- This adenium is HUGE! I found on the way back from my Alabama Road Trip, at Garden Spot Nursery in Slidell, Louisiana. It was literally bursting the pot open at the sides so I had to get it home, pot it up properly and add it to the collection with my other Desert Roses! I think this is the biggest adenium obesum in my collection! Until the NEXT MONSTER IS FOUND!

I just started playing around with the desert Rose and I love him. I have two right now so you’re teaching me a lot. Thank you very much. I also live close to Houston.
Looks real good!
Thank you!
That definitely was a Winner! I guess if you leave it alone for awhile , that codex will grow huge .
Beautiful bro ❤
Thank you!
Thank you so much for your videos!
Thank you!
Love this video! I'm learning so much about Desert Roses and plants like it - sounds like I can take a lot of the tips here and apply it to succulents.
Hi from Austin!
Absolutely! Thank you!
Love the content i just started my DR journey this spring and had to save the caudex from rot and its now growing healty and is solid. Got it planted in a italian terracotta short pot.
Fantastic! It’s an addiction! Be careful! 😂
Omg that is a beauty, Im jealous lol. Great find well worth what you paid my friend!!
Absolutely! Thank you!
Awesome find! Do you sell your plants?
Not yet. Maybe when I run out of money 😆
I’m new to desert roses, I have 2 I need to repot, kind of nervous but this is very helpful!
Happy to help!
I really like your videos, I’ve learned a lot from them! I have recently fallen in love with Desert Roses and I bought my first one from Home Depot (of all places) for 30 bucks and it is huge. I’m also from Houston… where do you buy your pots from? I’m having a hard time finding affordable ones…
I usually find good terra cotta all over. Even the big box stores should have them
Thank you for sharing. Can you do a tutorial on how to propagate a Dessert Rose? I like all the flowers you have.
Yes! I’ll be doing some soon. But I also have one in my Desert Rose Playlist.

Does ya desert rose bloom. I buy miniature rose's. Cactus. and Marigolds. I always repoted them as soon as I buy them.
Oh yea. They all bloom. This one didn’t have any on it when I bought it but it’s because they had it in the shade. It’ll go out in full sun soon and get some blooms this fall.
Beautiful plant 👍 ive just researched desert rose. its totally bonkers the variety and how massive these plants can grow. you might need a bigger garden 😂
Haha. Luckily they aren’t the fastest growers. Takes a long time for them to become giants! Love them though!
I purchased a small desert rose at a nursery and replanted it in a clay pot, watered it, and placed it in a sunny spot. The night time temperature is between the 50’s and 60’s. I just checked the cadeau and it is a little soft. What can I do to fix the problem? I have two others that are a little bigger and they are doing fine. Should I bring those inside and put them under grow lights? Thank you for your advice. Love watching your videos.
I bring mine in during the winter. They will either go dormant and drop a their leaves until spring or you can put them under the growlights and they’ll stay green. That’s also normal that they’re a little soft. Just remember to avoid watering them too much if you made any cuts.
@ thank you for your help. I haven’t made any cuts. I thought it would be done in the spring.
Would I water them if I bring I bring them in and put them under grow lights?
I enjoy your videos. I live in Frankfort, KY and it is getting near Fall. Unfortunately my husband and I live in a one bedroom apartment. it has a patio, which is where I put my outdoor plants. I do have to keep the number of plants down due to lack of space. Wish we did have a house with a yard. Oh, well, I do what I can with what I have.
We all started somewhere! I use to garden on a 3rd floor apartment balcony
Niceeeeeeeee
Thanks!
Where did you get the screen? Thanks in advance!
I bought my desert rose from Home Depot I live in Canada British Columbia I repot it it’s month ago but all of sutten leaves bit dry out I have so much light in my house I love it taking care so much please help
I’m not sure how well they will do indoors. I keep mine outdoors in full sun and they like the heat.
Maybe your plant is in shock and went dormant for a while. Don't worry it will adapt to your weather. Keep it warm and water sparingly. U will see new leaves soon if not already...😊
Well I have two huge ones that need repotting but I cannot find a large enough pot for the one. I need options!
You can find them. Just may be harder to find.
Mandrake is what you are trying to think of.
Yes!
