  • In this video I talk about the 4 months ive been running my agency for, the progress that I made and up to what point I got stuck before approaching signing my first smma client. I think this point that im in my journey may be what other beginner agency owners may be going through, so I thought I would share my thoughts and how I plan on signing my first client.
    I also have been getting lots of messages about potentially changing my niche to local lead gen instead of ecom ads through facebook.

    Offer a Service For Free - A mentor once told me that learning a specific service (Email Marketing, Social Media Management, Facebook Ads…) helps a lot to get the first client and your first case study. The thing is, you can take the time (2-3-6 months or more depending on your schedule) to master one service and then you can offer it for free to a business owner. This way you really understand how the service works by you doing the actual work. Once the business owner is happy with the results, they will want to continue working with you and they will bring more costumers, at this point is where you can really outsource your service and continue scaling. Like if this makes sense!

    I am also at that point at the moment I think it is just a beginner thing that will get better the more we send out cold emails etc. trying new things
    And I agree that it's better to do local lead gen FB ads as a beginner then jumping straight into bigger more experience needed territory
    But Dont Give Up! We Got This!

    Local lead gen is goated. If you do get results for locals, you can genuinely change their lives. It brings nothing but joy to you & your client so trust me go ahead and do it.

      That's what I'm starting with is Local. I live in middle of a massive hamlet (Sherwood Park) in Alberta Canada and I'm in between major cities so I'm hoping when I start out my ONLY main struggle is getting to know my stuff. Not the FINDING clients as much

    In the start you should take whatever clients come your way. It’s not so important what specific niche it is, in the start just focus on getting whatever client, getting a good case study to show on your next meeting. Then the ball is rolling👍 keep up bro!

    I wanted to ask this from a person who went through Iman’s course.
    How useful is it, if you already have a great mindset, capable of researching information online and do not plan to focus on creating the creative aspect of ads yourself?
    Basically from pragmatic perspective on all the pros you get from the course.
    This would be very helpful if someone helped me to create a clearer image of the course.

    • @juansmmajourney
      @juansmmajourney  Рік тому

      Hey, if you already have a great mindset and are good at researching you can definitely find all the stuff you need to get your agency going online. Most of the stuff is on UA-cam! So if you don’t want to buy any course you will be fine in my opinion. The biggest pro of the course is having all this information organized and not having to do your own research to find it.

    • @eve_______
      @eve_______ Рік тому

      @@juansmmajourney Appreciate the response. It is not like I am unable or
      unwilling to buy the course. Just curious about its substance.
      Another question, did you find plug and play, examples, legal advice noticeably useful on there? Also from what I heard challenges that are on there and the access to community is quite helpful in terms of giving clarity and direction, that true?
      Sorry if these questions are overly obnoxious, I just really like to understand with what I am dealing beforehand.
      Also watching your video kind of confirmed, that the most challenging and important part is mastering successful communication with the clients and then being able to find reliable people to do the ads with the expected quality.
      Oh also you need to set up the legal and financial framework beforehand, but I feel like this is actually good, because this is closer to an actual business model so it immediately requires you the skills that will be useful later on.
      Anyways, good luck to you on your SMMA journey.
