BPWF, Antman quantumania (confirmed to be a dark painful movie for Scott), GOTG 3 (lots of death and loss happening), secret invasion, Echo, Loki season 2 (directly setting up a huge serious movie in Kang dynasty), Blade, daredevil born again. It’s gonna be a BRUTAL phase 5 but I’m 1000% here for this tone shift

Secret Invasion could effect the future for all heros. The Skrull could have people lose trust in super powered people. Thus a perfect time for X-men and the hate for mutants.
The She-Hulk series is already setting up a Civil War scenario because the Wong Vs Blaze court case set a precedent for people with abilities to be forbidden for practicing them in order to protect the public. It also established that the courts have jurisdiction in those matters. Previously the Sokovia Accords placed people under the direct supervision of the UN when applied to international activities but Jennifer's case has granted similar authority to the US government.
If Secret Invasion sets up Thunder Bolts could they also set up Man On The Wall. That would truly be Awesome and great theatrical performance for SLJ. Be it a 2 part movie or 8 episode maybe 10 on Disney plus.
I feel like Kingpin is going to come into play somewhere in the future too. I mean he also took on all of the worlds heroes and sent them underground, and Vincent Dinofrio is a huge name. I doubt they'll reserve a villain like Kingpin and a talent like Vincent to just a television series. He's gonna play into major conflicts at some point in the future.
I have another thought too. Although Val being the Norman Osborn equivalent could MOST DEFINITELY happen, what if… they make Doom the Norman of Dark Reign somehow
Contessa is not a substitute for Norman Osborne. At least a very poor choice. U had the best Norman in the MCU already and they got rid of him. WTF? No one was a better choice. 1 of marvels worst moves
One thing not mentioned, is the connection to Agents of Shield. SLJ’s character exiting the show co-exists with the Scroll’s we see in the movie. Fury stated his reason for leaving and giving Phil Colsen the position of head of Shield.
Fans got to enjoy this speculation for what it is. Coming into the release of any of this stuff with this much expectations is just leading to disappointment 😅
I think the MCU has been foreshadowing dark times are coming for a while now. Wandavision, Loki season 1, What If season 1 and Falcon and the Winter Soldier all have indicated that shady things are happening. Worse things are on the way. Moon Knight and Chung chi even opened the door to the idea there are dark forces out there that no one is ready to handle. Then there's Kang who presumably has overtaken ALL of that and more. We are going to get an introduction to THAT guy. Things are going to get dark. To quote Wade Wilson from Deadpool 2, "Are you sure you're not from the DC universe?"

I’m not comparing the two entities BUT. DC did Suicide Squad twice. Yet, there was no build up towards It. MCU is carefully building up the Thunderbolts for the audience to actually care for them. “Secret Invasion”, “Armor Wars” to build up for “Thunderbolts”? That’s great planning!

I hope you're right because I don't care for the campy/humor everywhere MCU. My favorite MCU movie is "Winter Soldier" because it was gritty, had limited humor in the right places, intrigue, and action! Stakes were personal and not just another faceless CGI army. Of course I loved Infinity Wars and Endgame despite the faceless armies and humor because it was still well done. Add in Civil War and that's about as far as I go. On the tv side I really only truly enjoyed "Falcon & Winter Soldier" since it took on "Winter Soldier" vibes. Then "What If" since the episodes were dark/serious mostly. WandaVision and Loki were decent but couldn't stomach the other shows that have come out.

