With my mature combo oily skin, its so challenging to find satin finish products. I dont like the look/feel of radiant, dewy, glowy etc . And i dont powder to avoid cakiness on my finely textured skin. Would be so happy to see a video on satin finish complexion products. Thank u for all work u do on videos!
I agree. I feel like there is an over-abundance of “glowy” products. What about us oily/combo consumers who are looking for satin/matte?

I agree to me packaging aesthetic makes up the 5% value of the product to me, like what’s the point of having a beautiful packaging, packaging is just an extra, most important the packaging is hygienic and practical

I have it and love it! Mature, dry under eyes. When I use it with the Milk hydrogrip primer, it performs a bit better

Yes! Yummy Skin concealer works like magic under my eyes. The best concealer I’ve tried (and I’ve tried ND Hyglam and tower 28).

Hi Nikki, well you just answered my question. Lol. Good timing. I'm 64 and I know some concealer are horrible on me. Been using nyx serum concealer. This one so far has been the best. I'm a cool toned person. Yellow makes me look sick😂 thank you for all you go beyond for us!

Just bought the Ciele Tint last night, absolute love it. I was surprised at the level coverage and I feel like I'm glowing from within. Thank you so much for the awesome recommendation. Tossed my Estee Lauder Futurist Tint, what an absolute waste. Tried everything to get it to work because it was costly but such a huge disappointment from EL.

I know RMS is no longer at Sephora, but I think you should try the new RMS Skin tint! Its similar to ciele.
So curious about color correction! As someone with rosacea and olive skin tone, color correctors always look gray or too orange. I would love to know what you think about how to solve it. Love your channel and your N14 brush!

I have the ND color corrector in peach, but I also have the concealer with peach undertone and I find I don't necessarily need the color corrector. I also have a lot of the products you used today so I don't need to buy anything!😅

Im a relatively new follower and i love your content! I got to know you through your brushes with Lisa J and now actually own a couple! Love the N17! Need a few more of them! I absolutely love your esthetic! I am 65 but if I were under 50, I'd probably go for more piercings because I had 7 until i had to get my main holes repaired and the cosmetic surgeon made that earlobe a bit smaller and I've lost one piercing. If I'm not a chicken after she repierces them, I may get another! Anyhow, love your channel! ~lori

@@midlifemom5829 oh! Then you will love it. It's a nice satin finish med coverage. I use the shade 330N Bisque. I have a matching skin tone to Nikki. Except I'm more neutral under and I think Nikki has slightly olive. So I match most of her shades in foundation for reference. 😁

Soooo which would you recommend for 50+ skin - the Kosas or Makeup by Mario powder?
Either one will be great! It’s more of a question of what you need more- long lasting setting or more lightweight setting. The Mario will make your makeup budget proof, the Kosas will set it beautifully but it’s not AS long lasting as the Mario. BUT it’s great for on the go and touch ups.

I completely disagree regarding the Dior stick foundation. I have textured dry skin at the moment and this foundation looked horrendous, emphasazing all my dry patches. I tried with different primers, moisturizers and it was always very bad.I rarely return foundations but I did for this one. My favorite stick foundation was the Tom Ford which has been discontinued… 😢

I’m waiting for companies to expand their shade range too. But so many, especially the higher end brands, don’t include pink undertoned foundation anymore. I’m told that’s because they are going for the Asian markets. Sigh. That leaves us pink skinned girls with very limited, usually too yellow, choices. Dior’s “cool rosy”?! Barely cool - not rosy at all. Sigh.

All depends on the level of makeup you wear or what you prefer. For a makeup artist the word is spot on. If you are someone who believes some products are worth the price and you can go cheap on others the word is correct. It is all dependent on the person. She is a professional MUA, so I think for her she looks at cosmetics from that perspective.
Why? If a product carries a hefty price tag, you are investing in YOU and your skin / complexion. Everyone deserves to invest in themselves ❤️
Sorry for the second comment…but for me, makeup is my happy place. It is where I go to unwind and just be happy. I posted the comment before I realized I dd not include why I think for me the word invest is accurate. But again, it is all person dependent. ❤
