Where y’all at?!
That brake line coming off the master cylinder really should have a loop in it for the body flex.
Hope ya'll are good. We haven't heard from you in a bit.
I own this truck now and I absolutely love it
This turned out insane. Nicely done gents. I tip my diesel hat to you. 🤠
What happened to this channel ? What happens to Jake? Instagram
I am trying to find out the same thing. Maybe he got himself in some sort of trouble?
@@sam_s_ but how ? Nothing on video I see incriminating
@@donay3773 Maybe he got in trouble in his private life. I don't really know though. Or he could be sick.
@@sam_s_ your probably right shoot and I was looking forward vfor the vw bug
Been wondering the same. I follow Christian on IG but there’s been no mention of Jake or the channel in the few months that I’ve followed him. They were making such great videos.
I like the heat shrink on the hose clamps, nice added touch.
Where TF you guys go man. Hope all is well looking forward to the next upload.
Couldn’t have clicked faster when I saw the thumbnail. Truck looks absolutely amazing one of the best looking single cabs I’ve ever seen.
I would love to see the finished suspension in action. Would you ever make a driving video?
this^^^ please huck, asap.
Thats forsure something I can do, I ideally want to get the rear suspension done first and then do a driving video. The front feels great now, the rear still feels like crap haha!
It's great to know that you guys have a desire to teach people. I seem to learn something new every video.
Looks awesome. Love bringing new life to the old trucks. I have a diesel 87 3/4 ton V20 Suburban. Love it.
What’s the deal where y’all been!?
Came together so nicely. Such a clean look. That turbo kit is going to make it that much better
I LOVE this build, it's sophisticated enough to be legit, yet it's not completely out of the realm of possibilities for a guy starting out. I have a 1997 F250HD Reg Cab Long Bed 2wd 351w ZF-5 S47 and that suspension is life goals for me. Right now I am working of the engine and since I am in a state without inspection or emissions there are tons of possibilities there. This is the best thing to do with a 2wd OBS Ford, it's pointless to try lowering one, so you might as well go PreRunner if you're going to lift it. One crazy idea I have had is to cut out the back of the cab and the front of the bed, make them one piece and make a removable cap like a huge Bronco. Hopefully you'll keep updating this one even though it's been a long time. I know you guys have been busy. Hopefully you get back on UA-cam.
looks so clean. the attention to detail is always awesome to see
The truck looks so good Christian! Can’t wait to see it move!
Looks Awesome! Nice fab work and I like the attention to details. 👌😎
Nice truck! Good job on the craftsmanship ..
Perfect music for the montage, you'll never top it now haha
I had my headphones on and that bass caught me off guard lol
Makes me wanna drink some tequila and make love to my hyna
Such a dope build already. Keep it up legends!
hey guys, when will you upload videos again?
This truck is turning pretty cool 🤙good work 👍
Love that body style, really cool looking truck.
Hope you boys are doing alright!
Dang my guys! I’m going back rewatching videos! Got my giant Motor sport lower links ordered!
Keep making awesome stuff guy's... Trucks, fab work video editing all on point. I even like the decision videos, now I want to build a truck on beams Soo bad .
When it comes time to do Motor work, check out r&d IDI. I have their 90cc injection pump and "stage one" injectors on my 6.9 IDI along with an ats turbo kit, it does pretty good.
Where have you guys been? Hope all is well
Looks amazing guys I have a 96 7.3l powerstroke f350 dually the i want to get a little bit of a lift on it and fit 35s on it to but I run into the same thing the tire hits the factory track bar so you guys gave me a lot of great ideas id love to see the rest of this truck built
Very nice! I enjoyed this series.
That proportioning valve looked immaculate! 😍😁
love the diesel build, turned out awesome!!!
Nice very nice! I have the very same truck, mine is a 91. I did my own electrical, it’s a conventional mechanical diesel. There’s a guy mike green on UA-cam, breaks it down pretty tight! Ty brother, inspiring! Btw I rebuilt my own, non turbo, 7.3, don’t need it!
