Nice. So once you plant them and put them away as shown. What's next? how long until you come back and check for roots and move them to a bigger pot? Or when do you water them...or etc...
Can you cut the branch off and use the root grow powder you use then put in soil right away or if I let them dry out for few days can I still use the root powder when there dried over ?
I just potted a cutting just to try it out, for what I saw in another video the caudex will never get big bit there is a good change that it may produce seeds, hopefully that will happen so I can plant some seeds.
Thank you for this video!
Just found your channel. Love the info. Thank you
Do you have an update video on this? TIA!
Is there a video of taking the cuttings ? I ❤ desert roses !!
Wondering this too
Will a cutting still develop a caudex?
It will but it won’t get fat like a seed grown adenium.
Where is the updated video?

I’ll be giving updates this weekend. We’re getting a cold snap on Wednesday so I’ll be moving them into the garage overwinter
@@texasgardenguy Hey man I can't find that update? Did this bonsai soil work or would you use something else?
Is there an update?
Where do you find those particular pots? The terra cotta ones that is.
Do you cut the top off too? And do you put cinnamon on the top? Thanks
do you use rooting hormone?
Will it callous over if I had stored my clipping in water for a few days?
No.
I think it would rot probably
@@texasgardenguy Thank you

I would let them scab over. You can still use the powder
Chopstick...spin action...plant...compact the soil. 😂got it. Thank you.
❤❤😊😊
the problem is ,,the caudex will never get big ,,you'll just have a single branch growing !
I say that in the video.
You will get branching with pruning. It just won’t get a fat caudex
👍