My pet theory is there is more than one group of Skrulls. Talos is on Fury's side, that of the 90s refugees. I've been saying Dark Reign is coming for years. I also think Secret Invasion occurs because Annihilation is happening right now. The viewers are like the earth superheroes in Civil War 2. They're going to have their political battle against the Dark Avengers and be completely ignorant while Annihilus destroys the Skrull and Kree empires, wipes out the Nova Corps, etc. I was predicting that Kingpin takes the role of Norman but it could well be Contessa/Hydra. That's why I hope Nova is Richard Rider. I want to see him show up and bitch out the Avengers.
I hope they go dark and stop this over use of comedy(bad comedy at that). I've been losing hope in the MCU since Dr. Strange to the point I flat stopped watching during Thor 4 and Ms. Marvel. Honestly, I cant wait for Armor Wars. I believe Doom will make an appearance. He doesnt have to. But I think Doom basing his Armor on Stark tech would make it easy for people to go along with in MCU rather just showing up with his own suit of Armor. Tony Stark met with Reed in a different universe after Reeds version of Thanos's defeat and Dr. Strange's death, and introduced time travel to Reed Richards. I am a marvel fan and a dc fan. Marvel to be honest need to accept the fact that quality over quantity is always better. Dc is smacking marvel now. The sandman is so goooooddd. Not gonna lie is the best série we had in the entire of comics. Peacemaker was a close second of best series from comics. Loki was good but no where near good as sandman or peacemaker. As a dc fan I still hope they get even better but I lost hope on dc movies

I’m not comparing the two entities BUT. DC did Suicide Squad twice. Yet, there was no build up towards It. MCU is carefully building up the Thunderbolts for the audience to actually care for them. “Secret Invasion”, “Armor Wars” to build up for “Thunderbolts”? That’s great planning!

In the end there, the question he asked us “what do we think Marvel are gonna do” I realized this man has too much faith in Marvel. The comics/books/graphic novel are ALWAYS better. What Marvel had done in the past decade with Ironman, GOTG, Black Panther and Infinity War and End Game was once in a lifetime achievement. But y’all gotta admit, by their own standards, it’s been subpar. Perfect example: Hulk & Thor.
We’ve not gotten a Hulk & Thor story where both characters unleashed their FULL power. They always downgrade them.

So THAT is how far my level of interest in Marvel and the MCU has dropped... I read "Secret Invasion" in the title here, it piqued my interest enough to click. I haven't really followed the MCU or Marvel in general since 2018... but still, I listened for about 2 minutes before I realized I no longer give a flying fuck about any of it... Good to know. More time, more money to be allocated to something that ACTUALLY draws my interest, and has a premise even worth paying attention to.
Wow. From former life long fan to complete disinterest. That's incredible, how far Marvel has truly fallen. There was a time not so long ago I was dropping hundreds of dollars on Marvel merchandise... now I won't even drop 2 minutes on a fan theory. Disney truly was the worst thing to happen to Marvel.
Oh well. They once said if I don't agree with them, to go somewhere else. I can do that. The *Rippaverse* is looking more and more interesting every day.

OMG I thought I was the only one feeling that way about this... Yes! Marvel is kaput. I'm a woman (at least, by the original definition and not the woke alphabet definition) and She Hulk and Thor 4 were the absolute last straws for me... Either the writers of those are incredibly stupid, or they are deliberately trying to set women back to the 1800s. Easily tied for the most absurdly patronizing, stereotypical pieces of 4th wave feminism bullshit I've ever seen. They don't even have the decency to pretend anymore and put even a small semblance of a story in this garbage heap anymore... I hope you're right because I don't care for the campy/humor everywhere MCU. My favorite MCU movie is "Winter Soldier" because it was gritty, had limited humor in the right places, intrigue, and action! Stakes were personal and not just another faceless CGI army.
Of course I loved Infinity Wars and Endgame despite the faceless armies and humor because it was still well done. Add in Civil War and that's about as far as I go. On the tv side I really only truly enjoyed "Falcon & Winter Soldier" since it took on "Winter Soldier" vibes. Then "What If" since the episodes were dark/serious mostly.
WandaVision and Loki were decent but couldn't stomach the other shows that have come out.
thor 3 was good thor 4 was not its not the fact the funny exists its the execution and the funny in 4 literally tried really hard and forced its way to being the most common thing like we got a story about fuckin gorr THE GOD BUTCHER.........BUTCH ER. and his character was ass even looked like ass. not much about 4 was good imo
Good grief. First of all, everything Marvel has done has been wildly different from the comics. Second, this is Disney's MCU. It is not going to shift from family "fun" to something more serious. Fans have cheered, and studio has listened. Star Lord dancing for Ronin? She-Hulk twerking? Look for Black Panther to break dance.
I wonder if S.H.E.I.L.D is coming back to the MCU in this show a rebuilt version of the Organization after CA Winter Soldier and the first two seasons of AOS

