Deron Miller is the founder of 96 Bitter Beings and the former lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for CKY. On June 14th, 96 Bitter Beings released a new album entitled Return to Hellview. Im 36 and grew up in high school listening to cky, but this is just weird. I LOVED cky and still think the records are classic/timeless and I understand this dude was the guy…but why re-record the songs if the goal is to keep them the same? You don’t like ‘raw’ sound but are recording a raw record? If there’s no chad/jess? Whats the point? Not that noone moved on but why even focus on the past? Focus on new shit, and from what I’ve read there’s a reason band members come and go with this dude. This is the definition of a love/hate music relationship.
