You know he means characters like wolverine, cyclops, jean and others. Storm is a nice touch but people want more core non legacy X-Men in crossovers, not just Storm

Cyclops is great because he is perfect for this genre. He can roll around, blast around, fire a beam, fire a bigger beam, bounce the beam, infinite complexity.

With tons of heroes they can potentially add and it seems they got the IP. Pretty sure Marvel will get a good cut. They will definitely be selling other heroes. And they probably just have spiderman available to lure alot of players. but other popular ones where alot will definitely buy. Deadpool, Wolverine, Blade, Ant Man (oh wow if they have ant-man and you can actually go small as an advantage to not being hit etc). Thor, Captain America. Let's see what it really is on Beta.

I love that Marvel is creating these different games in these different genres. We’ve got Wolverine, Blade, Marvel 1943, and Rivals coming out. Could these flip? Sure. But I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for any of these games.
Yeah I'm really excited too but then again I got to keep my excitement low because with these games coming better be sure they'll be buggy and messy when they first come out and I may have to wait before they get them fix.
I really, really want Blade to be fantastic. Partly because I'm very much afraid for Arkane Studios' future 😢

@@CalamityCain Arkane Austin is the one with the questionable track record. Arkane Lyon has the better track record and ate the ones developing Blade so I trust them with Blade.
@@OzoneGamerStation Yeah, but before Redfall, they made Prey, which I loved. And the last game out of Lyons was Deathloop, right? Which I only found "good" - but that's just my two cents. And I honestly don't expect the vast majority of players to know the difference between Austin and Lyons, Arkane-wise. Their reputation is definitely tarnished, I'd wager. I love both Arkane and Blade, but so far we only got a teaser and some concept art. Fingers crossed, for sure :-)
On a potentially happier note: Austin _are_ hiring and apparently it's for a single player game, tagged for immersive. Here's hoping they get - and more importantly _excel_ at - another chance ✌

I actually love Marvel games strategy of giving different developers and publishers the rights to make different types of marvel games not everything is going to a huge hit like insomniacs Spider-Man games but atleast he get a variety of games like Eidos Montreals underrated Guardians of the Galaxy game, and firaxis games midnight suns that have their fans as well and sure we get flops like square enixs Avengers game but we also get surprises like marvel snap thats really great
And Marvel's not done yet they're really cooking with the upcoming Iron Man solo game the Black Panther solo game and the Captain America and Black Panther game coming but I wish I could say the same for DC and with Suicide Squad be in the Flop I don't know if they'll keep going in the gaming division. I'm just glad I got to see my number one hero which is Batman got the same treatment like Spider-Man.
Fun Fact Hulk can fire gamma vision which should be included as he has been able to do it in two separate occasions.

it is actually what it's like. the game was surprisingly fun but not well balanced. my main concern is the mtx. we were actually able to earn the currency but I doubt it will be that way when it launches. each skin was like 1500. so knowing ftp games its probably 15 dollars. some skins were cool others just recolored. but none worth 15 dollars if that ends up being the case lmao

@expressrobkill no I'm not Marty mcfly unfortunately, I just play tested the pc alpha like 5 days ago. and there is actually alot already finished. the alpha just ended the day before they officially announced it. they actually didn't even tell us it was going to be announced so soon.

Hopefully this is free to play. Actually would be down for a fun marvel pvp game. Unfortunately this looks like it still needs a lot of work. Maps are barren and weirdly unpolished besides the character models. Also hard to keep track of whats actually happening sometimes.
Around the end, it does say sign up for the Alpha, so you're right. It's definitely not finished. I already looks good to a certain degree. Looking forward to seeing the final version of it.

I wouldn't mind actually paying a decent entry price if that means there's no nickel and diming going on later. Only reason I originally got Overwatch was because I didn't expect lootboxes/paid skins.

We all know the best heroes will be paywalled, then they'll be nerfed. But then the new heroes of the next season will be paywalled and over powered until they're nerfed at the end of the season. And so on and so on.

The game has a unique style that does look appealing, but I won’t be interested in it outside of some gameplay and design choices for Marvel characters. If it is successful past the first month, it will definitely be making some DIRTY money off skins or progression boosters. Interestingly, a non-insignificant amount of Overwatch’s popularity came from certain suggestive ideas of characters (Battleborn actually tried to get the community to make explicit content to keep the game alive). Whether Disney would let that kind of thing happen to their characters is a pretty funny thing to think about.

