- This is from the same recording batch as my first Ven video. For obvious reasons I think this was the worse fight, which is why it's being uploaded later than usual - I was originally on the fence about uploading it at all. However, I do think there was some interesting stuff in here.
The most important thing is, IMO, the showcase at 2:14 that you can dodge Doom by gliding. I'm not 100% sure on the why or how as of yet (as I've both replicated this and gotten hit while trying it), but I suspect it has to do with some combination of height and which direction you're facing relative to MF.
Also, I believe I've mentioned it before, but it bears repeating: I think Vanish is the worst intentional part of this fight. It effectively forces one of a small handful of strats (surges, Arena limit commands, extremely quick and risky hit-and-run strats...) if you want to stay on the offensive. Meanwhile, being on the defensive involves just avoiding him for 30 seconds, which is annoying and dull (and the reason the portions where I'm just gliding around him are sped up in this vid lol). I would be OK with it solely as a counter for D-Links, but even then I think it would need a duration reduction (it could even last for exactly 13 seconds if they wanted to be cute).

(Finally, I never noticed until editing this video, but the command cards from Whirlwind to the Void have hidden Mickeys on them! Trivial but neat.)

Why didn’t he finish the Collision Magnet pull at 1:11? Is that common?
If an obstacle is in your pull trajectory when he uses Collision Magnet, then the pull will be interrupted and his followup kick will miss. "An obstacle" includes the wall in certain parts of the arena.
It's not particularly common lol.

Which kh games have you played? I've seen in your vanitas remnant video that you havent played bbsfm.
I've played every game up to and including DDD, though no updated versions besides RE:CoM and RE:coded.
Really nice! Also it really sucks that Voltage Stack and Union Rush are 3 slots, kinda stupid
As much as I'd like them to use up fewer slots, I have to admit their power levels kinda make 3 slots justified lol. Same with their long reload times.

Not wrong lol. Though that's really a problem with surges being overtuned.
Commands with 3 slots are supposed to be used in multiplayer with your team, thats why it got 3 spaces
@@oscuritaforze True, but i still think they should have been 2 slots, they take a long time to reload and only Reload Boost can speed it up
One funny thing I guess I've learned watching these videos is that Voltage Stack is excellent in this fight. I've also used Unison Rush to help alleviate the problems with the invisibility phase, particularly as Terra, but he evidently doesn't block attacks from Voltage Stack nearly as much.
Indeed. Unison Rush is pretty great before invisibility but just becomes a time waster during, while Voltage Stack is good for all stages of the fight.