Great series! Truck is sick!🇺🇸
Came out clean 👍👍👍
Great work as usual bro... U and ur Lil brother have come along so far. I am tripping on mounting those resies in the engine bay like that. The whole point of choosing locations is mounting in a spot that's the coolest temp wise and cool air flow if possible for cooling reasons. But at this point ur more advanced then I am in this department. But way to, pat o. The back double knuckle berm shots on all the progress and I'm jelly on the entire family being completely behind u guys in the motorsports end of industry. Hells yeah. Hopefully I can run into u guys out in the Dez soon. My silvy isn't where I'd like it to be yet but my game plan is now under way, my son and I are half way aggressively active in our outdoors motocross rides. He is 14 riding his setup crf150f & I'm on my crf450f of course. Next on my list is actually used popup camper that I can use on half ton for now then once my tow rig has been procured the build commenses.. 🇺🇸 OH yeah which is extended uniballed dana 50 TTB widend abit on 37"s.half 4x weekender / still able to float some whoops as I get occasional bug. Lol kk latest Johnny & Blake
Nice and clean Job!!!!!!✌
Keep it up brotha, hopefully a wings shop is in the works
Damn i wish there was more to the build. Lol I dig this truck alot
There will be more too it over time, I have some ideas on different things im going to be adding to this truck, its not finished by any means! - Christian
@@WingsWorldChannel hell yeah man. Reminds me of a truck I use to drive around on my uncles farm in El Centro CA. Can't wait to see the next video 🤙
That is a gorgeous truck. With the pre 1995 front is awesome.
Pre-92
Awesome job man. Looks ssssiiiiiiick
I've got to follow your every step
Great job from Oregon!!!
Keep those loops in the brake lines!!!! They're there so when the truck flexes the lines have room to move at those little loops instead of stressing the fittings. A good example of this in use is most toyota trucks that have tons of frame flex but the brake lines stay intact because they have those loops everywhere
Also, can’t wait to see what happens to the rear and when this old girl gets some power, need to see her dancing through some whoops also!
Dang looks good nice job.
The front end is mint dawg
Knew I recognized that bay front being from SD, sweet truck.
I can't place it. Where is it exactly?
Sweet set up. What are your pans for the rear?
Im intrested in a set of the drop brackes for the beams.
Awsome job, how much would you charge to build some brackets for my twin I beams on my 99 2wd f250 wanting to put a leveling kit.
Man I just found you guys on the tube. Binge watching all you videos, lots of great things to learn. Question, what type of camera are you using to shoot?
U could hve main fitting whereoil filter scews on & 3 line adapter w video game 3 oil filters if u could mount them DIY easy
Wow amazing,
sooo sick!
Just a question, to get more travel out of the front, could you make the mounts for the beams longer(pushing away from the frame towards the ground) to raise it up and get more travel? I havent built a truck like this but was just wondering
Bro ima chev guy and that Ford looks badass📹🎥😎🏃🍕🍻
This is a rad series, guys! How have the coilovers been since the install?
You guys are doing very nice work...you might want to take a minute to talk to the new builders following your channel the difference between a 45 deg SAE flare and the common performance builds the 37 deg AN flare....Thanks!
Very true! We have previous videos on the channel on doing these stainless brakeslines already and alot of info has been talked about in those. But there 100% is a difference between the two when using stainless and -3 fittings!
I should have trusted you guys more...:)
Still curious where you were able to get ahold of those tri-aces
Sick
Fiesta island
Do you think can do same on one 2001 f250 2WD super crew. Truck look nice !!!
Hey Chris( that is your name?), I watched your vid on the radius arm build. Want to modify and lengthen the ones on my 72 F250 2wd. Was wondering if I could lean on you for some advice/tips....liked what I watched
Classicdieseldesigns specializes in idis and has custom kits
I like bricknose truck, saludos desde argentina
Why are the shocks reservoirs in the engine bay? Wouldn’t the engine bay heat affect the cooling effects of them? I could be totally wrong, just curious.
Besides kartech do you guys have a steelit retailer?
2 months, are you guys done with UA-cam?
Are these all compression fittings or flare
6:02 I didn’t know steel-it came in a rustoleum spray paint can 😂😂😂
Was he spraying primer there?
I like the way you did that pretty slick better take that shit to the DR, its lookin sick man!!!
I really get my Jollys on improving my 7.3s Just got done testing the wind Characteristics and plan on putting scoops in the fenders to feed fresh air to my Air filter. According to10 pieces of string all the way through mph to 100mph there is plenty of flowage so Ima gonna get out the 4" hole saw and the planishing hammer on some 22g.
Man I would love to do up my crew cab dually would be monster sick pullin the single cab 12.85et 7.3.
Q: The Brake Lines don't need to be the same length? The stock lines have that large coiled section at the Master Cylinder to make them equal in length? I am just about ready to do the Fronts on both my 97' OBS. The OE really suck to even deal with the soft lines at the frame pretty awful.
Could you make me ah front kit or point me in the direction of your kit bc I have a 93 2wd idi id like to finish my truck and set the ride height just as yours is it’s the most beautiful idi I’ve ever seen 🥺
What is your wheel size and inside offset, on this F250.?
