Dungarees are jeans, heard that all my life in North Carolina. Ian Wright Wright, Wright, Arsenal player, daughter brought me an Arsenal hat back from UK when was in university there.😊
AND Matt and people, In-N-Out Burger owns Pomona dragstrip now, in-N-Out Burger if you’re not on a low cholesterol diet is the best burger in the west,,, thanks and I could not and will not eat animal style nothing at In-N-Out Burger,,, thanks BigAl California.
Im with Hollie , “Right Right “ lol i luv it my favorite show , “ Mike & Molly” oh and Wendy’s for the win , i dont care for “ In and Out “ either . But my favorite is “ Arby’s” their Rubin is to die for .. 👍
My preference is In & Out. But, you can't go wrong with Wendy's.
My grandmother, who was born in the North Carolina mountains, called jeans dungarees. I like Wendy's for their diverse menu, chili, baked potato and of course the Frosty. Don't have In n Out near us, and as much as we've travelled I don't think we have ever stopped there.
So from what I understand the term dungeries Was an old naval term for Trousers that sailors wore that filtered into the U.S. lexicon but a did originally come from England.
You notice how colorful all the parts of the burgers are? I watched a documentary made about 30 yrs ago on classic burger joints and the key to a good burger was that every one of the ingredients were high quality.....great tomatoes, great lettuce, etc. Some fast food places will serve you with lettuce and tomatoes that have turned white, no flavor left.
Wendy's jr Bacon cheese burger the 💣
When you come to Texas you have to go to Whataburger. It’s a state law. And it’s so freaking good!!
I’m from Texas and Whataburger sold out to a Chicago company. It’s not the same anymore.
@@robinrapport8728 Well, that depressing.
If you like Wendy's over in and out, I can't watch you guys channels anymore! Wendy's is gross, in and out is the best. Come on guys get with the program!
Ian wright football player Ian wright wright wright
From and in devon uk
Ok im from California originally and the in and outs from Cali are much better that the ones from Utah I think it's the old seasoned grills have way more flavor
I don’t like Wendy’s because the burgers have no flavor like no salt no pepper
Spent my entire life in SoCal…In&Out everywhere…….. OverRated!
Wendy burger. 🍔 Try putting Wendy chili sauce on the burger ! Great videos
Until I moved to Texas I thought it was the best.
WHAT A BURGER is absolutely the best.
Whataburger is absolutely the worst. Stale buns overcooked dry burger stale lettuce and way too much mustard. 🤮
@@mikeb.7183 Generous
I tossed tx and what a burger by 1984
Whataburger is filth.
how about an episode of Fergus and Walter? I do like the mix of build, trails and day in the life format. as usual a home run video from Holley the trail MASTER .💯💯 you are the 💣
Never tried in ND out burgers I will the a bk whopper anyday
Those are Bebe over alls, I think they used to-be and company, I can’t remember, but yeoveralls, but yes thanks BigAl California.
I like the In-N-Out, but that might be because we have waited so long for them to come to my area. Some people might not know, but they do not have any freezers so everything is supplied by a regional commissary/distribution center. Once they had to get enough real estate locations to justify an additional commissary, they started builing everything up. My father used to call jeans dungarees.
Wendy’s is low grade dog food compared to In N Out.
Wendy's is so much better than in&out but you need to come to Texas for Whataburger
…or Five Guys..? And Wranglers!
I watched this at lunch time. I had to pause the video and grab a burger.
16:30 Ian Wright Wright Wright. ua-cam.com/video/W6tcYq93qOE/v-deo.html
As a European, I know who Ian Wright is. The legendary English ex-footballer for Crystal Palace and Arsenal.
Most Americans might not know him, but then again as a European I can't name a single baseball player - well except for Babe Ruth, but that's only because I once watched a televised movie about Babe Ruth starring John Goodman.
Interesting note:
When Clara Peller was doing commercials for Wendy's making fun of other burger chain's smaller basic hamburgers for being small..."Where's the beef?" Wendy's basic was 1/4 lb before cooking, same as In N Out. Same as Big Mac or 1/4 Pounder. Same as Jumbo Jack. Same as Whopper. But Wendy's basic burger cost more than the other brand's upscale burgers. Wendy's did not offer a smaller burger that had been the standard size since the 1800s.
