Thank you! Great demo 👍I try twice before watching this video and I couldn’t do the spiral looks. Your video made me realized what I’m doing wrong. Trying today fallowing your video 😍
If you are a beginner, you may not be able to tell that the pot was clearly thrown on the surface it is sitting on. The clues are the swipe marks at the base of the pot. How long was it sitting there before the video started? Not sure, but not long is my guess based on the way the clay is acting. It is not leather hard, and he isn't exerting a lot of pressure to push the wire through.
This is a great tutorial, thank you! Your explanations are perfect and your voice so soothing.

I’m heading to the studio today to try this method.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge
'Spiral' and 'flutes' are the terms I have come to know and use.🇺🇸
Followed this yesterday and was able to make a beautiful bowl on my second try. Thank you so much ❤️!
That is so cool!
Great demo, thank you! Can't wait to try it out.
Such a great demo! How do you trim these bowls?
Great demo, but could I ask whether your pot was freshly thrown. Or whether you had dried it at all? Is it stoneware?
