    You have my respect for simply fighting 'vanilla' MF: that version of the superboss revealed so many things that were busted about the combat system, including Japanese BBS (non-FM) players spamming of Mine commands. Y'know, because MF just jumps over them and never takes damage from them even if they DO hit.

    The invulnerability you talk about by blocking the tornado reminds me that kh3 seems to have a similar aspect, where if some attacks connect while you are invulnerable, like dodging, even if that attack as an active hitbox it just doesn't even damage you anymore, it's like the attack was deactivated in a sense. Maybe its a concept this team has dabble in and made more prevalent for kh3 or just a glitch that seems more exacerbated in that one. Who knows

      Interesting. Is there still intangibility-style dodging in KH3 (ie. attacks can't collide with you)? If not, then I'd suspect it's at least intentional in that game.
      It's tougher to say in BBS thanks to the weirdly short window for actually taking advantage of it. Then again, I'm pretty sure it's legitimately unique - to my knowledge, nothing else in the game makes you invincible without making you intangible. Who knows, indeed.

      @@oscuritaforze Can you define what you mean by intangibility-style dodging?

      @Boyishdude Sure.
      Basically, I mean "dodging like in BBS", where every dodge command makes it so that attacks won't actually collide with you. (I think this is also how it works in most KHs, but I don't know as much about them.) This is as opposed to invincible dodging, where attacks _will_ collide with you, they just won't have any effect.
      The most important difference between the two is how they interact with attacks like MF's whirlwind, which will only ever hit you once per projectile. With the former if you time your dodge improperly, then you can still get hit by it after your intangibility runs out. With the latter once your invincibility runs out, you still won't be able to be hit by it even if you actively try to be.

      @@oscuritaforze If you're asking if KH3 uses KH2-style dodging where attacks will still "hit" Sora when he dodges them, then I recall the answer to that being no, but I'm not really sure the game uses intangibility exactly, since with many attacks you will still get hit if you happen to remain in the hitbox during your roll's endlag where you have no invincibility, unless it's an attack that was specifically designed to deactivate its hitbox pretty early.

      Really, I was originally just looking for more elaboration on this point:
      >"[...]if some attacks connect while you are invulnerable, like dodging, even if that attack has an active hitbox it just doesn't even damage you anymore, it's like the attack was deactivated in a sense."
      ...in the sense that I wanted to know if there was another dodge (or something) you could use which *wouldn't* deactivate attacks like this. I'm starting to think that I just don't have enough of a foundation to talk about this yet, seeing as how I haven't played KH3 yet lol.

    The meteor coming up from right above your head while you in the air and killing you instantly before you could heal startled me.