On top of that...the meat in those 1/4 lb Wendy's square patties was 1/3 soy protein. As opposed to pure beef from the others (well, Mickey D's purity might have been debatable).
So just what is it about In N Out's product that causes you to call it "hot trash" with all fresh ingredients?
Maybe instead of adding more sauce and other stuff to cover that fresh burger, you need to try ordering the way I do. #2 with lettuce, tomato and grilled onions ONLY. I don't like their sauce or anybody else's thousand island dressing.
Or maybe you're looking for a haggis burger? 😮
I’m a low carb person. The two places that do a good job of lettuce wraps are In and Out Berger, and Carls Jr. The others give you soggy lettuce and a room temp burger. Even if they are square.😂
4x4 with grilled onions add chiles and extra sauce and light fries with strawberry milkshake is my order. I travel hours to get it too!
A double/double animal style with everything… Wendy’s stand aside.
Sorry Holly m'dear, but In-N-Out is better than Wendy's. But given a choice, I'm going for Freddy's Steakburgers. Smashed, thin patties with crispy edges, and the best shoestring fries I've ever eaten. And the frozen custard is soooo good.
We wore dungaree's when I was in the Navy,,,, way back in the 1970's
Unfortunately many of Wendy's Burgers get much of their punch from high amounts of salt and saturated fat oh and over 1000 calories without the fries so the Trifecta for Heart Disease and Type 2 Diabetes. Just one a week could put you at higher risk of either or both.
According to dietitians a healthy burger should have less than 400 calories (preferably around 200) and be low on salt and saturated fat which at Wendy's means a Junior or Kid's Burger along with their smallest plain fries.
Myself its been about 20 years since I stopped for a burger since I prefer to make my own with ground turkey, salmon or even going with a veggie-burger. Been years since I've stopped for a pizza too since I prefer to make my own including the dough and have control of the ingredients. I confess that I cheat and use a bread machine to knead and proof the pizza dough.
Some food for thought...
Best!
I love to eat me some Wendy's horse meat Dave's Double or Triple. Best fast food burgers, hands down!
For edification; dungarees is the original name for denim pants (a.k.a. Blue Jeans,) which are a heavy coarse durable cotton twill woven from colored yarns; specifically: blue denim.
The term “blue jeans” originated from the city of Genoa, Italy, where cotton corduroy was manufactured and exported throughout Europe. The term “jeans” is believed to have derived from the anglicized word for Genes, the demonym for people from Genoa. In the 17th and 18th centuries, Genoa was a hub for trade, and sailing merchants from Genoa traded their goods throughout Europe, particularly to England and France.
The first blue jeans were made from indigo-dyed denim, which was a type of cotton fabric. The indigo dye was used because of its chemical properties, which made it stick only to the outside of the threads. When the denim was washed, tiny amounts of the dye would wash away, giving the fabric a worn-in, soft feel.
The term “blue jeans” was first used to describe the fabric, and later, the pants made from it. The name “blue jeans” is often used interchangeably with “jeans,” but technically, “jeans” refers to the fabric, while “blue jeans” specifically refers to the pants made from that fabric.
It’s worth noting that the term “blue jeans” was not always used to describe the pants. In the early days, jeans were made from a variety of colors, including white, brown, and black. The term “blue jeans” became more widely used in the mid-20th century, as the fabric became more widely available and the pants became a staple of American fashion.
You say football? I say: Ian Wright, Wright, Wright.
Hollie, I think you like the square burgers from Wendy's (They are amazing btw) cause you're used to having the awesomely delicious Scottish Square sausage from your homeland.
In n out is garbage. Wendy’s is good. Son of Baconator dipped in chili and a chocolate frosty is rad. WHATABURGER is where it’s at.
I know who Ian Wright is but I'm English so.... Maybe you should have mentioned his son Bradley Wright-Phillips, he played in the U.S.
What did Walter think of the In-n-Out burger?
How? How? Could you possibly like Wendy's more? Something is wrong with your taste buds. I worked at Wendy's when in high school. I can not to this day eat there. Especially the Chilli 🤮
The first time I saw how they "Plate" or serve their burgers it was different than everyone else. Then I realized the juices from the burger, lettuce, and tomato have somewhere to drain rather than going directly into the bottom bun.
