan that "has Black friends and has children that are not racists".
If all that is true, about why he supposedly "isn't racist", then I hold him EVEN MORE ACCOUNTABLE for his words and what may or may not be going on with him on a deeper level.
Why would a man with "Black friends", who raised his kids to "not be racists" have THAT sort of reaction towards a Black man dating his daughter?
    Make that make sense.
You're pissed off at the Black man for whatever reason and the first thing you do is call him racial slurs? Why not call him a "b!tch" or an "a$$hole" or any number of derogatory terms to describe the person you're angry with?
If he's not racist then I'd also like to know what you call a person that is supposedly "not racist", yet they still used racial slurs.
Can't call it an accident, because he knew that man was Black, so he chose to call him racial slurs while he was angry.
We've all been angry, but do we all hop on the racial train whenever someone of another race pisses us off? I certainly don't.
It'd be cool if Hogan gave us answers or if he was actually questioned in a more sociological, critical thinking, unbiased level.
Missed opportunity to learn and grow.

Sadiki Akil from what I heard on kayfabe commentaries that Teddy said if he speaks to him then cool. But if he doesn’t, he doesn’t. He says that they speak to each other every now and then. Some people say that the nature boy is still a racist although African-Americans hang around him. There is one more person in the four Horsemen who is like that as well. Tully Blanchard. They even said the late Dusty Rhodes was a racist which I totally doubt that. If you read his book, he said he was around Latinos, and even African-Americans who he had as friends. I really hope that Theodore long and ric flair can mend a fence one day with each other. Booker was right. It’s how you are raised. If I said something racist, my mother and grandmother would have beaten me. Unfortunately, both of them are dead and gone.

There’s rumor and innuendo that he called Jaquelyn the N-word. But there’s one person you don’t hear about at all and only good things about him. I can see why Booker has gotten to where he is, great attitude and extremely in tune with the world. It would be much easier to throw Hogan under the bus, but instead he remembered his friend and stood by him when it wasn't popular to do so. He also relied on his own life experience on how to judge others when they make mistakes. That's called loyalty and real friendship, something that rarely exists anymore in the keyboard/social justice warrior age. Big props to Booker and Hulk also for manning up a bit on this.

This was a great video. I am so glad to see that Hogan did get the chance to clear the air, so to speak. I never once thought of him as a racist. In fact, at this point there is no one that I think of as a racist because we are all humans and are thus all part of one, very large, human race. I have personally interacted with a great many of the various ethnic groups that comprise our human race, and have enjoyed all of those opportunities a great deal. I think that this is what I like about the WWE, and I think prowrestling as a whole. They have tried to include as many different parts of the human race as possible, and that's why I have enjoyed watching it for so long. One person crying "racism" could conceivably end the whole thing, and all because the person who made the accusation forgot that we are all one race. I pray that never happens. Thanks for posting this video.

I'm sorry but plenty of former Black wrestlers have come out and stated how racist World Wrestling Entertainment and it's competitors were behind the scenes. Ahmad Johnson in particular went in on Vince and his executives for how bigoted they were. Even Bookers on brother Stevie came out about how jacked up it's been for Black wrestlers. Booker T and Mark Henry towed the company line through all of the accusations of racism. Booker is one of those Black men who would apologize for being Black if it made his White friends more comfortable. I don't know what's in Hogan's heart, but the top WWE wrestlers, along with Vince and his executives, have ALWAYS been a "good ol boys" club. Hogan was a part of that club for the majority of his career.

Well, in the audio, Hogan, in his own words, said he was a racist. He didn't slip with the word, he used it multiple times very casually and said "if we are going to f*ck with N's let's get a rich one". It wasn't said in anger or anything. When people show you who they are, believe them the first time.
