Kofi's actually showing his "young" age here... just to be sure..... Rod Stewart was never a member of Humble Pie. Stewart was the singer of "The Faces"... a band which came about as a result of the breaking up of "The Small Faces"... Steve Marriott was the singer and guitar player of the "Small Faces," and then (after the break up of Small Faces) "Humble Pie"... which Peter Frampton was also a member.

Kofie's a great storyteller. A long interview with him would be great.

This further solidifies the fact that Ginger Baker cared about no one but himself. If you've seen the film "Beware of Mr. Baker," you'll get the idea. And I'll add this: Years ago, I attended a drum competition hosted by Guitar Center. Baker was a judge, and after it was over I went up to him and said something to the effect of, "I've always liked your playing and it's great to meet you." When I reached out to shake his hand he just stared at me. Didn't extend his hand or say anything. That summed it up right there. Great drummer, but that's where it ended.

All is true. Kofi has been a great friend of mine for over 20 years and is one of the most genuinely nice guys on the planet and a monster drummer as well.

It’s sad that this kid hasn’t developed and wants his dad to bank roll him. I haven’t heard him play but I recon he’s no good

Can’t really picture Ginger having a father/Son moment like that “Son,When I die you’ll have my drum back.” but Ok he deserves anything he can get. Fathers in most cases don’t live up to the hype.