Wendy's has a "secret" menu as well. If I remember correctly, there is 16 or 17 items on it. One of them is called the T-Rex burger and has 9 burger patties on it. LOL
I hate it when I leave my wallet in my work pants. I have eaten every hamburger there is in my 70 years. I used to make my own when I got so bored with franchise boogers. Two meals at In & out, and I said no more. I dumped Wendy's a long time ago. When the original chef sells out, the burgers change. I'm a designer of fast food restaurants. I no longer eat at FF places. Personally, I like an old fashioned hamburger with quality fat meat, toasted bun, mustard, and all fresh veggies. Nothing better for me. I like really soft slice of rib-eye too, but it almost has to fall apart to be on a bun.
WHATABURGER best burgers and GRIFFS BURGERS 2nd....
You should try Jack in the box burgers. I'm an employee there. I recommend the jumbo Jack with cheese with grilled onions and good good sauce. It's good
Interesting... Whata Burger is my burger of choice. Used to be Lotta Burger (think it's a southwest thing) but they have gone down hill big. I was not impressed with In and Out.
Try going to a McDonald's in california, Twenty dollars for just a big mac.... for that they should throw in a hind quarter of rabbit or what ever they are calling "Beef"
We don't have In and Out in Maine, never tried it. Wendy's or Five Guy's are the best burgers here. Reading comments, I see Whataburger mentioned. I remember them from my time a fort Hood in the 80's. Dang good burger. If you find yourself near a Whataburger, you must try it.
Lets get this straight. We are going to taste everything and take the leftovers back to the crew? Ha!!
Just looking at those patties, it’s obvious they’re going to be dry. Either held way too long or were on the grill too long.
I stumbled across an In and Out in Waco a few years ago and was really excited to try it since I had heard so much about them through the years. I was totally underwhelmed. Burger was dry, lukewarm and looked like it had been assembled by a crazed monkey. It made McDonald’s look good.
You missed the crunchy fries, the lettuce wrap which is super good and less filling. I would take In & out over Wendy's any time. Even the dbl dbl is the best.
Hollie, on Patties vs burgers when you say, "you all" do you mean Matt? Americans? or UA-camrs? Also if you have ever created a Burger you have to Pat them into shape. HA
You and Matt have both lost all credibility 😂😂. Wendy's over a Double Double! Never! 😂😂😂😂
I will admit I like Wendy’s better than In-N-Out, but In-N-Out is keeping their prices low where everybody else is raising them
IN-AND-OUT are okay. Seems like the same old thing every time....Wendys or Burger King Id rather eat at for a variety.
Haven't been to a Wendy’s for 30 years or longer. Mostly cause I prefer tacos. But when I do have a burger it's at In-N-Out.
in n out had really good fryes in the late 70's. I don't know when they went to their current style, but I no longer like them, ...... the burgers are just about the same. I agree Wendy's $5 dollar biggie bag is my favorite.
In/out complete garbage in Az....Only burger my friends dog ever turned away and refused to eat and the frys are like Old frostbitten room temp shoestring fries from a second hand store...Yeah the only time you'll ever see me at a in/out will be when I'm watching the store burn to the ground,. for me its a tray to trash shop
There is a small burger chain called Bakers here in SoCal they also sell Mexican type of food as well and I prefer them over In & Out!In & Outs burgers are good but the fries really suck!
That in and out place is that the Yoo Tube Channel in and out.
Have you ate at : The Hobit, or Freddy's I like both those places over in&out.. But tonight home made burgers on the grill for the win....
Next time up north you should try out Burly Burger near Ogden. It will amaze you with flavor and make it hard to eat a regular burger. If I'm not eating there then I'm getting a Dave's Double from the girl with the red hair and braids.
Windy’s #6 biggie size. Freddie’s hamburgers, I don’t see all the hype for In-N-Out.
We only have Wendy’s in PA and I would take In n Out anyday. However, top dog is definitely Culver’s 😂😋
I think the Dungarees thing and Ian wright wright wright are a UK thing. Love the show. Can't wait to see you out and about with Walter in the co-pilot seat.
