I've been following the channel for about 2 years and been a fan of Montes since the late 2000 via Golfwrx. These partnership videos are excellent and this is the best one yet.
love your videos so well explained...1 question how to I keep my hear and upper body behind the ball at impact...I tend to slide forward leading me to either a big push or over draw
Great stuff. It's funny to see righties struggling with anything leftie for a change. As most Canadians, I'm right handed in life but left handed at golf so after consuming mountains of golf technique books and videos for years it has become totally transparent and automatic but it's definitely not easy at first. It definitely would help use more relative terms like "front arm", "back leg", etc.. instead of absolutes (left/right). I'm not a beginner but this is still a worthwhile checklist. Plus my girlfriend wants to start playing so it will come in handy. Keep up the excellent work,
BE BETTER GOLF There are still a majority of righties but I'm assuming it's because a lot of us grew up playing hockey and shooting left so it just happens to be a more natural transition. 6 of my golf buddies are lefties which would be rare anywhere else in the world.
Hey again! Let me tell you.. i am a "beginner" now and for the past 10 years! :) I really enjoy EVERYTHING about golf. Many thanks to the both of you for the GREAT introduction/lesson/ refresher. I was in the 100's losing about 5 golf balls, rut central. now (since watching your videos, especially "lag is irrelevant") i am shooting in the 90's loosing 2 golf balls! My buddy tells me he is noticing a nice difference. I can go on and on.... Thanks!
Hey im left handed, please could you upload the same video in the normal view, it would be much appreciated, i'm sure other leftys will be watching too, thanks if this is possible if not no problrm!
Seems somewhat ironic that there would be two ads for Tathata Golf embedded in video. I might be wrong, but it seems that Tathata Golf is completely opposite of what Monte is teaching.
What the hell was that sound at 8:25? lol The host is doing what a lot of students do, which is a big no-no, and that's to suggest things that he should do, instead of doing what your teacher says.
He is right hand swinger and in this video he is learning to play left handed. He rotate (flip) the video so it looks like he is right handed but he isn't. On 8:25 he line up as he would be hitting it normal.. with right hand, stood up and laugh at it.
Those people that are learning tonight and playing tomorrow should cancel until they hit 25 buckets on the range. Most have no concept of ‘pace of play’ and totally plug up the works for everyone. Apologies for sounding pompous but it pisses me off when someone’s out there clueless jambing it all up. 10 practice swings then hit the ball 15 yards sideways. Learn on the range! Not to mention the clueless etiquette people who are seen parking the carts 2 feet off the green, not fixing ball marks, ect ect.
No it is not. The game is not a joy. I have struggled 20 years. I have quit the game as I am worse now then I was before when I began. Thanks for all the info but. I am done.

thanks if this is possible if not no problrm!
The grip part is a little confusing. So make both pointing towards the right shoulder or back shoulder for the right hand player?