I would not recommend a turbo with the 7.3 idi diesels. Head gaskets like to go after all that compression and then boost. Even naturally aspirated they seem to go. Valves like to drop as well. The old 6.9s would leak oil through the value seals, they fixed it... lol. I would recommend headers into dual exhaust and cutting the bowl inside the hat off and put a pyrometer and turn the pump up a 1/8 of a turn. I could only put all the fuel in it at higher speeds else just black smoke. I would feel better about boosting with a larger combustion camber and since the heads are flat I'd look at custom pistons.
That’s strange, I know a handful of guys running aftermarket Turbo kits (Banks/AFE) in their none stock idi’s with no issues. How much boost are you referring too?
Does anyone know if a good place to re gear and lock a c8.25 In SoCal? I know it’s not cheap but every place wants about 1300 +. I was hesitant to ask but fuck it.
How much to have y’all do this front end on my 97 sbcc 😂
E and J wireworks they are in Murrieta but the guy is a genius with wiring
Thats who wired our prerunner! They do great work
Turn up the pump. It’s weak from the factory! Will add a little more power!
Forgot to mention it’s easy and can be done in about 30 minutes with just a couple tools
I realized you used the rustolium 2x. Does that work the same as steel it?
I only used the 2X on the inner fender liners, everything else on the truck got steel it. The 2x is what i used to use on EVERYTHING i built until steel it came out. Now it seems like im exclusively using steel it on things haha. It does NOT work the same as steel it though. Steel it has stainless steel flakes in it which makes it able to be welded through without removing the coating, 2x is just normal spray paint/primer in one
It looks great but more importantly how does it drive?
Truck drives great! Front feels night and day better than it did before, drives straighter now too with a good alignment haha! Rear needs work still though
How do I get in touch with you so you guys can do my truck?
Amazing fab work but where’s the driving and flexing that front end and the ASHA dudes come on!!
Driving will come later once the rear is done
Why no new vids? Is there a new channel? If so I’d like to follow.
How did the black on the suspension come out? I would like to touch up my frame ad well.
Came out perfect! If you take the time to sand/wire wheel everything down really thoroughly, and they spray the steel it down good it has a really nice finish too it!
@@WingsWorldChannel thanks!
Any new videos coming soon?
What happened to you guys and why is Jake's Instagram gone?
Damn that sucks
Christian’s ig is still up
Any new videos coming ?
Did the rear end and turbo kit end up getting done?
negative! Christian Sold this truck a while back before he got the chance to do these upgrades
Hey Wings World need a new Video✌
This is exactly what is was wanting to do with my 92. Your video was very helpful! Can you post a list of part numbers for the coil overs you used?
Dont have a part number but they are Fox 2.5x10" stroke coilovers!
Looks great hey what are those tall strands you use to hold the truck up?
They are “tall stands”
@@cencoast_7.340 that's the brand name?
@@cencoast_7.340 stoopid hahaha
@@edwardfast4525 No they are not called tall stands haha, they are Sumner Hi Fold-A-Jacks with V-Head's. You can find them on amazon!
@@WingsWorldChannel Ah I found them on Amazon! I just typed in "Tall Stands". Thanks EWings EWorld
Im fiending for more content worse than Tyrell Biggums 😬😬
I would do the ‘05 and up axle swap, newer axle and disk brakes at the same time.
Not a bad idea! Ill have to look into it - christian
Wings World Yeah, very common swap for the Obs fords. A lot of guys do the front and rear axles out of the 05 up. Disk brakes, Dana axle, longer leafs etc.
@@WingsWorldChannel Hey Christian do you know a Matt Kruson from East county by chance?
@@WingsWorldChannel Or Krewsun
How did you install your pitman arm
Tightened the nut to 200FTLB
What's the name of those wheels they look sick on that obs!
They are method 315’s 🤘🏼
Do you have disc brakes in the rear?
Not yet! Ive been eyeing the lugnut4x4 conversion kit for these 14 bolts. Just havent pulled the trigger yet
@@WingsWorldChannel are you planning to swap from a sterling to a 14 bolt?
New videos please
Get rid of those wire nuts... no place under the hood of a vehicle. Do the wiring yourself, it’s easy and I’d be glad to give you pointers on how to do a proper job. Use Deutsche connectors, shrink tube and proper strain relief.
Wire nuts are the main reason I want the wiring redone haha im not trying to have a fire in the engine compartment! I am not a wiring guy though. I need someone that actually knows what they are doing to do this. I got the fab handled though haha!
Wings World yes you guys certainly do!!! I love how you and your brother work together on things as a team. My brother can’t even check oil...and I build complete vehicles..... go figure 😂
If your looking for any performance parts or even guidance on that 7.3 hit up the guys over at idiperformance.com/ super helpful and when I built my last idi I used their stage 1 injectors, injection pump and intercooler kit and man did that truck rip! Great guys and even better quality out of the parts.