BROOOOO THANK YOU SO MUCH, I’m tired of everyone complaining about the jokes, shit is clearly about to get so bad and messy for everyone not just for earth, but for the entire 616 universe with the subtle hints of incursions and a mutliversal war. Like I understand that Ms Marvel ain’t for everyone and Thor and She Hulk are mainly comedy driven but i don’t understand why people think this means the mcu is falling off and will never be serious😂Did people forget that Black Panther 2 is coming out in a few months??? That’s literally gonna be one of the saddest movies to ever exist just because of the emotional weight it holds cuz of Chadwick. The MCU is about to be so awesome and entertaining, Ant Man 3 in February is going to be what starts the avalanche and it will only get crazier from there! I can’t wait.
I've been saying Dark Reign is coming for years. I also think Secret Invasion occurs because Annihilation is happening right now. The viewers are like the earth superheroes in Civil War 2. They're going to have their political battle against the Dark Avengers and be completely ignorant while Annihilus destroys the Skrull and Kree empires, wipes out the Nova Corps, etc. I was predicting that Kingpin takes the role of Norman but it could well be Contessa/Hydra. That's why I hope Nova is Richard Rider. I want to see him show up and bitch out the Avengers.
So, most likely, Captain America: New World Order will be their Dark Reign substitute….

I hope they go dark and stop this over use of comedy(bad comedy at that). I've been losing hope in the MCU since Dr. Strange to the point I flat stopped watching during Thor 4 and Ms. Marvel. I tried again for She-Hulk and it the worst thing they've ever done without question. I have no faith any longer. The comics are infinitely better.
Honestly, I cant wait for Armor Wars. I believe Doom will make an appearance. He doesnt have to. But I think Doom basing his Armor on Stark tech would make it easy for people to go along with in MCU rather just showing up with his own suit of Armor. Plus, he was part of the original Armor Wars story.

"Take stories from the comic books and switch them around." That's the nicest way to put it i guess, I'd go with waste them personally. I'm sure it'll be fine, nowhere near as good as any of the comic versions but ehh. Until they introduce the x-men or Dr Doom, I'm pretty much done with the mcu, probably only going to check out Guardians and that's it.

I wasn't excited at all about secret invasion. Like fury against the skrulls with very little cameos or help for fury, fuck that no thanks. I've changed my mind after that trailer lol it looks good, real good. I still hope we get waaaaaaay more cameos than just Rhody. I'm kinda getting irritated with the MCU taking massive stories involving endless amounts of characters and diminishing them greatly when they do live action. It still looks really good though

I HAVE A THEORY!!!!! I think the Tony Stark that died in Endgame was a Skrull and the real Tony Stark was somewhere else studying more about time travel, and assembling the Illuminati. Tony Stark met with Reed in a different universe after Reeds version of Thanos's defeat and Dr. Strange's death, and introduced time travel to Reed Richards. This is how Nathaniel Richards got a hold of it.

What if The Thunderbolts become known as the worldwide new avengers and having many of the superheroes trust them then they are revealed to all be skrulls including Contessa and the real thunderbolts are locked away. Also Contessa would be a Skrull the entire time too recruiting/kidnapping each member

Dc is smacking marvel now. The sandman is so goooooddd. Not gonna lie is the best série we had in the entire of comics. Peacemaker was a close second of best series from comics. Loki was good but no where near good as sandman or peacemaker.
As a dc fan I still hope they get even better but I lost hope on dc movies

I think the skrull has finally seen Earth as a threat once they were able to defeat Thanos. with that they probably sent in agents to start infiltrating the Earth. Seeing what they can siphon from the Earth and because they probably killed nick fury contact, They probably took the place of next The show probably is him re establishing himself within Earth so he can Inform everyone about the invasion.
Honestly I think it's going to have Samuel Jackson as the skrull. It would make sense that he would come back to Earth to take care of that specifically because there would be nobody else who would be able to prove that the scroll that might have Took the place of the other skrull that was nice.
