Excellent video, I have been interested in health ever since losing both parents in 1977 & 1980. I worked at GNC vitamin store back in 1984 for a year. We had to take a 500-question test, back then. It seems like when you go to a vitamin store, if you can find one, they know very little. You did a great job in your live chat. People need to start taking care of their health instead of being brainwashed with all these test and shots. I haven't had any shots for over 50 years.
Me too! Lost it with a cold/flu? Covid test was negative. Happened nearly a month ago and literally no smell/taste whatsoever since. Did you get yours back? If not how long has it been if I may ask?
If you are vitamin D deficient, it typically takes MONTHS to get back to normal levels. Taking Vit D as you are feeling symptoms is too little too late. Be proactive.
I take 5,000 iu every single day and my recent bloodwork showed the level of 47. My husband takes Vit D maybe 3 times a week (when he remembers), same dosage 5000 iu, and his bloodwork showed a level of 97. Crazy.
Low magnesium levels cause low vitamin D. Personally I would get my magnesium status up first. We stopped taking vitamin D six or seven years ago and when tested, our levels are still good. We take magnesium 2 or 3 times a day, use magnesium lotion and eat food rich with magnesium.

Brownstein's books are available at discounts when ordering multiple titles, direct from his website, just FYI.

Its impossible to get adequate iodine from iodized salt. Check out Dr. Brownstein's book on iodine as well as Lynne Farrows book " the iodine crisis, what you dont know can wreck your life" her book goes into the iodized salt myth. Best source is kelp or Iodoral, the pill form.

Mike, many who caught the virus are also reporting a sudden onset of tinnitus. I’d love to hear your thoughts about why this could be happening and ways to ameliorate it. Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
I have not heard that, but have suspected this new symptom to be related to the rona. No big deal, some days it is worse than others. I would like to hear some information that gives a biological cause of tinnitus. My inkling is that it is somehow just inflammatory damage. My doc just told me to use fluticasone nasal spray to decrease inflammation in the inner ear through paranasal passages. I tried it. It didn't have longterm effectiveness.

