In this video, Christian works to get a set of heavy duty 2" Drop beam pivots built to put on the truck. He also gets the beams back under the truck to get ready to create radius arms!

Love the fab videos. I watch them when I’m on the toilet at work
Literally me right now
I think you have the right idea just making a crossmember that ties in the radius arms, thats how a lot of kits for jeeps do their radius arms
"too busy thinking about coilovers and big tires" -- we all overlook ball joints and wheel bearings from time to time when fun stuff is at stake! Man, you're a good fabricator!
Thanks for making these videos. This is hands down the best prerunner fab build channel on youtube.
Respect. Straight talent.
Guess what I'm going start designing for the Ranger...this. thank you for the motivation.
Looks good, excellent fab skills
Dem whoop scissors!
We’re up here in Oregon. Keep up the great work! Love watching u guys!!
You brothers are gunna THE prerunner/ fab shop one day soon. 👍🏻
You should run the Motorcraft fl1995 oil filter, it’s for a 94.5-03 7.3 powerstroke and it goes right on your 7.3 idi. It’s a finer micron rating than the idi filters and it also is bigger for more filter capacity, more oil volume, and it’s a better filter overall.
I really enjoy the diesel build videos.
Nice work man to the both of you keep up the killer content
Enjoying theas builds. Highly considering resurrecting my buddies 92 from behind his house an building a similar style truck
Donde estes hermano te bendigo
Killin it! Keep them coming, maybe have jake do a update video on all your trucks and bud, just haven’t seen some stuff about them on the Chanel
Y’all need a Cnc plasma table. I might have one for sale soon in the sd area
Somebody needs to sponsor you a cnc plasma cutter!
Bro those parts look good trucks going to look sick🎥📹🍕🍻
Great content dudes, so inspirational. gotta get my ass in gear and get stuck into my 84 bronco and 72 f100. you guys should do a bronco build would be cool to see how much better you guys can make an 80's-90's bronco compared to the new one thats just come out. i think you guys would win hat shoot out hands down.
Love the channel keep on keeping on!
I have a question can prerunners used slotted rotors? Or is the just a lost cause with the rocks and sand?
Eres bueno en tu trabajó!!!!👍
Saaah dudes!!!
Suhhhhh Foo!
Когда свариваешь металл, нужно одевать одежду с длинным рукавом, чтобы не было ожогов на коже! Сам иногда ленюсь одеть, потом мучаюсь. За видео спасибо, скоро буду делать тоже самое на своей машине!
Asuh dudes, once I get my next project rolling you guys need to come out to Utah for a collab and rip the dunes!
I need a set of these brackets for my van, extra beef ! $$
So you opted to lower beam brackets for your lift vrs. bending beams? Just asking because when watching video on radius arm brackets you mentioned Auto Fab beam brackets.....Auto Fab bends I beams for lifts so I was just wondering if I'm missing something
Are drop brackets required for 2wd 4” lift set up ?
Lost as I’m building first truck , would it work just running stock beams , solo extended radius arms , 4” shocks and springs? Any help would be so much appreciated!
You should get a plasma you can find some cheap good ones and a plasma table pretty cheap if your doing some smaller parts like that. It maximizes your material usage
would you be willing to share or sell a copy of those templates? i'd love to do some for my 7.3 idi too!
I was thinking the same thing but i want like them for the 92 with stock beams
I found theas today
autofab.com/i-22828702-2-drop-brackets-for-1980-96-ford-f-150-f-250-f-350-and-bronco.html
Bro, any chance I can get the cads of the pivots and the radius arms links? Would insanely appreciate it!
Can he do one for a 2wd 2002 f350
Love the build so far! What’s the max amperage for your mig welder? Do you like the weld quality when welding something like the 1/4” thick beam mounts?
Will you guys do work on my truck looking for something like that lift a f250 2wd
Hey what kind of band saw are you using? I need to get one
I have a badass original idea: get two of the “short” I beams from an f-150 or even a ranger and make a “Center mount I beam truck”. Would cycle a lot of travel and who’s done it?!
Is there any way you guys could make them brackets for me? My truck is 2wd and I can’t find those pívot drop brackets.
Why can I not find any I beam drop brackets for a 2004 excursion 2wd
Fit on Ford excursion rwd?
will these work on a 2001 f350 2wd
Will you sell those drop brackets?
Are those the stock beams off that truck? They look beefy for stock. And if yes are you planning on running them or switching to giant or some other brand?
Yes they are the stock beams from the truck, I am leaving them for now because I want to keep the truck stock width and not add fiberglass to this truck
What i beams are you guys using? Are they stock i beams?
I got a 1986 f250 4x4 with the 6.9idi and the dana 44 style ttb. How hard do you think it will be to convert it from leaf springs to coils and radius arms like the 2wd trucks. It's going to be a general purpose offroader, I just want more travel and a little better ride. Or would it be easier to just swap in a dana 60 and go with a progressive rate dever spring pack for more travel and smoother ride. Just curious🤷♂️
Its just as easy as what im doing on this truck, literally the same exact concept!
Do y'all sell these patterns for people who want to do this DIY?
Are you going to extend the beams?
👏👏👏😍😍😍
What are the chances of getting those CAD drawings?
Do you have a stock drive shaft on your 94 f150?
On Pamela? No, when the rear of the truck was built with the spring under and under the bed bypass it got a an aftermarket 2 piece shaft made for it
Why not use soap stone to mark those holes 🕳 🤔
I have never personally used it before, I am hard on stuff and soap stone seems easy to break apart if its dropped which is why ive stayed away from it. Plus alot of the stuff we are drawing up now in cad the holes on the templates have a centermark already drawn on them and ill just use the center punch and mark it on the material. For the hole in the video I could not reach because the engine was in the way I could have used the soap stone I guess, I just dont have any here. I do have plenty of hardware and antisieze just like everyone else does though haha!
@@WingsWorldChannel imo soap stone is great. But I have to keep 5 or so sharp at all times cause I constantly drop or crush them
Been fanning for years and I hate soap stone. Leave the chalk for the kids.
Wings World yeah I understand that all but instead of using anti-seize and try to sneak in a hard bolt with out rubbing off the anti seize to mark your hole 🕳 snap a small piece of soap stone mark your hole 🕳 and done deal cause like you stated your hard on your stuff so how much of that anti seize did you really get in there but at the end of the day it’s on you guys ask your pops he’ll get what I’m saying 😉keep up the good work my dude’s 👍🏼
What Band saw is that? Are you happy with it?
Its a JET 414418 18-Inch Metal/Wood Vertical Bandsaw. Going from cutting everything out with a cutoff wheel for 5 years to biting the bullet and upgrading to this, its amazing! Especially for thicker stuff like these pivots that are 1/4" thick, it cuts through it way faster and more precisely than the angle grinder. Its a great tool to have in the garage now that we have it
Wings World Thanks for the reply. It’s on my list of things to buy but I need a tube bender next.
First
Could just cut your plate shape with ram board and then rub with dirty hands and you have exactly where the hole goes....or have anti-seize everywhere for the next couple months!
