One Life to Live - November 15, 1990? (Incomplete)

Well, with the St. Patrick's #Llanview Banners out of the way, we're gonna head over to the fading days of the first #TourofLlanview era (1984-91). Remember when so many characters from those days were getting recast. One of them well known was the role of Tina (recast with Karen Witter). Well, here is an [incomplete] eppie from those days. Sorry for the crappy quality.

I wasn't the biggest fan of Tina (Karen Witter's version), but it feels like the show has a real hole in it after the late, great Andrea Evans left earlier that year due to her terrifying real life run-in with a st@lker. It's not so much Tina the character I miss, but how Andrea played her. (Fun fact: Karen Witter went on to marry & divorce legendary sitcom showrunner Chuck Lorre in real life. These days, she's a bestselling self-help author & life coach after she retired from acting.) Thanks once again for taking us on another nostalgic trip down Llanview memory lane, as well as revisiting what was left of the Paul Rauch era before transitioning into the Linda Gottlieb era! 👍🏻 I have a personally random question for you. What are your thoughts on the rumors that CBS could possibly cancel #TheTalk to make room for #TheGates?

Wow! That was one interesting fact. Never really seen a lot of Karen Witter as Tina as I've known Andrea Evans' portrayal way more. Thanks for the fun fact and Thanks for watching.
You know, I'm going to be honest with you. As much as I like talk shows like "The Talk" (And as much as I pray for Jesse Spencer to get one of his own), I prefer that CBS Daytime was based more on the work of the Daytime dramas. I believe that the soaps were well known than talk shows. I wouldn't be surprised if "The Talk" was axed for "The Gates".

@@EdwynNSanchez Karen Witter (Karen Lorre) is on youtube and uploads videos all the time. The Andrea Evans' st@lker was a really nice guy that just went about getting attention the wrong way from Tina. He just did funny and a little crazy things to get her attention and she overreacted all the time. Tina often tested him returning fan mail back to him with your bikini pictures and he got the wrong idea. Now all the OLTL fans hate him because they think he was a st@lker when in reality he was just what is known as a "super fan" today. Just to be clean, Andrea ran away from OLTL for 18 years. Her #1 fan didn't make her leave. She was just too scared of his ways of getting her attention in front of the ABC studios in NY and she didn't like the way he play acted when writing her letters. And one last point is the so called "st@lker" was not interested in Andrea or Karen. He was interested in TINA but nobody seed to understand that. To this very day he is still obsessed with Tina and that will never go away. Andrea was so into herself that she couldn't understand she was not Tina. Karen Witter is so much nicer than Andrea as a person. She is down to earth and will talk to you on youtube. If Andrea was still around she would never give anyone the time of day like Karen does.
