  • Our #SoapOperaMemoryLane lineup continues here with the last of what I have from the days when the #TourofLlanview era was beginning to fade away. I apologize as usual for the useless quality of it.
    COMING SOON:
We will continue with our #Llanview detours very soon. It will take time, but we will get there. Stay tuned.

To be honest with you, LeeAnn Demerest was a total "hot mess." She was like the younger, watered-down version of Blair long before Kassie DePaiva joined the cast, even though Mia Korf was playing Blair at the time when Blair was Asian, but that's another story. During her two years in Llanview, LeeAnn was paired with Max, Kevin & Jason. I just could never warm up to her. Maybe I would have rooted for her down the road. If Yasmine Bleeth didn't walk away from the show to join #Baywatch, then LeeAnn being a Lord/Buchanan baby mama probably would have stuck around for years. Good for her. The Linda Gottlieb/Michael Malone era was off to a good start. Thanks once again for taking us on another nostalgic trip down Llanview memory lane! 👍🏻 Speaking of which, I have a personally special question for you. What does the legacy of #OLTL mean to you more than a decade after it went off the air?

In my opinion, I think Yasmine Bleeth's soap characters never got a lot of recognition, especially her portrayal of Ryan Fenelli on RH. But I can tell you she is one hell of an actress. Didn't binge watch a lot of Baywatch even though I'm TRULY a fan of some of the actors from there (I only learned about it when I heard about Pamela Anderson), but what can I say?! Thank you for enjoying and I hope you can check out the latest vids of this magnificent soap.
As always, ONLY ONE question on ONLY ONE video, even though I'm posting more stuff as often. Anyways, to answer your good question: To me, "One Life"'s legacy has meant A LOT to me. And I speak as a lad who did not know anything about American soap operas until he was in either in his last days in Elementary or in his very early days of Middle School. Just being able to share what is left of it's history makes me realize that #OLTL has make me appreciate life more, especially since the show's title is a TRUE fact. We ONLY have ONE LIFE TO LIVE!
