- In my sewing room this week I have copied some garments I have seen recently online and in person using basic Big 4 patterns I already had. I also have a show and tell with my birthday gifts and of course have lots to report from my week away and what has happened in my sewing room since I have been back.

At last I made an Emmie top that was nearly as good as yours! My Hubby really didn't like the other one. I was so pleased with the Lutterloh top, it came out so much better than I had hoped for! I know it is bad but those cotton jersey tees are next to nothing to buy and is a great way of grabbing some different colours of jersey.

It is a great basic pattern though and can be changed up so easily. My oldest Grandson so wanted to see a palm tree from our hotel room and he was so pleased when we had a whole array of them! I always think of a very old film when I see them. Not sure if you would know what I mean but it is 'Some Like it Hot'!! ( One of the best films ever)

Hi Dori, you are right about another colour blocked tee, I had forgotten about that one as I did it differently. Chris isn't a fan of colour blocking for some reason but he did like the pink one luckily. I always worry if I talk too much but I suppose people can always come back to my videos when they have more time, that is what I do when I watch long vlogs! I really do just love being outside and luckily Chris is happy to be dragged along.
