    I lost my sense of smell in 1985 in LA after having the flu. I didn't even know until one day a decade later, I suddenly smelled cut green grass, which I always smelled as a child. Unfortunately, it only lasted a few seconds 😢. I can smell sulfur dioxide and perfume at 20x amount, but not the subtle smells in it.

    Hi, Dr. Lynch. My adopted daughter had at age 19 what seemed like a light case of covid in October 2020 but lost and still has not regained her sense of smell and taste. Sandra reminded me that her sense of smell and taste wasn't great before that, probably due to fetal/early childhood neglect and/or fetal alcohol type brain damage. Do you think this protocol would help her, in light of those additional challenges?
    Thank you for these informative videos!

    Hi Dr Lynch! You have been our hero so many times over, we thank God for you!
    My sister, 2 nieces and myself all loss sense of taste and smell after Covid. We have started your Vit A/ zinc regimen and it didn’t help to much, so just ordered the PQQ to hopefully make the difference. We all have slight recovery but still weird smells and not proper taste in all foods.
    We all also experienced massive hair loss post Covid, about 3 months post. Every time I brushed or washed my hair it looked like I was going through chemotherapy. I ordered everyone the Folinic Acid B12 combo, after taking for 2 weeks my hair has stopped falling out!!! Want to encourage everyone it works!!!

    Thank you so much for getting this info out to people. I have been helped by you tremendously in recovering from sibo.You mentioned taking pqq up to 3 times a day if needed. How do you determine how often? I have lost my taste and smell since getting covid at the the beginning of the year even though i take recommended amounts of vitamin A in the form of cod liver oil and zinc . I also take NAC but loss of smell still persists after 4 months. Since taking pqq my insomnia has greatly improved from severe insomnia to now easily falling asleep but still I'm waking up at 3am every day and struggling to get back to sleep. NAC may be better yes - or the PQQ Lozenge. But use what you have. If the NAC isn't enough, then I'd lean towards adding PQQ Lozenge and perhaps your zinc supplement is trash. Zinc supplements are not created equal.

      Clogged ears, tinnitus, even hearing loss, as well as headache has often been mentioned in those with omicron. The virus can enter and infect cells in the ear canal causing inflammation as the immune system tries to attack the invading virus.

      yep - it's key. any infection wipes out some nutrients which then harms other areas of the body. and some infections target certain genes harder which make things even harder to overcome. definitely try the PQQ Lozenge and be sure you have a solid multivitamin in there as well like Multivitamin One.

      Get yourself an active B12 test. Loss of taste and smell is an early sign of B12 deficiency. And bare in mind that the minimum limit is set far too low. In Japan the minimum serum B12 level is 500, in the UK its just 110. At 110 you feel at deaths door.

    I had *it* about a year ago- along with a secondary bacterial sinus infection- and loss my sense of smell and taste for a couple weeks or so, when they started coming back, most things tasted and smelled bad/wrong for months (lots of things all had the same rotten smell). It sucked. Things are mostly back to normal now, but every now and then I’ll notice some things still have that off smell. (For example, sometimes bananas are ok but other times they still taste and smell terrible.) My question is, what kind of protocol of PQQ and/or glutathione should I try- since it’s been so long since the initial viral infection that caused this damage? I want to fix my brain! (I also experienced severe anxiety and panic attacks when I was sick, so hearing that too much glutathione may cause anxiety makes me a bit nervous to try it.) Appreciate your time!

    PQQ is super expensive , studies say 100x better than vitamin C, but compare 20 mg pqq with 2000 mg vit c (100x more), but I pay 15-20 dollar for 1.000.000 MG = 1 KG of vitamin C or 500 doses of 2 gram (2000 mg)... I checked for import from China, but some are super cheap or fake as they quote 200$ for 100 grams, and what do you get from a bottle? 20 mg x 60 = 1.2 gram (1200 mg) for 30$++ ???

    • @DrBenLynch
      @DrBenLynch  2 роки тому

      comparing PQQ to vitamin C based on just taking more C is not how it works. Actually, vitamin C in high amounts acts as a PROoxidant - not an antioxidant. So you'd not only be stuck on the toilet using that much C but you'd also be blasting your cells and oxidizing them.
