@@Pfannkuchenkanone yeah bro, from Brasil, here doesn't have the sp version of mt09, but i have Ride the New triple 2 weeks ago and the 09 and the z900, the foto is old and the 06 is because the name already is in use, so a have to put the 06 in It, i love the looks of triple, personaly i think is the beutiest of the 3, the Tork LINE of triple is the best for me, none abrupt like 09, so smooth at low rotations and a beast in high rotations, of the 3 i prefer the triple, but again, i dont Ride the sp, or the New versions of 09. Sorry for bad english, i'am still learning It.
mt09 is a great bike no doubt, but yamaha lowers the rev limit of the new engine to just 10.5k as opposed to the older ones that goes around 11.5k, love the mt but gotta love the 765 12.5k redline 😂 it sings
No, the primary reason why the 765 gets much worse fuel mileage is because it's at 5500 rpms at 65 mph while the larger 890 is only at 4400 rpms at the same speed. They geared the 765 much much lower to make it quicker and because it has more rpm headroom than the MT-09, they could get away with that. But higher rpms means more combustion events, which means higher fuel consumption.
I know you do new motorcycle comparisons and you do them great but can you throw in classic/legend motorcycles like 90’s 00’s era etc. or 1st gen vs latest gen comparisons?
I think the video is wrong -- if I didn't misunderstand -- about the Street Triple having a "T-Plane" crank. Triumph reserved that distinction for their Adventure Bike lineup. In fact, you can see the Tiger 900 & 1200 moniker in the T-Plane pallet window that pops up, despite what the narrator says at the same time.
@Second Gear can we have Triumph Street triple R / RS 2024 vs Kawasaki Zx6r 2024 ? or can someone give advice on which one I should go for. Some info - I own KTM Duke 200 (2013) - I Stay in India - 31 Year Old - Casual riding - City ride / Infrequent Sunday rides - Might consider Track sessions in future - Relatively low maintenance between two - If i plan to resell ?
Bro, is Just a big diferente in these bikes, one is SuperSport mid range bike, and other is a supernaked midrange, i prefere the mid range torque and resposiveness of street triple, and the positionig is not as agressive than zx6r, of course the zx6r have greater topspeed, but strugles more in low revs, personaly My obvious choice for casual riding and confort riding, is the triple, but maintence of it is expensive, anyways both are pretty good bikes, and whatever you choose Will be a great, follow your heart, i don't know in índia, but by Far, kawasakis sells better than triumphs in general
Here in India, service of Kawasaki specially their big bikes like Zx6r or Z900 is not good, parts availability is very poor also its pretty expensive. Although maintenance wise Triumph does better but it's also expensive. ✌️
Take note that the zx6r 2024 is engine tweaked. It has better acceleration than the 2023 below zx6r. Mcn tests it out with other other supersport like cbr600rr thriump street triple rs the one that you see in the video and panigale v2. Zx6r 202r has the fastest 0-100 and quarter mile. Beating the panigale v2. In terms of acceleration zx6r2024 is no joke. You can watch it to see mcn supersport. Street riding go for street triple but track and occationally street riding go for zx6r thats my two cents only
I've Ridden both and for open road use + tons of fun the MT is much much better than the Street triple. The triumph is only better for track (but their are far better bike for track ...) and better if you need to flatter your ego a bit ^^
I hope the 765 doesn't feel as gutless as the 675. Hopefully its the bike i always wanted it to be since 09 after all the Euro hype and reviews thank God i test rode 2 of them thinking i would trade in my 07 600RR. Best decision i ever made. Those old Street triples rusted like crazy too. I gotta test ride the RS
@aniruddhagujar4119 The 765 has the same tq as a 600 Inline-4 to the wheel just available at lower revs. That's why they added 100hp I'm assuming. I havnt riddin the 765 but I don't even want to. The top speed is shyte too. I've got a S1KRR and Bandit 1250. I stopped caring about triumph in in 09 after the Street Triple craze was over. Didn't sell good in America at all.
I've got the z900. The features are lacking, and it has an inline 4. It's a better bang for the buck if all you care about is motor size and price, and don't mind the honkin weight.
I work next door to a motorcycle shop and pop in a couple of times a week and enjoy drooling over their stock and talking crap. What I do notice is , when these two different bikes are trading in (older models) the MT09s don’t hang around for long compared to the triumphs. Is one more reliable than the other? Idk
having top end power makes it the complete oposite of being better for track, the mt would surely win in a track bcz of its torque making it able to leave corners faster. Same goes with the r7 and cbr650r, r7 is overall better on track even though it has less top end power. Thats the reason why most track bikes builds got shorter transmissions, to have more power in the bottom end and slightly less in top end
I have the gen 2 XSR900 and also a Street Triple RS. I prefer the XSR on the street and the Striple on the track but you can’t go wrong with any of the two
well this 2 are probably best in the class without discussion but i would go for street triple just because i find mt09 too small for my height despite me being only 5.10 not ergo wise but purely vased on looks
Congratulations, Yamaha! You went from having a questionable looking MT-09 model in 2023 -- that did have some aesthetics that grew on you over time -- to now, having one of the most fugly looking bikes I ever seen!🤔😕 The fuel tank on the 2023 was pretty cool looking but the new tank is way too wide and is horribly misshaped and, does NOT follow the inherent lines of the bike or frame like the older tank did. The wider tail section looks like an afterthought and the even more ugly headlight was a nice touch too. Good job! 👍 🤔 NO 👎👎👎
@@mohamedabdulkarim779 I was speaking for myself. There's no obligation for you to feel the same way. I hope you get one and have lots of fun on it!
