Absolutely!! 100%!! I was having such trouble with loose powder. I can’t use Huda or Givenchy. They just make my under eyes look dry and she suggested By Terry for me and that powder has been an absolute game changer for me! She absolutely knows what she is talking about!!

And I couldn’t agree more with another commenter in saying this is the difference between an influencer (which I couldn’t care less about) and a skilled and experienced working make up artist sharing her knowledge and tips and tricks with us. I’m thrilled I came upon your channel even if my wallet isn’t 😆. Finally got my ring after 19 years together so hopefully next spring I will have my small get together and make things official. Please don’t judge as life can have some serious twists and turns and it had nothing to do with lack of love but more of setting up our life and there’s no right or wrong time line for anything in life.

The comment about the lashes! Spot on! The ONE regret I have about my makeup was my lash size! They were just too big for my eyes but my artist insisted they were a great lash. (Also never wore fake lashes prior)
The entire time taking pictures my photographer kept saying “open your eyes, open your eyes” meanwhile I felt like I had them open, too open lol
In a few pictures my eyes look lazy. Also, in some pictures I feel like I don’t even look like myself. It completely changed my eye shape. Brides! Definitely take that into consideration or at least do a trail with the lashes too
My fiancé and I are just beginning to plan our wedding for spring 2025, so this video is perfect!! 🥹😍 Side note- I’m SO GLAD you posted last week’s dry skin video! I bought d’Alba’s double serum and cream on sale, and my super dry skin just drinks it up. That and deciding to shave my face (also recommended by you!) has been a GAME CHANGER for how my makeup lays 🙏😍🙏

I did a (very) simplified 😅version of the eye look a while ago and it came out really pretty, but I am going to try again with Nikki's tips, I am sure it will turn out even better!
Totally agree, I love the Huda Beauty concealer, it's luminous on my skin and I just love it! I added Haus Labs white foundation to Huda's Cherry Blossom corrector(it was a little dark for me, so I lightened it a little) and then follow also with Vanilla Swirl for a great concealer!
I want to look like this everyday, not just my wedding day! 😅

Hey Nikki! I think you're the most wonderful person and such an understanding and helpful makeup artist. I hope this question doesn't come across as impolite, but could you please show us some makeup looks that include slightly different blush placements, eyeliner angles etc? Sometimes I feel like all I see online is snatched contour and winged liner. There must be more options than just this? If love to see what suits other face shapes and features

Nikki this is great! Would you be game to do bridal looks for the other seasons as well? Living in Florida the most comfortable season is more fall and winter and those are the seasons I have in mind when I get married. There aren’t many tutorials for other seasons. I know Spring is the most popular time but there are also brides to be that want to take advantage of more “off season” wedding packages.

I've been loving the buildabrow brow pen so much. I really like that it doesn't ooze out inky like the nyx ones and it's sheerish like my blonde red eyebrows. The warm blonde shade works awesome with my red hair too and it's never easy for me to find a good shade.

Nikki I know this might be alot in editing but can you put on screen what's your shade in each products as you use them for skin tone reference or if someone wants to buy the same products. Thanks so much, love the video! Currently you are the only makeup tutorial channel I watch. Your tutorials are the only ones I can stand to watch idk why❤. I would research a product by checking different channels but just sitting and watching videos one after the other; only your channel doesn't stress me out for some reason. I think because your channel isn't about bashing anyone it's just about frank direct convos on the products and its effectiveness.

Using CT Hollywood Flawless Filter to bridge the gap between the an almost blended out concealer and bronzer is brilliant. Normally I would apply that either at the beginning or at the end. But your suggestion makes complete sense. Definitely trying this tomorrow!

I love this look!! I am trying to start my makeup artist career, but sometimes I get discouraged because I feel like I cannot do an eyeshadow look to save my life. I sometimes feel like I can’t be a successful MUA if I can’t create eye looks like this. I feel like my base makeup is great!

An Indian going to be bride, found this very useful. Specially Cz indian wedding is practically very long, in hot climate.
Love this Nikki! I am NOT a makeup artist but against my recommendation my friend (who doesn’t really wear a lot of makeup ever) is insistent that I do her makeup for her wedding. She said she would buy whatever products I suggest but I don’t want to make her go out and buy a bunch of high end products. If you could recreate this look or do just another tutorial in general of purely drug store affordable options I would be so grateful! I feel like I’m in Nikki College trying to soak up every tip and bit I can to do her makeup!
Most of the bridal "MUAs" I see on Instagram are awful (sorry). They epitomise every reason I chose to do my own makeup on my big day. They don't even factor in that the person will (most probably) be wearing white.. while they're literally using half a bottle of mismatched foundation on them...
There's no nuance and beautiful application, just a whole lot of slapping as much stuff on as humanly possible and "sharpening up" (correcting mistakes) by rubbing with face wipes.. and every bride looks the same.. no attention to individual style preferences, age of client, skin type etc...
It's great that there's so much choice out there, but with that has clearly come the issue of sub-par work... 😒💜💔💜