Frankly all the obscure pulls gives me hope for this. No one who doesnt care about marvel would pull in Peni of all characters, and she isnt even close to the most obscure one (now, thanks to spiderverse)

I'm just mad that it took this long for Hulk to be able to transform in gameplay like seriously I don't think people know how insane that is as someone who's played about every Marvel Game in existence there have only ever been one other game that's done that, that being Lego Marvel. I just want a Hulk game that has all the stuff to make it definitive and the closest I'll ever get to that I guess is now this. and on my Birthday this get's announced no less it almost feels like a taunt.
I guess it's because there's not really any reason to be Bruce Banner. Like why give you the ability to become less powerful for no reason? That's my thinking, at least.
Yeah I love that bruce banner is respected enough to be a playable character in this game since he has been sidelined in the mcu
@@Heyesy I mean I've heard that thought from a lot of people but my thing is like in an open world like game why diminish what makes Hulk unique? like let us have control of the transformation whenever we want, it's a cool and unique trait that sets him apart from literally every other Tank or Brawler in anything else. He isn't just a Tank. there's a lot that Hulk/Banner can do beyond just punch and sponge damage. and there's plenty of games that allow morphing or transformations like in Skyrim or in Prototype or like I said Lego. There hasn't been a Hulk game since 2008 and the last good one was 2005's Ultimate Destruction. Beyond that he's barely been allowed in anything besides Mobile Games which pretty much have all been D-listed. The most recent Games we got with him have all but flopped *Cough* Marvel's Avengers *Cough*, Midnight Suns was okay I guess, for a card game it was far more enticing than Marvel SNAP but that's about it. Ultimate Alliance 1-2 are D-listed and 3 is a Switch exclusive so not much to say there. It honestly sucks to be a Hulk fan these days, I mean we can't have 1 single solo movie, no show, no animated series (no good one since 1996) and no games. At least the Comics are good but that's literally all we got now.
but control is exactly the thing hulk doesnt have. he doesnt choose when to become hulk or banner. unless its the boring version. i can hardly imagine a spiderman ps4 type of game where bruce has solid control and decides to become bruce so he can press some buttons or get through a city square without drawing attention, only to then turn into hulk to scale a wall and beat some cyborgs
@@kallemetsahalme5701 I think you're missing the point. Having the ability to transform from Banner to Hulk would be a never ending spectacle with near endless possibilities in an open world setting. Think of it like this, you remember that scene from Avengers when Banner said "I'm Always Angry"? then proceeds to one punch a charging Leviathan? or what about in Incredible Hulk when he jumped out of a Helicopter and fell straight through the concrete then emerged as the Hulk ready to charge at Abomination. or even all the Hulk outs in the cartoons, I'm telling you that would never get boring especially if done right in a Big Open World with plenty of things to do and places to go from under ground to the high stratosphere or even extend to deep space somehow. Hulk has been to many places in his solo comic runs I guarantee you there is a great fun way to fully realize his potential without having to nerf him severely. I could think of countless ways to make the greatest Hulk game that does all that and more and to simplify the balance here's what you do, you give Hulk a rage meter/gauge that will increase or decrease his stats making him completely accurate to how his powers work since it all depends on his anger. So imagine his rage reaches a certain point were he cannot be moved or rag dolled by certain things and his attacks carry a bigger aera of effect then before along with his movements being far faster and more impactful. At Max Rage he could use his Critical Attacks like from Ultimate Destruction as well as go World Breaker for Max Stat Boost and one Critical attack which can cover the entire map and afterwards bring him back to base levels. As Banner I imagine him playing very similar to the likes of a GTA like character which again can make for a very immersive experience. As for the story I would want a branching path that has multiple endings depending on you're morality with a karma system similar to Infamous or Web of Shadows or even Shadow The Hedgehog, Hulk/Banner is a morally gray character at times and has been shown he can go either way so to have such a multi-layered story with all this in mind I think automatically this would make for the best Hulk Game or even best Superhero game ever made
If the game is for free, has all the characters unlocked, and only MTX are the microtransactions, then this could work really well.
the game is free that is a fact but for the charactars they gonna do them like some other games like valorant/apex etc.... where you have to buy them with ingame currency

I think that is a mistake if they truly want to beat Overwatch 2. Marvel characters will sell their own MTX easily. Though this is also me being optimistic about Marvel, because besides Marvel Snap, they really haven't been consumer friendly.
