In this video, Christian builds an engine cage in the diesel to be able to mount the Fox 2.5 coilovers on the truck! The end result came out very clean and marks the end of the majority of the fabrication required to finish the truck.

One of my favorite diesel builds. Truck looks amazing.
I know that this is an older thread but I'm a huge fan of you guys. You run a nice show, and C you make it look so easy. I have a 92 F150 2wd with a super lift drop bracket kit and 31's,lol. But y'all are giving me a whole new outlook. Let me know about those beams if you get a chance. Thanks guys.
Those fab skills 🤙
So clean
Sick fab skills making it look easy 👍👍👍
Dude, you're getting me geeked up for another i-beam truck. That was my first vehicle a 95 F-150, white single cab, long bed with the 4.9L (namesake of my channel). I'm learning so much from your videos...this is such a fun series!
love seeing your hand in these unique builds keep at it!
Killing it!
Great job!! Very talented brothers
nice work Christian! gives me some ideas as to where to put stuff on my f250!
Such an awesome build, when I have somewhere to work I can’t wait to come back and actually put your advice into practice.
Amazing work dude!
I'm loving this series. Please do more like it!
Another great video! 😁🇺🇸
Oh my god I need to go back and watch all this. Ive got an 88 7.3 f250 also. I am currently adding a Gear Vendors unit.
AAASSAAA DUDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE COME BACK!!!
I miss the “AAAASSAA DUDE” intro. Love the work thoe. Mad respect👌🏽🔥
It is a pleasure watching you work. You make it look easy.
What bandsaw is that?
Thank you for the support dude! Its a JET 414418 18-Inch Metal/Wood Vertical Bandsaw
Man you do nice work!
Sick
Cool video..said it before but I really like the way you guys do your videos...
Thank you for the support dude!
Man, when I get some parts and money I want to take my truck to you. 🇺🇸🤘🏾
Something to talk about when your talking about running these beefy springs and how heavy a Diesel engine is how light these trucks are in comparison.
Mine is a 4x4 single cab and weighs 5300lbs. Would we be freaking out about putting that same spring set up on a 460 truck with a winch?
The tunes are good.
maybe use the tubes to make a master cylinder brace. in some motorsports cars they brace the master to stop it from flexing as you brake, its supposed to give better brake feel
Wish I could Bring you Bullnose F350 to your garage. Jealous of that set up.
Have you ever done a coil over conversion on a 00 ford ranger to get rid of the torsion bars?
Let’s go
What band saw are you using to cut the tabs and plates? I'm in the market for one and yours seems to do a pretty good job. I'm really digging this build series. 👍
I was thinking the same thing
Its a JET 414418 18-Inch Metal/Wood Vertical Bandsaw, the best tool ive bought so far!
Wings World awesome
Man! Thanks. It’s on my shopping list now.
Any reason you didnt weld a plate to the frame than weld in the shock mounts on top of that? Loving this build btw
what do you guys recommenced to remove factory paint off the frame when welding to it?
Do you have a part number for that king 3.0 to 3.75 spring adapter?
Having an OBS 7.3 myself I'm jealous...I do have a Dana 60 instead :) So no need to plate the frame where you tied in at? That PS line looks really close on camera since the engine shifts side to side with torque (+frames flex like crazy on these trucks). Just an observation, would suck to lose flammable PS/ATF fluid.
Hey man is posible put a front diferentials with that suspensión
Where did you guys get your shock parts? Kartek or directly from king?
What would be different applying this process to a 4WD Dana 50 TTB?
What is the weight capacity of those pipe stands your holding the truck up with
Hey guys, can I ask if you you had those beams bent, aligned? My 92 F1 has indenical beams but straight, I ask because I know that autofab does align them. Awesome fab by the way. Thank you.
Would those drop btackets work on a 2002 Excursion 2wd ? Sont want a 6" lift but do want to level it out 2-3"
Possible for u and your brother to do a video on what tools your working with?? 😃
We are workin on something like this!
What spring rate you using?
You should make a prerunner 101 video on dual and single swing set 👍
They should have one.
We have a intro video on the differences between the two on the channel, but we will be going more indepth with it in a future video
I wonder if converting the brake from vacuum brake booster to hydro boost brake booster from the 1999+ power strokes would shorten the overall length from fire wall to the end of the master cylinder
I could, im planning on doing a disc brake conversion on the rear in the future anyways
What make bandsaw are you using? I need one in my life.
Its a JET 414418 18-Inch Metal/Wood Vertical Bandsaw
And the engine cage how much would u charge to make this whole long travel and engine cage identical for my truck I love the whole truck I don’t want you to work on my truck or nothing just wanting to see how much u might charge to make an identical engine cage and long travel I can install just please let me kno 🥺
19:20 downhill welding you naughty boy.
I'll jump on the handsaw comments too. What tpi is your blade? Idgaf what brand the machine is just the blade and rpm?
TPI is 10/14 and im using a 1/4" x .035 blade. Machine is set to 150 FPM - Christian
Who makes those adapter plates to run the 3.75 springs
He said King
Its a King part for the upper spring plate adapter and a fox part for the lower spring retainer, both i got from tylor at Kartek
Are the beams located dimensions the same as f150?
The stock 250/350 beam pivots are different from the 150 stuff, so no easy swaps with half-ton parts sadly.
@@WhyBeNick these 2wd F250 beam pivots have identical mounting points to the ones on the 92F1Build so these mounts i built for the diesel could techically be ran on a 2wd F150 frame if I wanted to do that
Whats your plans on performance wise
I really want to get the banks 21060 sidewinder kit for it and see what the power difference is. I ideally want to 5 speed manual swap it too, i just need to find the parts forsale to do it
@@WingsWorldChannel you could stud the head so you can run more boost. You could get a moose pump to get more fuel. Use anti-seize if you replace injectors.
Would this same concept fit a 1995 f150 single cab ?
Yep same idea, the frames of the trucks are basically identical
Wings World could I possibly buy this kit off you ? Like the same set up as Whats in the video.
Yo
new vids??
Когда будет перевод на русский?😟
Bro Please make me some shock mounts like yours ill pay "i needs that "
#wingsworld
King plates on a fox body going into a Ford. Gross. Get a a Toyota bruh
