Do you guys have a video on Replacing alternator on a 2008 Escape. ?
what’s the size of that belt? Part # ? I bought a belt but I don’t think it is the right one even though I told the warehouse all the specs for my 2012 Escape 3.0L
Would be nice to mention that this is not the 2.5L…

Well I should of lift it my ford escape and doing it from the bottom instead of loosing the drive belt from the top and struggled big time with my ratchet stuck with the tensioner 😂🤦.
I have a 2012 Escape. I am going to replace the water pump which on my car is above the tensioner and to the rear of the alternator. This video, though clear, doesn't show the water pump. Is this a 2012? Thanks for posting.
The older models have the water pump on the other side of the engine

I've not seen a single vid for my 09 escape that looks anything like mine...if got like 5 pullys & wheels to go around, my belt is like 87"
There’s also a belt on the other side of the engine but I can’t find any diagrams for it. Is that the timing belt?

Step 1: Get a Lift. 2. Remove Front Facia. 3. Remove Panel....
This doesn't help the person working in a driveway without a lift. The average Joe doesn't have a car lift in their yard
Just need long breaker bar
Easier on jacks tbh
You don't need lift u less you're doing an engine replacement or transmission
And even then, you can still do it without a lift
He did it the hard way
Whats the easier way?
This is 3.0L engine.