What I find disgusting is mayo. It has a slimey texture and adds a bad taste. 😵💫🤢🤮
I never saw it on burgers til the late 80s. I'd rather have some axle grease🤣🤪
We have the same identical store in yuma Az. Hey Matt, I know of 2 Corvair at a local towing company here at yuma.
I was born in the 1960s hammers traditionally were round I would think Square would be on the dark side give me
I’ll take Wendy’s over In & Out any day. However, if you want a really good burger, go to Culver’s.
The only reason I go to In n out is because of the grilled onions. Mostly I prefer better burgers with a better meat to bun ratio and topping options like bacon and avocado. And I am thankful for the diehard in n outers because it probably keeps the line down at the burger places I prefer!
The giant town of Veyo, Utah has the best burgers. Right across the street from the Veyo Pie shop.
Matt can give you directions if you get lost.
no in and out burgers here in PA. I'm a Wendy's person, or the local dive dinner, lots of hidden gems can be found off the beat'n path.
here in my corner of the world is A&W teen burger ,
Ian wright soccer player in the 1990's. And yes those are dungerees. (Sounds Scottish but is not!)
Messy sandwiches are good sandwiches
If you don’t know who Ian wright is you probably think football is something you play with a rugby ball and 14 tons of body armour ( how gay )
I dont know if the resapie are the same all over the planet but mc donalds have/had one burger(tiny as allways) there was something in it i think it is dill or something familjar to dill and it was horrible, dont remember what burger it was since im not an big fan of this tiny everything shop,i was at an steikhose once when i drive thru sweeden, and after this steak cheef i had to crawl back to my car and rull down the seat to take an nap
WENDY’S……..period.
nothing else needs to be said…..
I've been out that way couple of times and tried them. The burgers are dry and not very good. Wendy's burgers are better.
Comparing wendys to in n out is crazy...Yall just use to taco bell/del taco stuff lol.
I’m a Texas guy, so it Whataburger for me…. But when I’m in New Mexico I turn into a Blake’s Lotaburger guy. You should try one of the two if you have the chance
Blake’s is literally the best no doubt about that
In Albuquerque and nearby, you have to have a Laguna Burger.
No way, "Five guy's" is where it is at people. Along with their french fries with fry sauce is the best.
If I have to find a menu item on a secret menu app, not plainly listed in the restaurant's menu board (or stack of menus), then I don't want to go there.
Here’s my opinion about In And Out burgers they’re too clean like Matt said not enough fat in the meat.
I’m hungry now, great!
Never had In and Out. Wendy’s is good but in my opinion, 5 Guys is the best I’ve had.
Have to order the fries well done...the fried it for second time and make it crispy....it's a game changer
Lovin' today's background music. I am not a fan of I-n-O, myself.
The closest in & out is 3 hours away.I go that way once a month to see the doctor?
I will definitely be trying the Hidden menu.
3 flying Dutchmans side of pickles and onions and cheese fries extra crispy
More content. less commercials
I once did a job for this older couple who was OBSESSED with in and out burger. He would go out every day and get an in and out burger for me. But he drove super slow and I’m pretty sure he stopped several times on the way home so it was always cold. This happened every day. For 3 weeks. That’s 15 cold burgers and fries. Cold pizza is one thing. A cold in and out or any burger is not ok. I’ve never been back since then. Good guy though.
Agreed, no cold burgers !! 😊
Love the Burgers but can’t stand the fry’s. The fry’s taste so blahhhh to me anyway.
If you only had a Whataburger there You would be impressed but yes Wendy's is good
Ms. Lovely, Wendy's for value, in n out for the flair. Much love❤
You needed to order the Flying Dutchman and Neapolitan shake
Nope, I’m not a in and out fan. Freddy steak burgers are the 💣 for me. 👍👍
Does St. George have an In-N-Out or did you drive to Vegas suburbs
When I'm going to get fast food the only time Wendy's even makes the list is when it is the only choice, and it is never the only choice. I prefer Carl's Junior or Jack in the Box but usually end up at In-N-Out because they are the best price for a quality burger.
Put enough toppings on a bad burger and you can make it taste ok, but it's still a bad burger
In and Out for the win. 4x4 animal/protein with chili cheese fries. "nilla shake to top it off
What is wrong with you people IN & 0UT i the best!!!
