I don’t know if a mess up but I usually just do 1 number for single digit numbers and don’t put a zero next to it.

Coal tar emulsion is brutal. You can smell the VOCs a mile away. I’ve striped over plenty of coal tar sealcoat and it gives me a headache and sometimes makes my throat itch. That stuff is why so many of the old sealcoaters got cancer. Even still, it’s better than asphalt emulsion.

I’m 19 working paycheck to paycheck 50-60 hours a week doing line striping and other asphalt services, starting to work on building my credit up and saving for when I decide to get things up and going for myself, you are a big help and an inspiration.

Ya you actually f’d up a lot. Slow down just a half a second and apply the correct amount of paint the first time so you don’t keep going back. You also went over the line immediately on that last strip at the beginning of the video

I only care about the money, that’s why I do good quality work so I can have a good reputation so I can get more jobs and charge higher prices. It’s wild how much of the cheap guys that cut corners don’t understand that good work translates to more money in the long term.

We landed a subcontracted chain of libraries & a couple churches by doing exactly what you teach and staying consistent. I've done a lot of jobs using this exact machine with my husband. When going from latex to acetone paint he pumps clean gas through the prime and then the gun. Then he pumps warm not cold but WARM WATER through the prime then gun before blowing latex paint through the prime and gun. Reverse the process to to go from latex to acetone base paint. Acetone is to damn powerful to run through these machines alone to clean. They're not like old school kellycrisswell you can run lava through those paint machines lol

@ 10:05 this step is completely unnecessary. You just gotta wait until the paint dries to do the rest of the line anyway. So might as well just wait and make the line one solid piece instead of breaking it up into two strips of paint. I see a couple of things that I can do to help improve your game Chris!!
