This is my first year of business and I'm already on track to beat my goal of 100k for the year. I'm getting more companies to sign on with me due to my ability to produce a quality product. I definitely owe a decent amount of success to the striping UA-cam community and Chris himself!! This guy will return calls and try his best to help elevate you to where you need to be! Badass video's guys!

Huh. I'm an IT consultant... and just straight up tired of my work. I used to paint cars, so I already know the finer points of masking and basic paint best practices. What is the average entry cost for the gear needed? This sounds very interesting. Also, any tips on finding local competition? Pretty sure this is beyond viable in my area. Thanks for the video, it's got me thinking.

Outside work sucks, heat of day basic weather and no toilet. you shit in a can. Plus now you gotta do the work but also advertise and get customers to close on the work. If you dont sell you dont eat. Food for thought the grass aint green on the other side. Sales is a honed skill, read up and listen to recordings of closes. Its a never ending learning skill. good luck most sales people fail misserably, I know i used to train them. And very few survived.

@@peter-pg5yc I've done plenty of outside hard work in my life, and from what I see, not much striping is done during the busy hours. Even those that are, I have no issue with. I love being outside. There are very few advertised in my area... and just a little bit of brainstorming already has a few good ideas on getting business. I've been in sales as a part of my job for the last 7+ years. I can build great relationships. This is something I'm pretty sure I could succeed at.

so what did you do for the other 5 hours? cloverleaf? Flyers? adds, calls? your job is to close customers, anyone can paint, few can close. Why choose you? And its never about the monies. What you are selling is YOU! how do you feel about those last 2 sentences? Its the reality of sales.