I've been using it in spray bottle (10 - 30 ppm) for years. For those who want to delve further, two valuable sources for iodine education are 1) David Brownstein, MD's book, 'Iodine: Why You Need It, Why You Can't Live Without It' ; 2) Lynne Farrow's book (with a Foreword by David Brownstein, MD), 'The Iodine Crisis'. Brownstein's books are available at discounts when ordering multiple titles, direct from his website, just FYI.
I take nano technology iodine ever day under my tongue from Upgraded Formulas!! Unbelievable and amazingly no taste! Also I do red light from EMR-tek, drink structured water (by structuring with my Firewave, using the infrared middle bulb) and then use the Speriti lamp for my vitamin D. Now I'm starting cold therapy and grounding! Dam I feel amazing and still no cold and haven't had one for at least 10 or 15 years!! Great podcast Mike!! Thank you! Oh and forgot to mention 55 years old and thriving as a carnivore!!
Are cheap red light Therapy lights for the nose just as good as the expensive? How to tell quality from less than quality products?
Our family just got sick so this is very helpful thank you!!
Thanks Mike for all the great information.
Well, this makes sense. I use Zinc daily, Iodine via my salt daily, and red light therapy twice daily. Those who know, know.
@@reneegossage8609 I'll look into it. But I eat 7 meals a day all with salt and since adding iodized salt,(Thanks stan efferding) notice a difference.
Excellent advise, I have not had a cold in years and take my vitamins every day. My recipe to avoid colds is to apply vicks in the nostrils in the morning if you are going to be around a group of people and before going to bed to breathe better as you sleep
This video is excellent.
Great information
I haven't had a cold or flu since i retired 5 years ago. However, I now take Vit C, Bcomplex, Omega 3 6 9 and zinc daily and feel okay. I like your channel and have learned a lot.
You're missing the most important- vitamin D (min. 4,000 iu daily)
A couple of things that I've learnt recently regarding Zinc supplementation is to have it on an empty stomach and to take Copper with it too
Any suggestions on which copper supplement to take with it?
@@Mit-hk9uw I like the mint flavored chlorophyll. I use liquid chlorophyll to supplement copper and for other reasons.
I only use the zinc supplements that you dissolve in your mouth and I lie on my back so it coats my throat.
I vomit when i take zinc on empty stomach. I was taking solgar 50mg
@@itsagoodday2165 that’s why most bottles say take with food.
i have no idea how this person learned this or what. but when i’ve taken it on an empty stomach, the end result is nausea, not unlike takin a b complex on an empty stomach.
just there’s a lot less yellow in the puke
Thank you so much for this!! I lost my smell after a cold this past Christmas and I still don’t have it back. I’m a coffee lover and luckily I still love the taste of it but I can’t smell it. Will start with the zinc then maybe invest in the red light
Since I moved to the Pacific Northwest I have and a 2 maybe 3 times. That has been 25 years ago. I am taking more vitamins and sleeping with the window open all night. In the winter I shut it but leave a crack opened..
Thank you! Caught a cold that was mostly just annoying almost 3 weeks ago and lost taste and smell 6 days in on Christmas day. Taste came back pretty rapidly and have probably 95% at this point but smell has been much slower and I have probably 10-20% depending on the smell. I have been doing my anti-inflammatory smoothies and some chamomile and ginger tea which all seems to help but am hoping this will help speed the process. Thank you again!
thank you. lots of good info. I'm in Commie-fornia ( for now )
I did hydrogen peroxide nebulized for the smell/taste and it seems to have worked in about 3 days.
It seems to work? That tells me it doesn't work...
Nebulised hydrogen peroxide with iodine definitely works
@timshel Leo - Rather, it more likely means that: . My problem went away in 3 days and it could have been due to the peroxide, or it could have been due to a broad combination of factors that are difficult to sort out.
@@heliocentric9971 yes, thank you... That's exactly what I meant.
Where can I find hydrogen peroxyde ?
Thank you!
I have been enjoying your videos and I have to say this one was both very informative and delightful with all of the amusing disclaimers!
Thank you so much!
Great job
I couldn’t drink coffee for a few weeks after delta virus. But now coffee and I are good friends again.
Thank you Mike for your great nutrition advice. during covid or any flu season I just snort salt water up my nose. I add a touch of baking sofa as well so that it doesn’t burn.
I have done all this and it works!! Thanks!
Thank you Mike!! This video came out right on time!!
This is 50% truth bombs / 50% standup comedy 🤣 You know “The Cold” 😅😅 gawd damn, the times we live in broskis.. odd times indeed! Still havent had “The Cold” yet.. my moms havent either. And we’re out and about all the time. I didnt get “The Poke” either..
Mike! I reccomend looking into “molecular iodine”. Superior potency and no risk of toxicity for the thyroid.
Herpes total cure thanksgiving to #Doctorojie Channel for helping me cure my herpes
I like the light therapy ideas. Only because I can't get sunlight for 6 months out of a year. Otherwise I would just rely on sun to stimulate mitochondria.
Yes!!! Same where I am…”surge” in the supposed CV bug…and my whole family but one got a suspicious URI. Implemented our whole arsenal of immune boost remedies…
Something to consider also - get a nice hot shower & put on some clean clothes, and a fresh set of bed sheets & pillow cases each night. Don’t get too bogged down in ‘flu world’ in pyjamas, gross sheets, & sweaty hair. Cleaning yourself up speeds recovery - it’s a mental thing.
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Honest explanations and treatments. When I asked my Doctor for this kind of information she completely shut me down. Thank you
The average 'doctor' is in the business of keeping you sick.
@@craigphillips6308 that makes me sad.
Please change doc
Some doctors are some of the biggest gaslighters out there 🤢
I take a sea kelp supplement for iodine during the winter and find it's a great natural alternative to taking iodine sublingually
I agree with you, kelp is a great iodine supplement. I love the taste of the bull kelp by Harmonic Arts which is harvested from the West Coast of Canada.
Dr. Greger said we shouldn't eat kelp because it's way too high in iodine - that's when I decided it was the perfect supplement for me.
Thanks for all you share! ✨ taking notes as I’m recovering from a stubborn one
I've been treating colds & infections, naturally, for 21yrs-- No.1 remedy liquid Sovereign Silver (2 dropper fulls after B-fast, hold under tongue 1 min.)/ 2. NAC/ 3. Olive Leaf Ex./ 3. Selenium & Copper from Beef/ 4. Garlic/ 5. Fast for 16 hr every night, until you feel better.
Thanks for the great information. From upstate NY and regularly watch your videos all of the time.
Love your videos Mike, very useful information. Thanks
Very informative video. I wonder can you use this solution in a neti pot?
Great GREAT video!!! Thank you!!!
Mike is saltier then the nasal rinse he’s recommending here 🤣🤣🤣 nah totally kidding! Great video! I talk about your videos with my sister all the time. Thank you for all the great content. ☺️
Great. Love your transparency. It's an odd correlation but how I feel is proportional to the cost of my urine.
Excellent info. Thanks brother.
You are amazing - love your excellent solutions for our immune systems, thank you! God Bless!
Thank you for the helpful information! I love the health related information backed by science. I shared the video with friends! Thanks again!
I take mushroom defense along with D , zinc and an icelandic kelp supplement. I get a couple of sniffles once in awhile, that's it. I'm 51 and still muscular to boot.
Connected to this, please do a video on emphysema and fasting, dietary, supplements and other protocols to regenerate lung tissue
Awesome video, made me subscribe
Thank you so much for your health advise and being bold to share the Truth and make an impact for the greater good
Thanks for all his information! I have several carts with items in them now 😜
Mike, many who caught the virus are also reporting a sudden onset of tinnitus.
I tried it. It didn't have longterm effectiveness.
i have only heard of people getting tinnitus from jabberwacky

Sue, sounds like a good enema would take care of that mischmasch right away. Perhaps you could use one?
This was great content. Very informative. Thanks so much. I have had several concussions. I had a short loss of taste, but really interested in the photo redlight modulation. Super interesting.
Thank you for sharing this to us, it helps a lot.
Zinc and Iodine are on my daily regiment. Navage is my go to for my sinus
I think Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer uses the red light therapy!
Mike, how do you feel about using Bee Propolis in a similar way to using Iodine?
ah yes the 'cold'. Good video, thank you
Thoughts on potential utility of of Colloidal silver for cold prevention and treatment? Dosage?
I've been treating colds & infections, naturally, for 21yrs-- No.1 remedy liquid Sovereign Silver (2 dropper fulls after B-fast, hold under tongue 1 min.)/ 2. NAC/ 3. Olive Leaf Ex./ 3. Selenium & Copper from Beef/ 4. Garlic/ 5. Fast for 16 hr every night, until you feel better.
@@jeffzoda6231 wow, thanks Jeff! I’ll give it a try.
I've been using it in spray bottle (10 - 30 ppm) for years. When I may have been exposed to any germs or feel even the slightest throat twinge, I spray 2-3 times toward back of throat while inhaling lightly, then swallow. I have nursed multiple family members through all phases of pandemic iterations and have not been ill myself. Knock on wood. :) Colloidal silver is an excellent tool in your arsenal.
Just don't take colloidal silver like a daily vitamin all the time. I mean, you'd have to go hog on the stuff for years but there was this one guy nicknamed Papa Smurf if you're in the mood for a scare. I learned about him in a physiology class.
